I think it's hilarious that the amount of black on them keeps getting more dramatic as they get higher above the average. This implies the existence of a very tall, completely black fox.

It's just an art style quirk, I think. Certain detailed shots and angles have shown that the anime-faced Keidrans really have proper snouts, too, they're just downplayed. Probably because Tom's scared of altering their look too much at this point.

(Used to have that, quit that teir after others started posting 'canon defining' backstorys for characters way after the pics - and characters - went live, seeming to want to gazump others imagined ideas for each scenario shown ... super disengaging for me, so stopped playing that game :( )
