I don't know about that. Dreams and nightmares are unpredictable. Even if they're connected, each dream can't be the same as the last. Maybe Trace's nightmare(s) this time around are not about him and Flora...They might be about his friend(s)...

Bah. You know what's worse than a dead Keith? An evil Keith. You know the phrase "Tu fui, ego eris (You're my past and I'm your future)"? Maybe this applies to Trace and Keith. Trace lost his wife and afterwards lost his mind and innocence. Keith has lost a lot more than just his "wife" and has been pretty damn closing to losing his mind too. To me, Trace and Keith have so much in common, it's disturbing. Now Natani is Keith's only true friend left. I'm sure Natani will live to see things through. But what of Keith's innocence, now that he's seen his homeland for what it truly is? Will Keith end up turning to darkness like Trace once did?

I think it's the subtleseed necklace Trace gave Flora near the beginning of the comic. Her fur kinda swallows it up if I remember correctly, so we usually don't see it.

I didn't make the connection between Trace and Keith experience of life and it seems legit. After, I think that Keith is on the good way, because King Adelaid try to be progressive and make things change, so, if he basculated, I don't think it come from his motherlands '^'

it's because HE IS the nightmare that it's a nightmare. He fear his other "him", "Evil Trace", that return sometime at the surface. He fear twice because Evil Trace have is own will now. It's not just a "berserk mod", it's "someone" inside his head, insidious, who try to make him turn back has the master of templar and bane of the Keidran. He fear thrice because his lovers his Flora... A Keidran, and by the past, he already hurt her, and even when it's because he was not him, he suffer from culpability. And he also fear for his baby, he trust flora, but Evil Trace already try to put doubt into his mind, and he fear for the life of this baby.
