This is a slow one, but one that was necessary for me. It was fun to get into this material that was originally released leading up to Trench. We do cross a bit into Scaled and Icy with a few of the letters as well as Clancy, but nothing that felt like a spoiler. If anything it fueled my fire to see what those albums have in store! Enjoy!

When was this livestream? I totally missed any notifications

It was just spontaneous. Ended about 30 minutes ago. Did it send any alerts that it was starting? It’s supposed to 🫤

Ah i just missed the live when i woke up 😫 Might be a bit of a long comment so i‘ll try to be organized about it. How we received the letters: The website was first found in April 2018, we actually don’t know when exactly we could’ve found it cause it wasn’t announced through any official channels. The url was hidden in a gif of the merch store. There were like 6 posts up at that time. Over the next months we got more and more entries. The moon dates of the early entries all correspond to important dates to twenty one pilots (for example the first entry 988 06MOON 18 is Josh’s birthday June 18th 1988). With the letter that describes the jumpsuit mv the dates correspond to date the letters have been released. So we got them one by one, helping us understand music videos or giving us background to the Scaled and Icy livestream experience (which is described in the letter where Clancy is forced to write and perform). Hidden codes: If you don’t plan on watching a video about it, but still wanna learn more about the letters and dmaorg, i suggest going through the timeline of the twenty one pilots wiki. You found 2 letters with codes (the one with missing letters and the cheetah gif) but there is more to be found! AI errors: The word that you couldn’t read in the first letter is „Keons“, the name of Clancy’s bishop. And the scrambled letters with error pointing upwards spell „seize Keons“. That’ll make sense once you‘ve watched the SAI mvs. There is no Nexus in the lore and i have no clue how you would get Nico with the „scrambled“ letters. I‘m sure you know that AI will just hallucinate aka make up stuff when it doesn’t know the answer. As you’re not that deep into all the lore it can be hard to know for you to know if you’re given real answers or if the AI is just confused and makes stuff up. Again, i would suggest the twenty one pilots wiki instead of using AI if you’re unsure. Here’s the link https://twentyonepilots.fandom.com/wiki/Dmaorg.info#Timeline Theories: As you now know, the dmaorg letters and posts are incredible to give us more context on how the world looks, how Dema is built, how Clancy is feeling. But at the same time, sometimes we get more new questions than answers. „Is Tyler Clancy“ is still a hot debate und the fandom is a bit divided on this topic. I‘m a firm believer that Tyler plays the character of Clancy in every lore mv and the 3rd person description is just a result of an out of body experience. I tried not to write toooo much, if you have any more questions we‘re happy to help you out!

Always feel free to write! Thank you. Yeah, AI sucks with lore 😂 I may hop on in an hour or so and do a part 2 using the wiki!

I don’t think it sent any alerts for this stream 😟. I’m in the same time zone as you and I was up and still missed! Bummer! I wasn’t part of the clique leading up to Trench era though and only dug into all of this deep lore stuff about two years ago myself, so not sure I would’ve been much help anyway! lol Glad you have other members who can share their stories of how to decode it all! As you are getting into Scaled and Icy keep in mind that we were introduced to much of it through the livestream experience. It helps put in perspective some of the reason they shifted the style of the music as it’s quite a different vibe from Trench. It’s hard to find a full video as I don’t think they’ve officially made it available after it happened. Your format of going through each song individually is still the best way to appreciate each one imo. If you can’t watch it though and after you hear the music, Stolen Potential on YouTube has a great video that points out all the Easter Eggs from the livestream.

I was wrong.. there were notifications, I just didn’t have them turned on for Patreon like I thought I did. Hopefully I’ll catch the next one now that I fixed it!
