this is very cool (and one of my all time fav statements), but i will say that as an archivist I flinched at every "post-it" note i saw on the historic letter. Adhesive on fragile paper stock is the true horror here lol

I assumed that the blue frame around the document was meant to be some sort of plastic sleeve/pocket and that Jon was sticking post-its to it, not directly onto the paper itself. (That doesn't make it much better as plastic sleeves also aren't good for old paper :P - cheers from a philologist who spent a lot of time in actual historical archives and was schooled on the proper procedures...)

i didn't even notice the (off-gassing!) enclosure, i was so focused on the sticky notes!! XDDD (cheers to all of us who labor with delicate paper!)

Love the special look of this one!

Loved the inclusion of the Forrest. Having spent some time in Germany I can say without a doubt they the older Forrest’s are dense a and foreboding.

Awww, the post-its covering some of the words! :D (And Jon relying on Tim's expertise...) It still cracks me up that Jonah had Very Loud Opinions about the German Confederation :D
