Lol I definitely don’t really agree with how sage is written at times, but I mean, the smartest person can predict a lot of things, but not if emotional decisions come in to play. Which is exactly what happened with Soldier Boy. He made an emotional decision which fucked up Sage’s play

I'm writing this before hitting play, lol. I've been theorizing for a while now that being the smartest person on the planet would mean NEVER getting involved, at least directly, with anyone, because they are still human at the end of the day, and everyone's powers have a drawback of some kind. In this universe, there are soooo many duplicate powers, but they each have slight variations, and with the wall of psychics, I was wondering why Sage didn't have a form of psychic anything, but then I realized I was attaching other superhero mediums to her character, and took a step back and thought: What is Sage's drawback? And my answer proved my theory when they introduced her. She only has smarts and no super strength or external powers, so for her to be OP for what she has, she would have to do what she wanted to do, which was be secluded. Because the minute she started to help Homelander, that to me is when it slowly started going downhill, because her powers are logic-based, and she is surrounded by emotional people, and being around that as the smartest person has to be mentally draining. I feel like she nerfed herself over time, and then she got REAL excited by this episode and was celebrating too early, but I think everyone is rubbing off on her, but she can't see it. Sage's character is very much an up in the air, for the plot to move kinda character TO ME, but this is a fucked up supe world, so characters that would make sense won't because otherwise it wouldn't The Boys lols but I think her character could've been written a lil better. Black Noir..................... HOW TF YOU LET THE DEEP SNEAK YOU LIKE THAT? YOU KNOW WHAT TYPE OF TIMING HE'S ON, AIN 'T NO WAY. 🤬
