Gracie makes me tear up every time. Not because I have a daughter but because it makes me think of my Dad. I think the performance with Ben Folds Five was one of their reunion tours (they split in 2000 and then did some stuff together sometimes in later years with another album in 2012 I think it was, but then a hiatus became a full stop to the band. So, all that to say the band were playing Ben's song from his solo projects, so they might not have been as familiar with it as the old songs.

He played Still Fighting It (the one for Louis) when I went to see him fall of 2024. My oldest son was a senior in high school and this one live hit me hard that night.

I've seen him three times in concert. Just simply amazing live performer. The way he effortlessly ad-libs some parts make it different every time you see him. Plus the interactions with the crowd are great. The most memorable one was in Chicago at the Vic where he ended up doing a whole drum solo and his glasses flew off.
