Wyatt lute

Yea when will the kitten be born?

ElymiGremlin

We'll get there one day Flora

Syler

😂 So good!!!

RemyHindle

Literal Bonnie situation, right now lol "You either have the baby or not"

Iago24

At this pace you'll be giving birth to a demigod, Flora.

Broaster07

Time is relative, but if each page was a day in the pregnancy Arc how long was the gestation?

Drazgon

Pffft... PfHAAHAAHAH!! Love sketches where patrons express their frustration in friendly way

Ghostpony

Flora gives birth to a 20 year old college student....now that would be bizarre

Vk102_Artworks

It's been 20 years already?!?!? Damn, now I feel ancient

Xavier

I think the bun is burnt by now.....

Ascdren

That "soon" better be a promise

Ezekiel S. Miles

Finally...it's addressed lol. That baby could be in college right now

Shadow

Wondering when the baby will be born in the story?

Odin

Lmfao

Drazgon

On the other hand, don't you like being 11 for 20 years? It's almost your whole lifespan!

Archer

Well, twenty years on Saturn ≠ twenty years on earth. Relativity and pregnancy rarely get along 😄

Savvyidiot

Flora: "DEFINE SOON?!?!?!"

Okami Freak

I blame Nora and her mischief for this.

Spark

Just what I imagined, 20 years!!! I thought Flora had been pregnant for 16 years XD

TheAnomaly16

Because comic time is slower than real time. 5 to 10 seconds in your world is like a week in our world.

ElderScrollsMekkan

"soon?" I hope you're not about to rush this important subplot now o~o; because I'm gonna say right now, for the health of the story: Don't. For God's sake just don't. Classic fourth wall joke regardless xD Even if that joke coming from the fans is admittedly getting pretty old and stale by now. I just don't like how "fans" are pushing the author over the years to rush this, of all things, and one of the biggest things that simply cannot be rushed.

jphorn

Lmao poor girl xD

Austin Atkins

Yeah I don’t think I can fix that wall anymore.

J. Martin Laursen

Therie`s pregnancy took shorter time than Flora`s.

Spillthefire6

This is why human-Keidran relationships tend to be so rare

Reno

That baby can almost legally drink at this point XD

Michael Marcoccio

This is the first case I’ve seen of the mother giving the father Shaken Baby Syndrome…

Deko Puma

I wonder if we'll see more of a bump anytime soon?

Mellenius

How long is Keidran lifespan again?

Cedric L.

Warp... Shenanigans... They keeping them at bay

Ranbowshep

Which will happen first, Flora giving birth, or One Piece ending?

Jeremiah Fox

We'll get the GTA6 before Flora gives birth... 😂

Ranbowshep

Add that to the list of which will happen first

Ocathain

Oh god she became Bonnie

Charles Dyer

Ah... The Gone With The Wind effect. Read the book, and look at the various battles while m'girl Melanie is pregnant. And, you should be shaking Tom, not Trace, Flora.

Aaron Peterson

"Okay, first of all, Bonnie, you've been pregnant for, like, six years, all right? Either have the baby or don't."

Anonymous1988

Trace: "I don't know; ask Tom, the guy who draws us!" Flora: "...Keith? I think I shook Trace too hard." Keith: "How can you tell?" Flora: "His eyes went all funny and he started spouting gibberish." Keith: "Isn't he always like that before his morning coffee?"

The Honeycomb Lord

They'd be born straight into a retirement home, if we're going by Keidran aging

Broaster07

One of the newer posts suggy that each comic was only a couple of minutes in the two kinds universe so that might explain the event in our timeline

Rook Prime

Now I'm wondering, how long does a Keidran pregnancy take? I know it's only been...what, a month or so in-universe since she found out? But if they only live 20 years or so, I can't imagine it'd take too long...

Aucere

Shes goona pop out a whole ass adult

Wingmander

Wait, WHAT?! The comic is already going for 20 YEARS?!

silver dragonia

yeah seems like so and one fun fact with me it's most of my life i wonder how this was going for this long but i hope it ends well one day and i also love his flora freaks out this much which is understandable

silver dragonia

i love how flora freaks out with for how long she's been pregnant which i think is understandable and i wonder aswell hopefully their child is a healthy child once flora gave birth to the child

Halo Hybrid

I’m sayin’ Flora! 😂

Alex Xeno

And yet, barely showing xD

wjd1206

Time dilation! How long has elapsed in canon again? Fourth wall breech!

wjd1206

I see light bulbs!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Earendil

Well, at least she didn't have a period? ...didn't have to go into heat? ...something like that... for twenty years. Edit: But yeah, we're all pretty antsy to meet this child.

Joshua Clark

Really!? It has been 20 years since Flora been pregnant!?

PkmnTrainerLucas

Well, I guess a timeskip will have to happen someday for us to be able see that child born.

wjd1206

I doubt Flora knew about the masks' plans.

wjd1206

It's simpler than that. It hasn't been 20 years in canon.

wjd1206

Somewhere between a quadruped's gestation and a human's. I'd guesstimate 5 to seven months.

SCD

Flora: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW!!! Trace: Ask... Tom! Flora: WHO'S TOM!!! Trace: I... Have... No... Idea! Flora: ......

Oswald

Just makes you wonder what that baby is going to look like

Joshu Kel'Machan

No need to be dramatic; it’s just a simulation glitch. 🤣🤣🤣

PkmnTrainerLucas

I know that. I meant that considering in the canon Flora has only been pregnant for 1 or 2 months at most and with the current pacing of the comic our best hope for seeing their baby is a timeskip.

Tiglish

Great now that we don't need for this

Godzilla

20 years is a really long time; even a frilled shark only has a pregnancy of 3.5 years. XP

Sebastian Hildebrand

Pregnant for 20 years. Hmm, uh, Flora, that means you're over 30! As Keidran...

Mark Temple

Ah, the philosophical conundrum of "comic book time"

Muddypaws

We need to see Flora blossom to a very swollen size (and not just the belly) THEN have her go into labor. Be fun if Flora had not 1 but a litter.

John Vinson

Surely she's getting care from a Kiedrenarian who can perform a getitoutome operation if need be!

Wild Space Saga

At long last, she says what we've been thinking! Hurry it up already, Tom! And yes, I know it hasn't actually been 20 years, but still ...

Savvyidiot

Flora: "NGGGGGGGG!!!" Cut to random farmer citizen from cutaway scene page 224 paying for a pizza from Tom. The ground shakes. They both look to big BOOM in the distance of 9001 megaton nuclear kitty rage explosion.

Snowy Haze

20 years, um how old can Keidran get again?

Hunter_emerald07

Dang that is absolutely cinema XD and poor trace and flora to

Ceera Brandt

Lol! When the pace of releasing a story greatly differs from the character-experienced elapsed time... I know this all too well from my own story telling, where a few decades of story writing and plot development only actually covered far less than a year in the lives of the characters.

albedoequals1

Self-deprecating humor is the best humor

Glenn Sellers

ROFLMAO. Has it really been THAT long? I know she got pregnant early in the comic but I didn't think it had been 20 years. (And I thought elephants and whales had long pregnancies. LOL)

wjd1206

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Rook Prime

At least. Pretty sure the first time it could've happened would have been mid-2005.

eddi_TBH

Not his fault.

Kaija

Oh my god... I never realised it's been 20 years XD

MR, ABYSS

Being pregnant for 20 years must be a pain. understandable crash out on her part, just, probably not directed at trace, tho. XD

ElderScrollsMekkan

quit rushing Tom. This is a very important plot point and there's a lot to be done before the baby is born. character development etc. You CANNOT - RUSH - ART

Drazgon

Rushing the storytelling is one thing, increasing the amount of pages per year is another thing. Quit building a strawman.

Wild Space Saga

Relax. I have no intention of rushing anything. I'm a story writer myself, after all, with nine books published. But considering it's been probably over 10 years since Flora was told about her pregnancy, and sometimes Tom produces new pages for his comic at a snail's pace, you can't help but be a little bit impatient.

Cup of Ross

"Trace this is longer than my natural lifespan!"

Cup of Ross

Also goddamn has it really been that long? You started the comic when I was 16, when YOU were 16, we're 38 now! and Flora has been pregnant from two years into it until now? Though to be fair back then you used to upload three pages a week, not one page every three weeks.

Netari Icefyng

"I think you should ask Thomas Fischbach that , Flora.

Tam Barlas

I think Tom just likes drawing pregnant Flora

Vylon Delta

In all honesty sometimes I forget that Flora is pregnant. I mean yeah her tummy is expanded, but it only looks slightly bigger than normal. It makes her look, as Kat once said, like a “Tubby Tiger”.

Vylon Delta

*In Caboose’s voice* “Not my fault: the artist put a wall in my way”

Hestern Haste

at this rate, Reed will end with Kittens faster than Flora in 20 years xD

Jessman0722

I mean...it is a reasonable question 😅

ThePianistDragon

Gosh has it really been 20 years?! That's crazy.

TheLoreMaker

This comic is somewhat notorious for the slow progression of its arcs.

Cecil475

Don't be ridiculous, Flora. You've only been pregnant for at least 14 years and 8 months. (March 3rd, 2010) Or at least that is when you initially found out.

wjd1206

Don't let Flora hear that!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wyatt lute

But in the book only like a month or two if I'm correct..

Crimson Dragon

She's been pregnant longer than I've been alive. That puts a lot into perspective.

Holy Zen!

Hey, Flora, cheer up! Being pregnant has also made you immortal. Don't Keidran croak after 20 years?

ClocksCoyote

wow..... I wonder if my comment inspired this LOL. I literally pointed this out on DA just over a week ago. And yes i know spark officially suggested it but i wonder if he saw it.

Joe

NICE HELL YEAH HE DID THE JOKE

Justin Collins

"Soon, flora, soon..." feels like a threat.
