This was fun! I had never seen this small stage series video before so thanks for that! On the official video I think that they actually did create the window in the submarine to look like Dema so that’s a good catch! There’s also a fun behind the scenes footage of this video.

I think you've probably figured out more since you filmed this as you re-read the dmaorg documents, but basically this is after Clancy has done his 'tv variety show' for Dema, and he is playing for the 'great and good' of Dema for an annual assembly. Torchbearer is with him. Trash crashes into the sub (we know how from The Outside mv) allowing Clancy to escape, and then he washes up on Voldsoy. Josh/Torchbearer trying to fix the leaks with a little bit of tape is quite comical! And yes, he makes the X he wears on his shirt. I always find it interesting that Clancy does an action like a serpent swimming before Trash actually shows up. It's an important little detail that at the time I don't think we really understood the full significance of. Same with the multiple Trash's on the sea floor....has this happened before? Did Clancy knew what was going to happen? ;-) As Rebecca said the 'Beyond the video' series for this era are good fun.

Josh said they borrowed the Submarine from Will Smith. 😂
