The last weekly polls winner was Face/Off, which will be available this Saturday.Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Soul is criminally underrated :)

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

How To Train Your Dragon 2 is one of the best sequels ever. Then the third is fantastic as well

Gary Poussard

Please do The Simpsons movie! 😁

silverarrow06

I want "Soul" to win, as it is one of my all-time pixar favorite, but I'm totally fine with them to finally continue with the httyd franchise...🙂

Sam

The fact that you always wait this long between sequals, like with httyd, is the one thing that really bothers me about the way you watch stuff. It would be great if u would just watch the movie series and not wait months/years inbetween until you have forgotten most of what happend in the prior film/s.

paul rai

I want to start championing Mary & Max (2008) for an animated film poll vote. It stars Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Toni Collette. It’s an indie stop-motion film that deals with a lot of heavy thematic issues (life’s purpose, depression, Asperger’s, anxiety, isolation, parental trauma) but is so beautiful, funny, and heartfelt about friendship and being okay with yourself. If anyone who sees this comment hasn’t seen it, please try and see it. It’ll impact you more than you’ll expect. And hopefully it can be considered for a future poll.

Michael

For future animation films: The Triplets of Belleville. It’s a fantastic film.

Duncan

''Watership Down (1978)'' Animated

tom david johansen

When you watch httyd2, do it in same room, Simone might need a shoulder or 2

FWPJR.

Well the one I voted for is in dead last and definitely won’t win, but it’s the only one I’ve seen out of all these. But I’m sure others will be happy with whatever movie wins, so that’s good for the others that voted.

FWPJR.

Please do the first Toy Story or the animated Lion King ( or just any classic Disney movie made before the 2000’s ) those were my two favorites that I still love as a grown man. I would really love to see you two react to them. But if I was a betting man, I’d bet Simone has seen both of them

PickettsChargingPort

Wow. This time I’m really stunned. I thought everyone liked Hotel Transylvania. How to train your dragon is the better choice. I’m just surprised how few votes ‘Hotel..’ got.

Senec

Up Wall-E The Brave Little Toaster

Random Nevermind

Two animated movies for the next poll (I hope) When the Wind Blows, 1986 Up!, 2009 Also why Up is not in that poll? Was it watched earlier?

David Pieper

Oh man! Soul is such a great movie. And neither of you have seen it.

Zhivko Yakimov

I am glad that How to Train Your Dragon 2 has an early lead, it is indeed one of the best sequels of an animated movie. A couple of suggestions for future consideration: The Animatrix (2003) - an anthology of short animated films taking place in The Matrix setting. One of the stories provides an explanation how the world came that way Love, Death + Robots - an anthology format again, three seasons of short animated movies about all kinds of topics, though mostly focused on the three keywords. Some of these shorts are simply an outstanding technical achievement, and there is a lot of humour Persepolis (2007) - an adaption of the graphic novel with the same name, telling the story of a young woman during the Islamic Revolution in Iran. A very thought-provoking story, and difficult to watch at times Time Masters (1982) - a touching sci-fi tale about a boy being the lone survivor on a dangerous planet. The original title is Les Maitres du Temps (it is a French production), in case it is easier to find that way. I watched this as a kid, it brings back a lot of memories :) Blue Eye Samurai (2023) - I liked it a lot more than I expected, it is the story of a half-European/half-Japanese samurai in 17th century Japan, after the Sakoku edict. It is most definitely animation for adults, and it may be difficult to edit because of all the gore and occasional nudity, but the hype about it is well deserved Also, it is very sad that Japanese studios are very harsh on copyright, otherwise I suppose there will be a tonne of animated movies to pick from.

Raymond DeGraw

Looking forward to watching along with Face/Off... Here is my list hopefuls for future reactions. 1. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) 2. The Game 3. Labyrinth 4. Falling Down 5. Alita Battle Angel

RipTheRipper

Sad to see Soul is already so far behind...such a beautiful story

David Crabtree

Recommendation for future animation: Transformers: The Movie (1986)

Matthew Richson

Again, HIGHLY recommend Rango for a future movie. It’s got quite a few people from the Pirates movies on it. NTM it’s just plain gorgeous as far as animation goes.

RipTheRipper

Requests: - Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) - Lisa Frankenstein (2024) - Breaking Away (1979) - Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) - Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) - Sunshine Cleaning (2008)

King_Panarisi

- Up - Lilo and Stitch - Sausage Party - The Green Hornet (2011)

The Gunslinger

Please give Coraline a watch. It's absolutely fantastic! Speaking of animated films. One you should definitely check out is Rango.

Mr. Writhms

"Vampire Hunter D” (1985, animated)

Florian

To much good stuff, bit I have great love for Soul

Jacob King

Voted for Coraline. I’m probably the wrong age for the rest of these. The animated movie I’d be most excited to see you guys tackle is Onward. Also, Nimona, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Mitchells Vs The Machines and (just because I’m a sadist) The Plague Dogs.

lovemoose

The long awaited poll for me :') i hope httyd 2 wins!!

Ricardo Alanis

Your Name for sure for a future poll!

Andrew Hussey

For the next animated film I would highly recommend a Japanese one bu the name "I want to eat your pancreas", I know, I know it sounds bizarre, but seriously, you'll be in tears by the end, absolutely beautiful film.

Christina Doxstader

I'd love to see a Simpson's Movie reaction simply because I haven't seen one from other reactors but how familiar with the show is Simone because if she isn't too familiar I think she wouldn't get the humor

Tim T—

I propose The Lord of the Rings (1978). I don’t know if fantasy is your thing, it’s made after a book series by an Oxford Don called Tolkien. Possibly it is too heavy stuff for such young whippersnappers. This movie is animated. I don’t know if you even can film The Lord of the Rings as live-action – how would you display the height differences for an example? And where would you find the nature to stand in as middle-earth in our industrialised world? Maybe animated is the best choice.

MR

May I recommend "Fantastic Mr. Fox" (2009) for the next poll?

Michael Johnson

Should do "9", a really cool post- apocalyptic animated film

DemNikoArt

Yes, Cloudy!!! It's Lord & Miller and It's amazing 😃 C'mon people!

Rhiannon

I absolutely love Moana - it's a comfort movie for me, although I cry at least once (usually twice) every time I watch it.

Kevin

Please consider these movies: Old school I love you man Pineapple Express Minority report This is 40 Prisoners Kingpin I now pronounce you chick and Larry Sausage party Horrible bosses Wreck it Ralph Gangs of New York American beauty The revenant Shutter island 12 years a slave Wedding singer Hall pass Crash Blades of glory Hot tub Time Machine The internship Big daddy Saving Silverman Hitch The breakup Casino Grandmas boy Heavyweights Role models Knocked up Batman forever Sherlock Holmes Nightcrawler Emperors new groove The town Ted 2 A million ways to die in the west Forgetting Sarah marshall Knives out Wall E Shallow Hal

jmundt33a

Moana and HTTYD 2 are the class of this poll.

Opti_Frog

But... but... Your Name?

G P

The Game The Man Who Wasn't There Miller's Crossing Barry Lyndon Eyes Wide Shut 12 Monkeys The Royal Tenenbaums Dollars Trilogy

Dirge Girl

The Bob's Burgers Movie (2022)

sarCC

Not animated, but I'm recommending You're Next. While it is kind of a more humorous take on home invasion thrillers(like The Strangers or the first The Purge movie), I don't think you necessarily need to have watched any of those beforehand. You're Next is extremely effective and very satisfying, with one of my most favorite protagonists of all-time. While it does have some scary moments, it's well-worth powering through because it kicks so much ass.

Wrencher86

Coraline is very, very good. Hope George gets a chance to see it at some point. I would also recommend Rango as an addition to future animated polls. It's a lot of fun, surprisingly poignant and looks astounding.

David N

I'm a bit sad that coraline isn't going to win, but i'm grateful the simpsons movie didn't just run away with it. Would hate if simmones first impressions of the show was from that movie.

nossieboy

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs was surprisingly hilarious. Was not a fan of the Simpsons Movie unfortunately.

John

A future animated movie suggestion for a poll. Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH

Logan Kerlee

Won't lie, I'm a tidge disappointed that this list doesn't include any anime. Don't get me wrong though!! I love me some western animation - I'd of liked to vote for some eastern animation is all. :) No worries though! Hopefully next time the list may include some anime titles.

Joey Jo Jo JR Shabadoo

coralline is really great, id also recommend Kubo and the two strings from Laika as well in the future, probably the most visually stunning stop motion movie in my opinion :)

Stewart Denew

I'll throw in some suggestions of other animated ones; Wallace & Gromit (all of them), Chicken Run, Flushed Away.. Okay, anything Aardman really Watership Down Paranorman Mrs Frisby & the Rats of NIMH

Gary Trousdale

Did they already watch Iron Giant? Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are a couple of Hiyao Miyazaki’s best. Also Wreck-It Ralph and Book of Life (pretty sure they saw Coco), and Lilo and Stitch are all excellent. Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs is really the only one on this list that I’m interested in.

My name is Jere

Moana is on My top 5 Disney(Animated) movie ever. The rock has lowkey perfect Voice for Voice acting.

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

Would be happy for most of these but am particularly glad that HtTYD2 is leading at the moment. Would love it if y’all eventually got to some of the older Dreamworks animated movies like “The Prince of Egypt” or “El Dorado”. And for a recent stop motion flick, Del Toro’s take on “Pinocchio” was excellent. And I’ll finish with a nod for Studio Cartoon Saloon, in particular their trilogy of animated movies based on Irish folklore: “The Secret of Kells”, “Song of the Sea”, and “Wolfwalkers”.

Huckleberry lobo

Would love for you guys to react to more Peter Jackson like Frighteners (1996)

NareikAC

This is a skip for me, i hate animated shit

Dan Holmes

where's Sausage Party?

Kyle Fleming

I think I’m one of the 39 people on earth that doesn’t like the “how to train your dragon” franchise but it’s cool, I’ll get something else next time.

Eversharpe

I would like to suggest Nimona 2023 as a movie that came out of nowhere and stole my heart.

Skyruff Creative

Heavy Metal (1981) and Batman : mask of the phantasm (1993) Siskel and Ebert dedicated a special episode to apologize for not taking this movie seriously as it’s animated and gave it two thumbs up.

Lex Kuzma

Hey I'm going to use this thread to nominate two completely unrelated films, both Val Kilmer classics that I don't think you've done: Top Secret and Real Genius.

Alex Ch

I think this is a pretty strong poll, even if it’s definitely entirely all-ages or family films - I would expect all of these to win against different competition. “As always, just because it doesn’t win now doesn’t mean it won’t be watched eventually.” Hopefully, this will be one where many of these do make the eventual schedule.

Tyler L

Some movies I'd love to see you guys react to: • Almost Famous • Annihilation • Prisoners • Doctor Sleep • The Place Beyond The Pines • The Witch • The Lighthouse

Salleban

Here is some movies that based on a true story. Maybe a poll for some of these? -JFK -Snowden -Patriots Day -Bohemian Rhapsody -Captain Phillips -The Pianist -Into the Wild

Life in the cave of Garanoga

Soul probably won't win but is worth watching at some point. That movie is an existential crisis in cartoon form lol. Some movie that maybe aren't so popular or thought of often.... SLC Punk Almost Famous (Someone else posted this one also, it's a gem) For Love of the Game (Kevin Costner's best baseball movie. I'll fight anyone over this) Caveman's Valentine (Peak Samual L Jackson) Ghost Dog (Forest Whitaker at his finest and a phenomenal soundtrack from The RZA.)

Colin Reid

Watership Down, 1978, possibly the most brutal children’s film ever made. And it’s about rabbits.

China Andronicus

Coraline is so damn good! I hope you get to it eventually. I also agree with multiple posters that Secret of NIMH should be watched at some point, and the Road to El Dorado and Wallace and Gromit: the Curse of the Were Rabbit are also amazing.

FranciscoGios

I’m a grown up and I liked the How to Train Your Dragon series of films.

Sir Dongle

A few possible suggestions: - Space Jam ('96) - The Mitchells Vs The Machines - Goofy Movie - Osmosis Jones - Fantastic Mr Fox - Onward - Hercules - Emperor's New Groove - Lilo & Stitch - James & the Giant Peach - the Trolls movies series Love the channel. You guys rock! Thanks for everything

Brendan Rafferty

Robot Dreams Nominated for best animated film this past awards season

My name is Jere

12 Monkeys is on My Top 10 movie list. Its so good

Stugotz

I don't know if you guys already watched Face/Off, but I advise to just watch the movie and have fun with it, don't try to question the logic of it too much, it's not that kind of movie. It's a cheesy 90's action flick, don't take it too seriously and you'll have a much better time 🙂

Dan Holmes

Someday you guys should check out The Thief and the Cobbler "Recobbled Cut Mark 4", read up on it's significance then find a copy and watch, you'll be amazed if you know the background going in :)

Mark Messer

You guys should check out these animated films: -‘9’ is literally the name of the movie -Atlantis: The Lost Empire -Finding Nemo -Wall-e -Up -Treasure Planet

Brandon Meng

Surprised you guys haven't done Up yet. Up Wall-E Toy Story 3 Frozen 1 + 2 (don't judge me, I have daughters and the music is fantastic) Over the Moon Klaus All Dogs Go to Heaven Inside Out 2 movie trailer
