This is awesome. It's both my favorite reaction channels!! 🍿🥤

If you're looking for a combined Canadian/Australian film effort, check out the movie "Wake in Fright". It was directed by Canadian director Ted Kotcheff, who would go on to direct both "Rambo: First Blood" and "Weekend at Bernies". As an Aussie, it is one of the most real depictions of Australian life ever put to screen. It holds nothing back. An absolute classic, and a really hard watch. But then again, the truth should not be shied away from.

Oh a collab with other reaction channel I watch 👀

Daniel Dawson

Happy to see this colab with another of my favourite reaction channels and a fellow Aussie!

Happy Hanukkah

"Iron supplements and window cleaner." Well duh, people can't be expected to dry-swallow those iron supplements! 1:28 The true growing up is the bumps we make along the way... 😬 1:52 As another reactor would say*, "Symbolism!" * EDIT: I wish to apologize. What I should have written, of course, was "loudly and repeatedly exclaim." :-)

i think it's great that you are bringing on more guests, i would recommend GOOD BAD OR BAD BAD, with kyle and bryan they are really funny, and i think have alot in common in your attitudes and interests.

Dylan Thomas

The movie was filmed in and around Vancouver but was supposed to take place In Minnesota. ALso for JK Simmons comedy movies Check out The Ladykillers its a Cohen Brothers Movie with Tom Hanks starring and Marlon Wayans and JK Simmons its a dark comedy and somewhat underrated.

Unlike many of the movies I “re-watch” along with you guys…a) I’ve only seen this once, and b) not in quite a while. But I remember I liked it very much. I read some comments, leading up to the reaction…about Diablo Cody’s writing style. I liked its unique voice…and the series she wrote, United States of Tara(!); but…I was worried, how it might be “of its time”. But this felt quirky and charming, as it ever was…and reminded me why I was a fan to begin with. Shoutout to editing…especially for leaving plenty of meat on the bone, in Alison Janey’s beat down at the sonogram! Also…whether it was the edit, on you generally just left plenty of space for each other; but the collab wasn’t so bad.

HeyHeyJK

A great film for this reaction collab and can't wait to see your combined reaction to "Babe". One of my favorite films ever. While Australian master director George Miller didn't direct "Babe", he produced it and then directed the sequel which, sadly, wasn't as successful. Too bad he only has all those Mad Max films and about 10 other films to his credit. Also, I saw "Furiosa" yesterday and can't wait for ya'll to react to it.

JK Simmons is also great in the comedy Palm Springs

I liked this movie but I love Babe. I think you three will also love it. I’ll definitely be watching y’all review it on Mary’s channel.

That is great panel of three for reactions, we got a full spectrum there. That movie is still excellent. Every part is perfectly cast even Jason Batemen as the dickwad husband. Allison Janney was already goated from her role as CJ in The West wing but is teh coolest mom ever in this. JK Simmons doesn't do enough comedies, before this I knew him primarily from teh HBO show OZ where he plays white supremacist inmate and was so good at that part I didn't really trust the dude. This one role made me realize how insanely good an actor he is. Dude is the definition of range. Diablo Cody can write her ass off, and deserved that best screenplay Oscar. I think Reitman did an awesome job directing but there was no shot he was going to win best director in a year where Michael Clayton (my favorite that year), No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood, and the Diving Bell and the Butterfly are also up for it. All 5 great movies that deliver something special in each on. Late 00's has some insane bangers.

jstraight52

Almost everything was shot in Vancouver. This site here will tell you the specific streets if you really think they shot where your friends live: https://giggster.com/guide/movie-location/where-was-juno-filmed Also, Most Fruitful Yuki is a real manga. It was originally a one-off from 2001. But when Juno included it in the film, demand skyrocketed and it was turned into a monthly comic.

Rob Church

Fun reaction. Again, I think Diablo Cody is a really poor writer, especially when it comes to writing teens like Juno and Jennifer's Body. Young Adult is her best work IMO because everything doesn't sound so forced. For good movies based around the struggles of youth I would recommend Harmony Korines early work like "Kids" or "Gummo"

clh35

"He's like 3 times her age!" You must be thinking of the current Jason Bateman. The 2007 Jason Bateman is only 38, and she (now he) was 20.

Lex Kuzma

If you want to see more sides of JK Simmons you have to watch Counterpart. It's an amazing show that didn't get the credit it deserved and he's so great in it in so many ways.

Happy Hanukkah

Looking at the thumbnail, the track uniform is most fitting. George will be on the run from the ladies for the rest of his life for the way he depicted them! :-)

Lionbarber

Another great J.k. Simmons comedy is the Coen Bros. Ladykillers. Also featuring Tom Hanks!

Rachel W

The Diablo Cody dialogue in this is so great. And the whole cast performed it perfectly. Kind of freaked out by the coincidence of Page wearing that red hoodie at the beginning reminding me of "Hard Candy"--which they should def react to if they haven't seen it.

AJ Lynch

what I think a good movie is, but kinda got a bad rap is the movie The Ladykillers starring Tom Hanks, JK Simmons, Marlon Wayons and its based off an Edgar Allan Poe story. It is also a remake from 1955. I think its underrated and its a comedy.

Solid Oak

I remember seeing this film in theaters and just shaking my head at all these different scenes but at the end is very charming and I’m hoping that Elliot Paige back the was having fun and happy life. But she was very charming and talented then and I hope he’s still charming talented now.

Jay Johnson

The ladies said toward the end that it was bad that Mark wanted to steal the baby from Vanessa. And I never got that vibe at all; I don't think Mark had any desire to raise a kid and had no issue with V keeping the baby. But yeah, he's definitely skeevy. The problems that can creep up with a middle-aged character that has never fully grown up (emotionally) and a teen that tries to be more mature than their actual age (in some ways), that have similar interests (in music and movies)
