Given their sense of smell and the fact that Clovis has probably not thought of masking magic, I'd say Brutus knows. Clovis is the weakest link if the booze and hormones kick-in.

TwoKinds will end not in a final battle with Clovis but the main characters walking in on Clovis as Brutus *plows* the evil right out of Clovis along with any desire to be male again. A very original and subversive ending, Tom will have started a new trope that we will see in all kinds of different media for decades to come.

As a character, I’d say he probably does have a moral compass, albeit it isn’t facing true north because of those he’s been associated with. My personal prediction… he’ll probably end up joining the main cast.

The irony here is that we've seen Clovis do most of the backstabbing firsthand. And I have a strong feeling that history will repeat itself no matter how loyal Brutus remains to them.

"Certain things" probably refers to this being after the Dragon Masquerade, so he would be female at this point. It also makes sense why he'd still be pulling his cloak so tight around him even when he's drunk off his ass and presumably in an inn.

Yeah, I don't think he's immoral, he's just too dumb to realize he's in with the wrong crowd. His sense of loyalty would actually be fairly noble if it was given to someone who deserved it.

That’s difficult… On the one hand, Clovis started out physiologically male and still identifies as such… which would make it gay… On the other hand, Clovis is now physiologically Female… which would make it straight… So, to paraphrase Wheatley…<img src="https://i.imgflip.com/37n87q.jpg">

Yes, walks in on the boss bathing or bravely protects Clovis from assassins from a rival guild who are equally confused that Clovis is female. To be frank, Clovis femininity is a weapon waiting to be taken advantage of, as a tool of distraction that is. If Natani keeps up with the Assassins life, it would be smart to consider learning to add this to to the toolbox. I know I would if I was in either of these two’s situation.

Oh, I'm sure if Brutus knew "certain things" there'd be SOME kind of stabbing going on, but whether it's in the back depends on what Clovis prefers.
