Since Keidran are anthropomorphic digitigrades, they walk like humans and certainly hunt like them. Edit: uups, had a mismatch between andromorph and anthropomorph - corrected here and below.

There have been heated discussions concerning this. If an anthropomorphic version of a digitigrade species were real, and truly digitigrade there would be a variety both advantages and disadvantages. Speed would probably one of the advantages as seen in human sprinters running primarily using the thrust of their toes and forefoot (hence the starting blocks used in world competition). There have been experiments where humans have attempted walking and running solely on digitigrade in daily life, but the kinetics of this aren't sustainable due to plantigrade evolution. Obviously no one would be willing to attempt orthopedic surgery for an experiment of this type so.... you get the idea.

Evolution has put us bipeds on our feet—a phrase that really only makes sense when referring to plantigrade walking. The reason for this likely lies in the fact that a purely digitigrade gait would demand a lot of energy from a biped just to maintain balance. This unnecessary effort can be avoided—or at least reduced—by increasing the contact area with the ground. And voilà: feet. Of course, as @wjd1206 points out, feet come with their drawbacks, but the benefits clearly seems to outweigh them. So, in the real world, that’s the evolutionary path that was taken. That said, anthropomorphic toe-walkers are undeniably cool—especially the feline ones.

I'd think that the long hair would increase drag to the point where the ultra-delicate cheetah's only strength, it's insane bursts of speed, would dissuade the mane from ever getting longer than an inch or two...

Well obviously, they have a humanoid rib and shoulder structure after all, and pelvis, but I can't imagine a cheetah-based race being built for anything but speed, and long hair does mess with that, as anyone who races will tell you, especially swimming.
