This actually makes Kat’s interest in Eric that much more tragic. My poor adorable waifu. And Nora, all you need to do is play Darth Plagueis/Sidious and create your own chosen one. You’ve shown that you don’t give a darn what the masks think, so just take some DNA from Trace and from another dragon, and Dew It!

I know that these aren’t cannon, but when you think about what Nora just said, it actually causes her affection for Trace to make sense, he is the only one who she sees as truly her equal, and it also explains why she hasn’t taken it further than “subtle” hints, because like she just said, “that’s not how I do things”

It's very interesting to hear Nora talk about love and relationships like that. She clearly wants to find someone who sees her as an equal in a relationship, because that would make it meaningful. And as for Kathrin...I don't think any of us know who she'll eventually end up with. It's doubtful that Eric will ever see her as someone other than a sister, as he doesn't want to imagine her in the other way-sees her as too important in his life for that.

Well it will end eventually but since there's probably still the journey to Lynn'knoll and the showdown with the bad guys that'll take at least a few more years, considering Tom makes about 50 pages per year now (probably a bit less, considering breaks and holidays) But not to worry, he is already making plans for the next comic. We don't know much about it, other than that it takes place in a modern-ish fantasy world and that Sam and Collin are probably going to be some of the main characters. I'm really looking forward to that one, or at least getting some more information on it.

I originally had the impression that Kat and Eric were intimate, and that Eric had backed away from her when he decided she was "family" and not appropriate as a lover, but increasingly I get the sensation that they never were, and Kat wished they were. Can anyone set me straight one way or the other?

My impression is that they were never intimate, always because he saw her as family (I believe he also referred to as a sister, so the power dynamic might not even be obvious to him)
