I think part of her does consent to/enjoy it, but her ingrained basitin cultural sensibilities/instincts are hard to suppress, especially when unprepared. In a similar grain, I know I’ve developed an aversion to being touched, so if this happened to me, I’d probably have a similar recoil reaction to an unexpected contact, even if I did ultimately like it. But yeah, if they weren’t where they were in their ship, it still wouldn’t be cool

Thank goodness for these sketches, because if we ever do see Maddie and Maeve together, it will probably be just for a little bit in the main story's epilogue. Maeve has some growing up to do, and Maddie has to work through heavy Basitin taboos to date another girl at all.

Oh, Keith is losing his quick. I enjoyed the scene where Lynn is trying to tell him he can't spend the night in the same room as Natani, and Keith is like "They're adjoining rooms, we're fine, GTFO." When he does, they proceed to snuggle anyway.

When you check that this is one of the cuttest ships in Twokinds... until you realize that Maeve is 8 years old, and she'll be deceased when Maddie gets 35 (cause she told us that she's 18 years old in the comic) because of the keidran ages. SO, ENJOY HER WHILE YOU STILL CAN MADDIE :3
