Video Production Update December 8th 2020 (Patreon)

Sorry for 2 back to back production updates. I get the feeling it comes off a bit like a sandwich with just bread.

Felt like I should offer up a quick update however since I've had to change my plans a little.

I've been feeling a bit sick the last week so I've been unable to do any audio recording. Instead I decided to focus on writing to keep productive while I get back to feeling more myself. Here's how each current project is going so far:

Ratchet 2:

Game Footage Recording - 100% Complete

Script - 100% Complete

Voice Over - 0% Complete

Editing - 0% Complete

Ninja Gaiden 3:

Game Footage Recording - 100% Complete

Script - 90% Complete (Draft Complete, Needs Double Checking)

Voice Over - 0% Complete

Editing - 0% Complete

God of War: Ascension:

Game Footage Recording - 100% Complete

Script - 90% Complete (Draft Complete, Needs Double Checking)

Voice Over - 0% Complete

Editing - 0% Complete

All game footage has been captured for the next 3 videos. Ratchet 2 is ready for voice recording while the other 2 videos have complete scripts, but just need a few re-reads and double-checks before I can record the audio.

Hopefully this will mean a series of back to back videos released close together, which will make for a nice change of pace for the channel I think. I want to apologise though if Ratchet 2 is gonna end up taking a little bit longer than I first estimated. I'm happy with the script though, I think it's gonna make for an interesting piece. All the game footage is off original PS2 hardware as well so there's been no expense spared in getting the video looking as authentic as possible.

I shall endeavour to create another Dino Crisis Backlog with Brit episode shortly, since a lot of you seemed to have enjoyed part 1 and I'm itching to play more of that game!

I would have liked to perhaps have made another Insider Review this month but haven't played anything too modern lately. I guess there's Hades, but I haven't played enough to pass any kind of judgment yet. I'd like to play the new Spider-Man game but would like to play on PS5, a system which I haven't been able to obtain yet. I'm not the only one in that situation it would seem.

Anyway, I'll see you all soon!
