it was confirmed that what happened to Nat's soul had no impact on his identity, he was trans before, and he is trans after. where the confusion comes in is that Zen thought that it was because of Nat's soul being shattered and the mind link formed, and that belief got carried over through the link so Nat ended up believing that as well. Once the link got severed he realized (thanks to Youngtani) that Nat's masculine feelings and male identity all came from himself all along. That applies even to a fictional comic character like Natani, especially since there are trans individuals reading along in this forum who are rightfully sensitive to such matters. Now, I’m not here to preach. Everyone must decide for themselves how they engage with others. But I will point out certain behavior when I feel it’s appropriate. Some things just shouldn’t go unchallenged.

If you like, please let me take you on a small journey: just imagine for a moment that you’re alone in a room with a well-built, 1.9-meter-tall trans man who makes it very clear that he expects to be treated as a man. Would you really have the disrespect to address him as a woman—and accept whatever consequences might follow? Would you just sit there, unsure, staring into a corner? Would you perhaps respond with aggression yourself, risking a situation that could spiral out of control? (Which I sincerely hope not.) Or would the two of you have a respectful conversation, one from which both sides could take away something valuable? Thank you for engaging in the conversation and not simply blocking me or anyone else with an opposing view, as happened further down the thread.
