Video Production Update November 22nd 2020 (Patreon)

Hey everyone. It's great seeing all the positive reception the Overblood 2 video got. We still have 3 more videos to get done from the last vote however. Ratchet 2, Ninja Gaiden 3 and God of War Ascension - in that order.

I've sort of been working on all three a little bit. This is sort of my attempt to still do the same amount of work while putting off being in the edit again too soon. Overblood 2 was a pretty long video is I got a little burnt out looking at Adobe Premiere day-in/day-out everyday.

Out of all 3, the Ratchet 2 video is the one that's the furthest along and it hopefully will only be a few more days before I'm back in the edit for that.

I don't expect any 3 of these videos to surpass the 30 minute mark, so it's possible they may still all see release before year's end, though GoW may escape into early 2021.

That would put Ratchet 2 at the end of this month/early December and Ninja Gaiden 3 at sometime in mid-December. Again, these are all estimates provided nothing gets in the way.

If things go phenomenally well I might be able to eek out another Insider video before the end of the year too, but we'll see. Like a lot of people right now, I'm trying to figure out if it will be plausible to get one of those new consoles before year's end.

Once all 3 of these remaining videos are done, or perhaps just before GoW's release, I'll be posting the next poll for 5 dollar backers. This will be a list of the next 4 videos and you'll be able to pick their order of release.

I'll say that one of the videos up for picking will be Kingdom Hearts 1, which will kick off the Kingdom Hearts Retrospective you funded earlier this year.

There's also the potential for a more topical video I might release between the 2 voting blocks, but I'll have to see about that later down the line. For now I'm gonna get back to these 3 videos. I think all of them have some really fun insight and I look forward to sharing it with you. Ratchet 2 is especially exciting because I'm finally gonna be wrapping up my Ratchet takes, spanning years of videos, by covering the only main game I haven't done yet.

See you soon!
