Thank you for this double reaction! If I had known that this concert was going to be this good, I would have done everything I could to be able to hop on a plane and be there myself. I like watching Kanami's face in this video, knowing that she had written this song so many years earlier with the dream of being able to play it in the biggest arena in her home town of Yokohama. Her dream came true that night, and I'm so happy for her. Some people used to call Saiki the ice queen - unthinkable! No ice here.

You're next livestream watch-along should be the DVD from the Yokohama Arena show.... I'll be there if you do.

It’s been decades since a band made me this happy

Yes Saiki was once called the Ice Queen, but in reality is quite the opposite. She has a very tender side, and is straightforward. Also the Yokohama Arena has been their dream for quite a while, especially Kanami, who is from Kanagawa prefecture (being Yokohama it's capital), and she had her family attending the concert: unfortunately her grandma (her first supporter, and kinda a familiar figure to others band members too) passed away before this show. Soon after, in 2024, their album Epic Narratives where the songs Forbidden Tale and The One, can't help thinking were influenced by her loss..
