I noticed that on the comic site, that the book's cover when zoomed in shows what looks like Flora holding something in a blanket. Does that mean the wait until she gives birth is going to be longer than we thought.

Yes, and she starts aging like a human because on that third floor was a failed super soldier immortality serum that dark trace was working on that has the side effect when used on a Keidran of them and their offspring aging like humans instead of being immortal. Maybe that's why on the ship Nora told Trace to spend his time with Flora, cause she knew about this fountain of Keidran Youth.

Looks like meteors are going to come out of the sky and destroy the world. Then again, as stated in his art book, he changes the script every now and then so I take this with a grain of salt. Absolutely great art + request though.

In all seriousness though, not only can I see Flora on the "Vol. 9" cover but also falling meteors and possibly a standoff between two people a la the "Revenge of the Sith" poster. If Vol. 9 is meant to be the final volume, I think it's safe to assume that Natani and Kat will at least survive up until then.

I like these drawings because I view it as the epilogue to the story. Things that will probably never happen in the comic but could be possible afterwards.
