Because it follows the "i" before "e" rule. Weird doesn't and she got that wrong. Hmm same with leisure. We'll it's more like a guideline.

I hear you, and mostly I agree. Spelling tests are hardly an indicator of intelligence. It's conformity imposed for clarity's sake, which is alright when put in its place. Our wretched schools are good at making us conform but bad at making us intelligent, and we should honor people who bring good sense to everyday life, however they earned that sense.

A "D" is still passing tho.The only grade that isn't passing is an "F".An "A" is Passing,A "B" is Passing but could use a little work,A "C" is Passing but could use some work,A "D" is Passing but could use a lot of work,An "F" is failing and... well you failed.ALSO THE TEACHER SUCKS AND DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO GRADE CORRECTLY AN 8/14 IS A 57.14%(straight A's for extended math in freshman year people)AND A 57.14% IS AN "F" SO THEREFORE FLORA GOT A "D" BECAUSE THE AMERICAN LAW STATES IF AN EDUCATOR MAKE A MISTAKE ITS FINAL(finished Civics and economics with a 424 on an SOL(still passing tho))
