Well this is a pleasant surprise!

Ancient_Red_Dragon

Wow what a treat, I know the new movie gets some hate but I just enjoyed it for sort of embracing the insanity and cheesiness of the original. I did enjoy the newer one having a different take but keeping most of the same beats.

jim Howe

I'll happily watch the first but I refuse to watch anything with that scummy little toe-rag Mcgregor.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Ay nice out of nowhere drop! The new movie makes me feel out of shape just looking at the poster haha

Chase Lonnergan

Poor George... Simone got to be the REAL Dalton in the thumbnail. The fun, quotable, entertaining Dalton. George ended up with the OTHER Dalton. That's like being the 1994 TriStar Godzilla.

“Be nice…until it’s time to not be nice”

TomGas2025

Oh come on...that's a bit harsh...the Remake isbquite entertaining. The Original is also not really an abundance of originallity and creativity. It' s entertaining and that's it.

TomGas2025

Just hearing Road House makes me hate my body...but thats because my upper body is weirdly long than my lower body. I believe my ancestor ancestor ancestor genes are too strong.

Kangdarius

Will peep the first. Haven’t watched the remake and don’t know if I will. My mom rolled her eyes when I asked her if it’s good or not. That doesn’t bode well lol

Gatsby

Please watch Cloud Atlas 🥹

Guy-on-Couch

You have to go into it with an open mind...cannot compare every detail to the original...it definitely has some weak moments but overall I think it was an entertaining movie...not as bad as I thought it would be

Dwight Scarn

A cool double feature would be the original Fright Night movie and the remake. Classic 80s vampire movie with an underrated remake with Colin Farell.

Nate Gavin

Thanks for the extra effort in making the reaction. Never seen the original, but agree with George, the first one seemed more put together. The second one flashier but I probably won't remember it after awhile. Still entertaining though.

William Burnham

The fight trainer in the first film is one of the baddies in Grosse Point Blank

Guy-on-Couch

I love the original and the new one was actually better than I thought it would be...I actually liked Conor's character too...he was over the top for sure and he's not an actor and it shows but I like how he was written...like he's nuts...I was cracking up when he just rolls up with a student driver car and just crashes..in fact he crashes into things in everything he is driving lol

Alec S

The blind guitar player in the original Road House shoud make you guys proud, he's Canadian born and bred. He lost eyesight when he was just 1 year old, but managed to make quite a name for himself playing rock and blues in the 80s and 90s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Healey

E. D.

the thumbnail lmao, I want to see simone´s reactions to those

Troy Ross

I used to watch the Sackett movies with my dad and have real good association with them. Tom Selleck was the other brother. Jubal and Tell Sackett?

Frank Biondo

You two missed the extra scene during the credits!

evilmunky

you guys need to see Grosse Point Blank still.

Happy Hanukkah

4:38 Gilmore Girls? Never heard of them. I do know Kathleen Wilhoite made her debut in the classic Private School (1983), which will undoubtedly be reacted to Real Soon Now. :-P

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

Sick! Have y’all done reactions/comparisons to original movies and there remakes yet? I was hoping when y’all got around to finishing the new “Dune” you’d watch the ‘84 “Dune”, preferably the “spidediver” fan edit as it’s easily available on Youtube and attempts to tell the story more completely than the original release. This is a fun surprise as others have said.

Jeff K

This is completely unrelated to anything, outside of this '80s cult classic starring a giant heartthrob making me think of it: if you guys haven't seen Real Genius, would love to see that added to the mix at some point. I feel like Val Kilmer is one of the most slept on comedic actors of that era, because he doesn't LOOK like he should be as funny as he is.

ThePVO

That anyone thought they could/should remake a Rowdy Herrington film is blasphemous. Though I always held out hope for a Road House/Highlander mashup.

Hamesque

I can't believe they spent all that money photo-shopping my body onto Jake Gyllenhlal.

Spacecat44

Simone's face photoshopped onto Patrick Swayze's body is making me feel weird things and I don't appreciate it, George

Alex Ch

The thing about the first Road House is that it doesn’t quite fit in any set of expectations except every 1970s and 1980s B movie in a blender. Maybe Big Trouble In Little China is the closest?

Dazzler & Em

Thank you Simone and George for giving up your free time for some extra content. Really good reaction.

MPH

I refuse to watch the new Roadhouse for the same reason I won't pay for a Jake Paul fight or click on an ESPN article. I don't want to encourage them. Sometimes I lack click discipline but not today.

Pepijn Schmitz

There's a Roadhouse 2024?! My god, they really have run out of all ideas.

sarCC

Daniela Melchior is really good in The Suicide Squad, which is also one of the few actually great movies from the recent DC superhero movies. It and Birds Of Prey are genuinely fun, funny, and entertaining movies with pitch perfect performances. I highly recommend them.

Pepijn Schmitz

I would have been interested to see Simone's heart rate on this one.

Danika Silva

personally i just watched the first part

Lee Meehan

This is just the direction of movies and tv shows this weather, rehash a good thing until its void of what made it good in the first place. The first roadhouse fun, original, new roadhouse the less said the better.

RabidMango

Nightcrawler. NIGHTcrawler. nightCRAWLER. night cralwer. nite caughler.

Moni Castaneda

I watched it and I'm kinda conflicted on one hand it's a great movie with great acting, on the other hand, WORST... X-MEN... MOVIE EVER... it barely resembles the comic book character

Astraeos

Even worse, it has notorious burn out, criminal and most likely rapist, Connor McGregor. As soon as I saw that POS was in this movie and plastered all over the advertising I resolved I would never, ever watch it. Original is definitely kind of a classic and there's not many a people more "cool" out there than Patrick Swayze. Also, maybe its just me, but I really struggle to buy Gyllenhall as this super buffed up sort of Action Movie star. Same way that I can't buy John Krazinski in his action roles, like at all. It's weird, but some actors really do get sort of type cast in your own head.
