So did Harry lose? I was kind of expecting him to win given that as much as I love Daphne I really don't think she deserves a win here but alright I guess.

Harry has been paying attention. Point 1: He's right that Daphne's logic is solid. If you accept the statements it's made from, her result is correct. Point 2: Harry does not accept the statements. He understands them. There's a very real difference. Point 3: The duel isn't over yet folks. His own reply, having analyzed what Daphne is doing, will arrive soon enough.

It's not really clear to me whether that was a cliffhanger, if he lost the duel and it's a fade to black thing, or if only part of the chapter was posted.

Whether Daphne's conclusions about Susan are accurate is irrelevant. What's relevant is Susan letting herself get emotionally wrecked by a few sentences. Daphne is right that such weakness going to be exploited by more unsavory parties and may get her killed.
