In my quest to get back to consistent weekly analysis videos, and to have the opportunity to analyze a wider range of music and artists, I'm going to try out a new series in October, and Patrons get a front row seat. I'll analyze a song in realtime each week on YouTube Live, while continuing to work on my higher production value videos.

Every Sunday at 2:00pm Central Standard Time starting 10/3 I'll go live, analyze a song, and improvise on what I've learned! 🎹

The 2nd Sunday of the month I'll analyze an indie or underrated artist that I think is deserving of more listens.

The last Sunday of the month will be a Patron-chosen song, so if you're a Patron (any level), look out for polls each month to vote!

The livestreams will mostly be Patron-access only in October, with links posted on Patreon and Discord, but I'm going to invite the public to one of them!

At the end of October, I'll ask for your feedback, assess the series, and maybe continue it into 2022. I'm excited to give it a spin! What do you think of this idea? ~ixi

p.s. Because of your amazing support, I was just able to purchase a high quality second webcam for the front view (in addition to the top down keyboard view) so that I'm not using my crappy computer webcam anymore. It's time to level up! Thank you :)

They'll all be watchable after the fact?

I hope so. This sounds great but in the UK I doubt I'll be able to participate live.

Can’t wait to see what’s on the polls.

2pm CST - I thought that was about 8pm in the UK?

We might have to do 2 polls to narrow it down! :)

ixi music

Yes! (Unless the YouTube Gods get angry and block them. It happens occasionally with certain copyrights. )

You are not an idiot - you were just "time challenged" for a moment ;) I'm glad you might be able to make it!
