Nope. Her*. Natani is reverting now that her mind is freed from her brother's influence. The comic clearly shows this. Even if some behaviors are perceived as masculine, the mind and body are still portrayed as feminine. (Her subconscious self even states as much)

Natani's subconscious actually states that all of the masculine identity was there before the link was created, and that they preferred being seen as male even before the connection with Zen. The whole point of the scene with Young Natani was that Natani was afraid of becoming a woman without Zen, with Youngtani assuring him that he won't and that he didn't remember it correctly.

FEMALE and if you pull the transgender card on me to note I don't care. in my book there is only male and female don't care what groups/cultures out there say that there are 20 million genders. if you are born male you're male, if you are born female you're female.... Natani is female. (Prepares for backlash to which he WILL NOT care.)

Please Vel, show me where Tom's ever said Nat was trans. Natani originally didn't want to seem 'weaker' so her and her brother played her up as a male, so they could stay together as assassins. Then the incident occurred which forced Zen to fill in the gaps, causing an identity disorder with natani as the maleness from zen was part of her. Now that shes accepting herself for how she is, she's becoming more feminine, but still has some traits that can be perceived as masculine, because a person doesn't just change behaviors they've had most of their life in an instant.

...no, Natani was afraid of being WEAK without Zen. Not wanting to be a woman was a manifestation of that fear, brought on by the fact that Zen always saw Natani as the weaker younger sibling whom he has to look out for. It never said or implied that Natani preferred being seen as a man before the link, only that Natani has always been strong enough to stand on his/her own and simply didn’t realize it.

Hell. I didn't intend to start a debate over the subject (teaches me to bother commenting), but I do agree with Shadowkey, Zackery Curtis, and Dekrosna. I prefer to go by what the text in the comic says, rather than fan speculation of conditions. I'm glad to see everyone has well thought out analysis of the characters in the comic, and thank you for a hopefully healthy debate. With this said, I'm backing out of the discussion/debate. GG
