The fiddle is the freaking freedom radio of the minutemen. There is this tune and only this one. And this radio is giving you quests like those of Preston. So it is indeed hated by nearly everyone. And it plays automatically in the settlement where you unlock it, making this settlement worst than radioactive for me.

.. as a dude who didn't know ANYTHING about Fallout, the show was ok but for a first time into this world, I don't recommand watchin' with you, guys... coz you geeked A LOT (and I totally understand)...... but sometimes during the season, not on purpose of course, you spoiled some things, and sometimes you speaked over important talking (at least, for someone you don’t know anything) once gain, I get it :) … but for a newbie to this world, it's not the best

Wow! Such a great show and adaptaion, they really nailed this one, cant wait for season 2! Love ur reaction! Btw. for anyone who is interested in the fallout lore after theyve seen this show, there is a great YT Series "The Storyteller" By ShoddyCast, which goes over a lot of the fallout lore from all the games, its great if you want to get into the lore in a very well done, show kind of style and because the show isnt a story in the games you cant really get spoiled (except maybe some creatures or characters they 100% will use in S2) but you will get a lot of great backstory to the world.

I probably laughed more than I should have at the "The universe wanted to tell me something" but I had the same thought when I bought Fallout 1-3 on sale the other day. Well played, Bethesda! :D

This show has been a perfect adaptation of the Fallout games in that the characters, sets, music, backstories and "side quests" are all amazing while the main story is pretty flimsy and uninspired. The biggest regret I have is that this is a show not a game, so we can't go back and explore alternate outcomes or just ignore the predictable main quest to instead explore the open world and discover more colorful characters and mysterious places. It definitely earns high marks from me if for no other reason than the layers and layers of fan service they packed into each episode. Definitely a fallout fan's dream show.

The 101097 code for the cold fusion is Fallout 1's release date, also I see George didn't react to Big MT so I gather he didn't play the New Vegas DLC, Old World Blues which is an awesome DLC I might add.

I have a weird theory that Moldaver and Maximus are related somehow.. Like mother son or aunt or something and that Lucy and Maximus actually met as kids but don't remember each other

Thadeus is so funny... I remember him as one of Jenko's friends from 21 Jump Street and later an intern in 22 Jump Street and also from a very little known show called Son of Zorn with him and Jason Sudeikis, it only lasted one season but I liked it...

Well, this show was blast for a Fallout fan! I really like that they answered the age old Fallout question: "Who nuked first?" the way they did, it's just so fitting. Seeing all those company names in a meeting, outbidding each other in "How horrible can we be?" when you've seen what they were capable of just on their own in the games was great! Vault Tec being responsible for the first nuke has been a fan theory for a long time and the show pulled it off really well. However, I can't say that I like what they did to the ghouls. Walton Goggins is awesome, of course, but the whole anti-feral serum thing with time being the only factor that turns ghouls feral, turning Thaddeus into a ghoul by inhaling some stuff once, that's just not how Fallout ghouls work. The games gave us so many touching stories of people realising they're turning, first into "normal" ghouls, then going feral for so many different reasons, but the show just went with: "They all go feral eventually, unless they huff this serum every other day".

Well that was awesome, fine tie in with all the games and in the end a great payoff. Even down to the long talk with villains and their motives in the end :D. Here just a film nerds take: since being introduced to the 3 characters story line, one definitely has to compare to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. And I would say, Lucy is good, Maximus is the bad (by proxy, only because of naivety and his group), and The Ghoul is ugly - but also the odd factor to cross everybody's plans. Damn good story on its own though, the reveal with execs escaping to do eternal management, big corps in on everything and Moldaver just wanting tech and freedom for the survivors of Shady Sands, good stuff.
