First, I want to say thanks to those who voted for this one. My 26th B-day was on the 13th, so this is kind of like a B-day present. Second, what a dilemma Sythe has been presented with. With Maren’s arm around his, he can’t try to figure out why his pet girlfriend is humanoid again, and on the other hand, he can risk his life and tell Maren after she wakes that because she had her arm so tightly around her new boyfriend’s arm that he couldn’t possibly have been involved in the re-Keidranification of the Nibs. Either way, he is the pooch that is screwed.

My original thought process is as follows (with parenthesis put in for context): Sythe successfully managed to get Maren into bed with him (Whether or not they got “Busy” I left up to Tom). Nibbly uses the collar, and climbs into bed with them when the latter two are asleep (Because Maren would probably not allow it if she was awake, and this way Nibs is forcing Sythe into a three way “Choose Me, Choose Her, or Try to convince her that you can have both of us” type dilemma). Sythe wakes up and is terrified that there is a girl at each arm, the one he wasn’t expecting being Nibbly (because he doesn’t really have much diplomacy experience).

I really believe that whoever the “Tan—” person Red mentions on page 842 was a Keidran who Maren either was close friends or in love with, and is a primary reason for her conscious and public apprehension towards Sythe (not wanting a repeat of history), which makes them look like a bickering couple. And that in this context, the peace is coming from being with someone like “Tan—“, who she’s gotten to know, who seems to want to be with her. Considering the last time it was Keith waking up to find himself in bed with Natani and King Adelaide, I could see how that could be interpreted as a curse (especially when they wake up). Perhaps Trace with Flora and humanoid Nora would be next?

This was a bit better explanation of the “curse”. For Mike it could be waking up between Fem!Eric and the Vixen in his dream. For Evals, he wakes up between Fem!Mike and Kathrin (since the Prank Pixie Panic hints that he has the hots for the latter) For Zen, Lilith and Raine. PreAmnesia Trace can wake between Saria and Rose. All three have a hangover headache #awkward Daniels, with Therie and Alice Reed (Not sure why I ship Reed and Daniels). Keiren between Reni (maybe humanoid) and Reed Clovis between Kitty!Nora and Brutus The ideas can go on and on.

I don't know why, but your comment just gave me an idea for a website. "Ship Tracker" Where people can add assorted fandoms and the characters within said fandom, and vote weekly for their favorite pairings of said characters on a monthly basis. E.G. Select the first person in the ship, the second, and then 3 or more are optional and added incrementally by selecting someone in the next dropdown. Then, have graphs showing each pairing and how many times each had been voted each week to show each ship's popularity. It could be beneficial for webcomic artists that haven't gotten all their story together to see what the fans do and don't like.
