Really puts the "court" in "courtship". Suggested by zharis!

It's not that Basitins are completely without romance, it's just much more private and up to individuals. They're not big on public displays of affection.

That is the short version for Keidran anyway, if you are a Basitin and want to court another, it takes a few more documents, permission from the Generals, up to 3 weeks of time to process, after which you must wait up to a month for the papers to be delivered, which all require to be signed. Threefold.

AT ALL TIMES. It's the only thing I just Can't wrap my head around! Both Natani and Clovis are Characters who's Voices are so Abiguously Androgynous that they can Pass for Male without at all raising suspicions even around Particular people. Eric in Natani's case who somehow never caught on despite his Extreme Ultra attentiveness when it comes to I.D.ing Female Keidran. And All of Clovis's Men in his Guild who Should know Full well if he sounds a bit more Feminine. I really wanna know what they Sounds like just So I can satisfy my curiosity

A woman came over to my house yesterday who sounded pretty masculine, her voice is what I'd associate with Clovis. Natani is probably pretty gruff but after years of practice it's probably second nature to her.

@Ardenx Delvou: Might not fit the "androgynous" criteria, but my headcanon is currently a less evil sounding version of Wendy Powell's Envy from FMA for Natani, and Chris Ayres' Frieza voice for Clovis. As a bonus, I can't imagine anyone else but Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth, Captain Phasma) for King Adelaide.

I do,I had to change what I thought natani 's voice would be when I found out in the comic he was a actually a she. But other than that it's actually pretty fun to put your mind towards giving the characters a voice it gives them more personality

I recall reading somewhere that all Keidran (male/female) have the same pitch voice so you can't tell gender apart simply from their voices. Don't know if this is still cannon.

Actually, you're not wrong. If you check the Tom's Mekkan World Map, the East and West Basitins are flipped. Easterns are on the West side and West is on the East. I think the lore explanation is that there was some catastrophic event that led them to migrate to the opposite sides.
