Can we try doing a rotating system next month where the first week we vote on sketches, the second is an all Tom Pick week, third is vote, 4th Tom Picks etc. ? Or maybe just a week where Tom doesn't stream and can take as long as he wants on all the sketches

DarthKeidran

I second that. I think it would be awesome to have Tom pick weeks.

Markvincible

Definitely, I want to see Tom draw what he wants

The sketch suggestions selected for today's stream are: #1 (Vote) Nora tries out a vixen shape. She is bending over, tail high up and looking back at Trace asking "Does this tail makes my butt look big?". Trace is not impressed. #2 (Tom pick) Cathleen telling Cornelius she’s pregnant. #3 (Vote) The awkward moment when Kei realizes that the dog he’s been petting is actually Princess Reni, who was too embarrassed/nervous to say anything. #4 (Tom pick) Nora teaching Reni and Kat on how to win over a human heart and Red blurts out how Nora never won over Trace, embarrassing Nora. #5 (Vote) Sexy tavern maiden competition: Adira and Maren compete to see who is the better tavern maiden! Karen protects Maeve's innocent eyes. [During the stream recap Tom said the winner will be determined by the most tips at the end of the night.] #6 (Vote) Brutus gets a full view of Clovis' treacherous tail. #7 (Tom pick) [To be determined – Tom couldn’t decide and was getting tired. This will be decided and completed off-line.] [Edited] Trace wades through water carrying Flora to keep her fur dry.

If she was to be outright banned from suggestions I don't think just saying "oh yeah about Laura yeah I'm not gonna draw her anymore lul" is the right way to do it (not saying that's how Tom would do it, just an admittedly exaggerated guess). Despite not appearing in a decent chunk of the comic she still had quite an impact on the story due to her fubar relationship with Keith and all the unfortunate circumstances surrounding it. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying "her death hit me in the feels" or something along those lines, and I really do mean that, she's the only character I can say that about to be honest. Anyways my point is that if she were to be banned from sketch suggestions I think she should at least get a proper send off rather than going out quietly, it's been a while since she was voted into any sketch as you pointed out, even longer since she appeared in a colored piece. She should get just one last sketch that "fits the occasion" if you will. I know this is extremely unlikely to actually happen but I think it's at least a decent compromise between Laura's fanbase and Tom. Just my 2C.

Tom, please not forget to post the full omnipoll results. On the stream it was not fully visible and it was not clear even the number of votes for the winner suggestion… something between 130 and 139 :)

Laura was part of Keith's character arc in the Basitin isles, she left there and came back again on the ship to complete the arc, it's been nearly six years since it was resolved so I can definitely understand if Tom is getting tired of drawing her.

This is a game with known rules. Until Tom explicitly said something like “no need to suggest sketches with Laura” (for example, in Google Docs form for suggestions), that means you can suggest it. And I understand the desire to see her again. She’s a very good character. After all (IMHO, of course), the two most powerful scenes and most powerful chapters of the comic are directly related to Laura. I mean the scenes on pages 762 and 595 and chapters 15 and 16, respectively (it’s a pity that the “new”, enlarged, cover of the 15th chapter does not contain animation, it losing a lot). By the way, the third most powerful scene if for Kat — page 654. So until explicit ban I will continue to suggest her because she must not be forgotten.

Love your webcomic. Maybe u can draw the Gears 5 fan art from Gears of War. That'll be cool.
