Nora sunbathes during a cool early morning. I hope I managed to paint it to look like morning, it took me quite a few tries to hopefully get it right.

Damn, I've got to come back and download this one for desktop.

ThirdKind

Very artistic I like it. Good work.

DiDiDi-X

That is the most beautiful lakeside view I've ever seen in my life. *nose bleed*

Bryan S.

I think the fog totally helps with that!

James Vineyard

Looks less sunbathing, more reminiscing of old times.

Rosenkavalier

Very graceful, and the light is amazing! :)

Tharkis

so pretty, love the serene foggy lake and the color on the trees

Gerudo72

This is absolutely gorgeous!

Incredibly beautiful!

Let me just pick my jaw off the floor here...

You forgot "never" in that sentence but same. Tom's great.

Wow, there's something about Nora's expression in this one. In so many other sketches she has this look in her eyes, like she's plotting her next three steps at all times. But here she's just... being. It's like she's finally dropped her guard. Very refreshing take! Also, hey, Tom! If drawing cute fuzzy folk doesn't work out, you could always go into landscape art, lol. Beautifully detailed piece! The mist rolling off the lake and forest and the way the sunlight catches in it is just stunning! Thanks for your hard work, as always.

Thomas Fischbach

Thanks! Nora had a more schemerly look when I started, but I softened it up during the painting process to match the more mellow scene.

Estragon

Looks like the misty mountain sunlight I fondly remember from the Blue Ridge mountains. Beautiful.

AstroChaos

A good call, it would have been out of place here I think

AstroChaos

Cool and yet warm and amazingly serene...

Kirien Fost

Bob Ross's landscape is strong in this one! :P But in all honesty, gosh darn, that BG looks amazing!

Roughlandin

It really fits the scene! Thanks again!

Andrew Copsey

Thx for the new computer background

JasonAW3

She looks so beautiful, yet so lonely...

What a beautiful, crisp mountain morning... Stunning work Tom. Nora's expression, more the contemplation of a millenia old being than the smug trickster, just fits this so well... like she's taken a morning away from civilization to just enjoy the planet and think for a bit.
