Have I told you of my Lady Kathrin? A humble seamstress. A Keidran ex-slave, fostering a secret talent for magic against her masters' will. When they discovered her abilities, they tried to have her killed, but she rose up against her oppressors and slew them all. All, save one brother, whom she let live for reasons known only to the two. Then she took her fellow slaves and fled into the night. They said she wouldn't last three weeks. It has been three years. Now they call her Archmage. Leader of the Free Keidran Alliance and menace to Slavers and Templar across all Mekkan. With an army of former slaves and disenfranchised peoples of all races and creeds at her back, she storms across the land, casting down the strong and raising up the weak. Everywhere she goes, her legend grows. As does her power. Now she has come for you. The only question that remains is, where do you stand? With her? Or against her? Think carefully. There is only one right answer. Sons and daughters of Mekkan, kneel before the Archmage.

Kathrin reads the paper and lays the wounded person down. Kathrin goes Archmage Kat Mode and effectively begins a boss battle. <i>10 Minutes of Battle Later</i> A child finds herself hit by crossfire, stopping the fight, Kathrin and her foe work together to save the child before collapsing. <i>The Next Morning</i> Kathrin wakes up in a Medical Ward with multiple people who were presumably killed alive and recovering. <b>@Reese Wolf</b> This one legitimately got too far out of hand when writing it. I've got two reasons why that I can think of: 1. I've been stuck at home instead of at work for the past 3 weeks because of the way work handles any potentially medically related issues, which makes it so I actually can make a comment. 2. Because I haven't been busy with really anything, my creativity wound up being channeled here, which can result in the aforementioned Wall of Text. I'm going to try harder to avoid making them 5 friggin pages long (or longer than 1 if i'm gonna be honest). I can't remember who it was, but I might have to do what one of the other commenters is and post jumbo sized ones on Deviantart, TLDR that stuff and provide a link.
