ixi sings: "A Warm Place" improv (Patreon)

I recorded this on Christmas Eve when I had 200 subscribers. I didn't post it on YouTube. My voice is the hardest thing for me to share with others for lots of reasons (I'm sure many of you can relate!) but I'll let you all hear it, as humble thanks for supporting me these past 2 months. I hope you know that I would not be able to make videos of this length and quality and depth every week without you. I started the TDS series alone, but I am finishing it in no small part because of you. Thank you for believing in me and what I'm doing.A little background on how I recorded it: My mic was new to me and I was playing around it with late one night when all my housemates were gone. I put on this epic reverb and got the idea to vocalize the plucky, almost bell-like melody of A Warm Place. I recorded my own version of the chords first, then recorded the vocals after. I imagined myself in a big cathedral with pink stained glass, closed my eyes, and just went with it. It was really meditative. I hope it brings you a little peace.
