Keidran can actually interbreed with each other. Clovis and Kathrin are two examples of mixed breed Keidran where the former is fox-wolf hybrid and the latter is snow leopard mixed with something else I cannot identify.

@Chris - nothing has gotten murky. Natani's "past self memory" during his coma confirmed that he'd always been comfortable dressing and behaving masculine even before the accident and mindlink. He's transgender. That's not changing.
