Pam is the real villain in this movie. Couldn’t give Greg some warning beforehand? Sure, he’d probably screw it up anyways, but at least he’d be prepared…

The sequel "Meet the Fockers" is actually really funny too, I hope you guys watch it. Dustin Hoffman was hilarious in it.

Pam and, really, pretty much everyone is the worst in this movie. I've never been a huge fan of these movies (I've seen the first two), simply because of how uncomfortable all of Pam's family/friends make me. It's the same reason I never liked Everybody Loves Raymond, because everyone just seems like a huge jerk. I'm glad George and Simone seemed to enjoy the movie, though, so I swear I'm not trying to yuck anyone's yum!

Mary Cherry is the first reactor to view Greg as the villain. I never saw it before, but his extreme betaness exacerbated every situation that could have been solved with a little bit of back bone.

George, regarding saying Grace: I can only speak for Catholics, but there is a short and simple prayer… and it doesn’t involve lines from a musical 😀 Also, there is a pitcher in the baseball Hall of Fame named Gaylord Perry. So there is one confirmed guy named Gaylord and also thanks for the trivia,, a confirmed Focker too.

Im always impressed by how much the is channel manages to continue to interact with their community despite the growth of the channels. Regularly replying to comments on patreon, youtube and in dm’s. Taking down all recommendations. Doing weekly polls to decide the direction of the channel. And every now and then doing gigantic patreon reactions to all kinds of things people have recommended (even when its not just movies). As well as occasionally a Q and A to answer hundreds of other questions about all kinds of things. And thank you to the other person who inspired me to write his, by complaining about something that this channel does more of than any other reaction channel I have seen. Thanks for making a nice online community.

I'm one of the ones who just doesn't like the style of comedy in movies like this. Where people act horribly to each other, or RIDICULOUSLY incompetent and then lie and lie to cover it up. I don't find it particularly funny or entertaining, it always just seems like a waste of time to me. I'm glad you two at least got to laugh at it.

So, in a Pollyanna-esque attempt to defend Pam's volunteering of Greg, I think she's trying to help because she thinks that Jack will warm up to him once he sees how competent Greg is. Unfortunately, she's the sort of person who not only sees the best in people, but thinks the people she loves are far better than they actually are. To use a Discworld quote, she's seeing the world through a rose-tinted brain.
