Greywolf

Blimbs weren't used in WWII due to their voulnerability towards Flak cannons, so its probably some sort of plane or other military vehicle

Bardolf Snowolf

"One hot mama You turn me on Let's turn it up And turn this room Into a sauna One hot mama"

Wolf guy

Actually, they used smaller dummy blimps so that enemy bombers would hit them instead on the buildings

OneFluffyBoi

Someone has to make a mod for war thunder. Nose of a p51,p48 or b17

Sons of Lorgar

Wolf guy, you are thinking of barrier balloons, and no, they were not blimps, they were gas-balloons anchoring large steel wire nets to protect strategic targets from accurate low-altitude attacks at night as the ide was to pose a threat to low-flying aircraft for getting their wings critically damaged if they tried

Wolf guy

Right. Sorry. Thanks for the info. My dad is a history nut, so I’ll tell him. Thx

SCD

In this alternate universe, Rose took down Mecha-Hitler with a Chain Gun.

Amoeba

Yessss this needs a color

2026-10-08 12:00 STORY-COMMENT™ This is related to a good old show set in a WWII prison camp called Hogan’s Heroes, in this case, as if WWII happened in the world of TwoKinds. P.S. Andrew Carter (a rare Human POW): “Oh she’s the prettiest Arctic Wolf I’ve ever seen Col. Hogan. That kind of beauty isn’t the kind that should be locked up.” Cpl. Peter Newkirk (Fox): “What I think these two lovebirds are trying to say is that we should mount a rescue and get her back to Lyn’Knoll.” Hogan: “Other than her apparent beauty, why is she being kept so secure?” Newkirk: “Does the name Sgt. If you mess this up at all Klink! Heads will roll. DarthKeidran

Ok. I originally wanted to Ink and Color the “Rosie the Riveter” image with Natani… But doing it with Roselyn instead is an opportunity I shouldn’t pass up on.

DarthKeidran

Meh, the engine isn’t running, and she’s posing. Let’s leave her alone.

DarthKeidran

For some reason I read that to the tune of “Havana”. It still works.

DarthKeidran

I don’t have War thunder, but am glad to help with noseskins assuming that’s what you’re talking about. I’ll just want to know more specifically what you have in mind.

Fisk

Rose the Riveter

dylan hogan

Psst hey guess what guys? Im not 18 or older...

Emby

Shhhhhhhhhh 😜

steelabjur

There's two anothers I can see getting more votes than this one. ;)

Thisguy

Gah. She looks horrible. You really can’t draw planes can you? Rose looks fine though.

ThirdKind

I'm not finished I'm probably going to start asking for a lot more World War II inspiration

DarthKeidran

I guess it needs a Nora Card to make ya feel better. Fellow pilot (or rather aspiring pilot in my case)?

DarthKeidran

Like, are you wanting a her painted in a pose on the side of the plane’s noses, or are you thinking her face wrapped around the plane?

DarthKeidran

@Zakanuva If I let myself get [more] out of hand, it would have become the equivalent of an episode of Hogan’s Heroes. Maybe ill write it out as a few comic pages before sketching, inking and coloring it.

Thisguy

Nah, just a guy who appreciates cool looking machinery.

OneFluffyBoi

Just on the nose of the plane maybe with her name written under.

Absolutely gorgeous! I'd fly with her any day <3

DarthKeidran

Maybe link a similar image from a real plane so I know what you’re aiming for.

Michael Vey

I looooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! *Gasp* Hogan's Heroes. It is the best

Michael Vey

My great uncle was shot over Germany in WWII in a P-38 Lightning

Inu-Chan

In a past life this would immediately be hung on my bedroom wall. Please keep the ideas coming Third. This fella is a sucker for vintage pinups regardless.

ermwhat

Adorable!

MrWho

Perfect timing for the EF 24 "aviators". Especially for the 40ties club lounge. ;)

DarthKeidran

Got it. Figured that’s what you were talking about. I’ll look for some templates and get that going Monday after finishing coloring another art project that’s half done (Natani V Clovis Lightsaber Duel).

DarthKeidran

@Michael Vey I know. I mean, who doesn’t like explosions, especially paired with the Irony of them all being POWs?

Sons of Lorgar

NP, btw, don't take my word at 100% face value, I might have recalled some details wrong.

Kaija

Damn guy!! You have great imagination !

Kaija

Fun Fact, in French, "Hogan's Heroes" is named "Papa Schultz" ("Daddy Schultz") XD

Gary Scarborough

I’m hearing Glenn Miller’s “In the mood”. I love ‘40’s Jazz, and her hose is a sweet touch!👌😎

DarthKeidran

@Trainki Ruusian Thanks, I strive to use that imagination. Also, the tidbit about hogan’s Heroes in French is quite interesting. I didn’t know that.

DarthKeidran

Please do. I had a load of fun writing my Hogan’s Heroes Crossover Comment.

Kaija

I guess it's a different approach of the series with the tittle, "Hogan's Heroes" put the light on the capacity of Hogan and the fact that he is unbeatable, while "Papa Schultz" put more empathise on the fact it's an humoristic series (Putting Schultz, a Nazi Soldier that is supposed to keep the prisonnier in the position of a """Dad""" of this prisonnier is quite an ironic choice X3)

Argonwolf

Okay wow, pinups are seriously one of my guilty pleasures. Rose is another one of my guilty pleasures. *drools slightly*

Patrick Horton

THIS MUST BE COLORED!!! ROSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CrimsonQuill086

Personally, since I've always thought of Keith with a British Accent, I can see him driving a tank in Tobruk, or piloting a typhoon.

DarthKeidran

Can you specify the exact p51 and b-17 models you're looking for? warthunder lists several variants and I can't find any one specific skin that works with them all.

OneFluffyBoi

The P-51D-5 and The B-17G, also i don’t know how how to create a skin but could you provide me the picture you used to make it? Ill try to make it for other plane

Blake

this really needs to be colored! also if this gets colors in a photo-realistic color scheme (colors to make it look like it was actually taken by a camera in the time area) then it would be really cool!

DarthKeidran

I’ll be using the colored version of this that Tom posted today. Just cropped and edited to remove the background. Shoot me an email to darthkeidran@icloud.com or Discord @DarthKeidran #7155 and I’ll send the files to you when done.

McClaw

Wasn't it usually LeBeau and Newkirk who went after the ladies? (And Hogan, of course.) Having Carter chase a skirt seems a bit out of character.

DarthKeidran

That could be the case, but I seem to remember an episode or two where Carter was going after the ladies. I’d have to rewatch to find it if that was the case, alas, I don’t have dufficient time to hardly keep up on the newer stuff I want to watch.

McClaw

Oh, he connected a few times, but the "first responders" were inevitably LeBeau and Newkirk.
