My favourite of the series

American Wedding is the best in the series. It came out the year, I graduated from college, and I ended up having to watch it with my parents. At first, it was awkward, but we ended up having one of the best watching it. Everyone laughed the whole way through. The mid credit scene is great.

There is a total of 9 movies in the franchise. Half were theatrical releases (the original, 2, Wedding and Reunion) and the others were straight to DVD or streaming (Band Camp, Naked Mile, Beta House, Book of Love and Girls Rule). The non theatrical releases all feature a Stifler relative and with the exception of Girls Rule also feature Eugene Levy. I would pass on all of them though, except for Band Camp, which is passable. As for the remaining theatrical released I'd definitely recommend Wedding, though Chris Kline as Oz doesn't appear and you could probably skip Reunion but it does bring back the whole original cast of main characters.

You must watch American Wedding it is hilarious. It's very rare that a 3rd movie is that good. It's def funnier than the 2nd one. Stifler is a maniac in that one.....American Reunion I was underwhelmed with tbh.

I haven’t watched this movie in years, and yet Jim’s dad’s line “This has been a good news day!” is one of my most frequently used movie quotes ever. I probably say it at least once a week.

If you want an amazing comedy series with Eugene Levy (Jim’s dad) I recommend putting Schitt’s Creek up for a poll. It also has Dan Levy (his real life son) and Catherine O’Hara.

American Reunion is actually pretty good. The four with the main cast are what you want, skip all the other spinoffs without them.

Definitely American Wedding and Reunion. All the "Presents:" films are just spinoffs, focusing on Stiffler's various cousins. Some are okay, but they lack the magic of the main films.

I gotta say, you two seemed to enjoy this movie a lot more than I thought you would. I'm not saying you shouldn't like it, but I expected a video filled with groaning and heavy sighs instead of near-constant laughter. Eugene Levy really is A Star, and I heavily recommend the TV series "Schitt's Creek". He plays a very different character, but nonetheless gets the exact same vibe of a good dad trying to do his best. The rest of the cast is phenomenal as well, and it REALLY made magic.

I think the movies actually got better with each sequel, and even more heartwarming. Definitely check out Wedding and Reunion. The other spinoffs are not worth it imo.

Band camp is my personal favorite in the series, it has a different message in the end that the character doesn't need to have sex to find romance
