Dwight Scarn

Definitely gotta watch Drunken Master 2

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Minority Report’s an underrated Spielberg gem! Definitely a winner

J Danger87

Smokey and the Bandit is one of my all time favorite movies.

Mastervodo

Count of monte cristo is classic. Get some culture y'all! Oh, and a baby Henry Cavill for you to sploosh to!

Gareth Turner

Oh, The Man From Uncle is good fun. Shame it never got a sequel really…

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

'Smokey and The Bandit' shouldn't be anywhere near this poll... but absolutely should be watched! A true classic that has me constantly looking in the classifieds for a Trans Am

Brazilian_Rebel

Some suggestions….. The Cell, the animation film The Legend of Gahoole, Last house on the left, Hills have eyes, House of 1000 corpses and devils rejects,

Brazilian_Rebel

Quentin Tarantinos Death proof, Robert Rodrigues Planet terror, And you guys should also check Spike lee films , such as Crooklyn, Do the right thing, And miracle at st Anna !

beefjerkywizard

Let's go Dantes! The Count is a must watch!

Andrew

I think you guys will like Minority Report.

Joe Williams

Escape From New York is the most Kurt Russell has ever Kurt Russell-ed.

Jethro Divine

Drunken Master may be old but it's still spectacular!

Yaron Assa

The man from uncle is the best performance by Henry cavil, ever. So swab and charming

Felreign

Count of Monte Cristo!

squarebrain

Since you've seen "The Thing" I would suggest John Carpenters's Apocalypse Trilogy: -The Thing -In The Mouth Of Madness -Prince Of Darkness Some more suggestions: -They Live -Stargate -Butterfly Effect

paul rai

A great punchy punchy punchy kick pew pew movie is The Night Comes For Us (2018). Another amazing Indonesian action film that is probably one of the most gnarly, brutally insane action films. Lots of “Oh shit,” and “holy jesus” reactions and plenty of wincing from the action.

Mike FromOz

Still going to keep recommending "The Guard" 😅 But these are some good choices

Korpse

Seeing drunken master gives me hope that one day we can watch legend of drunken master 🙌

Peter Vasey

Escape from New York for me. Can we have some Jason Statham films on a future poll? Crank (2006) The Transporter (2002) Death Race (2008) Safe (2012)

Spence Lee

The man from UNCLE is great

Smooticus

Run Lola Run Go! Death Race 2000 (far better than the 2008 remake if only for the over the top cheesy-ness. And Stallone has some great lines) Kelly's Heroes The Dirty Dozen

Lamar Savage

To my mind there will never be a better or funnier poll title than this one!

streetduck

It's been awhile since you guys watched Wes Anderson film so i would recommend The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004)

ShōNuff3K

Youz guyz should have one of those spinning wheels to pick a monthly winner that gets to pick a movie. 'Movie Lotto'

Chase Lonnergan

Much as I love The Count of Monte Cristo, and Smokey and the Bandit... They don't really belong on this poll with the other movies.

The Gunslinger

Could you cover Rango at some point?

Kaushik Sethunath

Oh man, I really hope we get to watch Man From UNCLE with you guys. It just oozes so much style!

Florian

Ohh Drunken Master is a nice one. Maybe a sunday release, or a Honkong movie special? We also didn't watch the 36 chambers. I would reccomend some old school Kung Fu movies and Fearless (uncut)

Villa Lobos

For the next thriller or horror film add The Prophecy (1995)

Jeff K.

I see Snake Plissken, I vote for Snake Plissken. (But I would love to see you guys watch Man From UNCLE; it's so damn good, and fun as hell.)

Jacob King

Would love to see The Man From UNCLE get picked. I’ve also got a lot of affection for The Count of Monte Cristo and when you’ve done the Count you’ll be well positioned for Sleepers (1996).

Jomero

A couple decades ago I decided to watch all the famous movies I'd never seen (I was a reactor too far ahead of his time, I guess). Escape From New York was on the list. I was afraid it being a bit dated would skew my enjoyment of it. Nope. Loved every minute of it.

German Garcia

Damn so this is how it feels to have the unpopular vote, RIP The Raid 2 😭

JayF

I guess I should rejoice that there are only a few hit Tom Cruise movies left so we can all move on to other leading actors and actresses.

FWPJR.

Never seen any of these, tbh most the polls I haven’t seen any of the movies unless they are from the 80’s, 90’s, or the 2000’s. And it’s usually comedy movies ( very rarely action or drama ) but I have been watching more recent movies recently. So whatever wins I hope everyone enjoys the reaction✌🏻

Kwazimoto69

Finally... Minority Report.

Bob Bittner

Given the subject line, I’m going to recommend “Atomic Blonde,” starring Charlize Theron. It doesn’t get much more “punchy punchy kick pew pew” than that film.

Wes Stevens

Anytime I get someone to watch the count of monte Cristo I'm in. But you can't go wrong with Snake either. Too many good choices.

Nate Southerland

C'mon, y'all. No love for Smokey and the Bandit?? It's classic cheeseball action comedy!

mky

Drunken Master is a Jackie Chan classic. Time for me to re-watch it, regardless of the poll. Thanks for the reminder, Cinebinge!

Chase Schleich

Sweet. I think you guys will like Minority Report (assuming it stays in 1st place).

Pearl Jam

Got to give “Jumanji: The Next Level” another recommendation. I watch those two movies so much, would be great to watch’em both with you two.

G P

Recommending: Barry Lyndon Eyes Wide Shut Best In Show Dollars Trilogy Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) Blue Velvet The Menu

Saddleface

The Count of Monte Christo is such a great movie. It’s slept on.

Jeremy

I needs to be the classic Smokey and the Bandit. Just not sure if it should be the original, or the TV edit. I think that version is almost funnier at times.

Smooticus

Also recommend Terry Gilliam's Time Bandits, Brazil, and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen

Kevin

Yesss minority report!

Kevin

Please consider these movies: Old school I love you man Pineapple Express Minority report This is 40 Prisoners Kingpin I now pronounce you chick and Larry Sausage party Horrible bosses Wreck it Ralph Gangs of New York American beauty The revenant 12 years a slave Wedding singer Hall pass Crash Blades of glory Hot tub Time Machine The internship Big daddy Saving Silverman Hitch The breakup Casino Grandmas boy Heavyweights Role models Knocked up Batman forever Sherlock Holmes Nightcrawler Emperors new groove The town A million ways to die in the west Forgetting Sarah marshall Wall E Shallow Hal Enemy of the state 7 pounds Blow Neighbors Bridesmaids

Morion Williams

Well this isn't fair, four of the seven are really good, sad hardly any one is voting for smoky and the bandit, that would be a great one for cinebinge.

jmundt33a

Wish Count of Monte Cristo was doing better. Have they done Atomic Blonde yet?

UnlicensedOkie

Another amazing punch kick pew pew movie is called The Kiss of the Dragon with Jet Li. Might be my favorite of his movies. Definitely top 5

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

Another VERY good film with plenty of pew pews is 'Road To Perdition'.

jmundt33a

Unleashed would be an interesting choice from Jet Li’s English speaking roles. The Man from Uncle was a huge disappointment. Not King Arthur level, but definitely RocknRolla level. The Gentlemen would be a good choice from Guy’s remaining filmography.

RipTheRipper

The eventual winner was pretty evident from just looking at the poll...I personally voted for Smokey and the Bandit as a wonderful film, nostalgic for me (as I was 10 on release), and would be a fun reaction

RipTheRipper

Requests: - One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest (1975) - Fame (1980) - Go (1999) - The Squid and the Whale (2005) - Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011) - Bottoms (2023)

Guy-on-Couch

Omg Count of Monte Cristo!!!!!

JFC

That version of Count of Monte Cristo is better than it has any right to be, for a 90s remake/adaptation. It's really pretty flawless.

Stephen

Thanks for throwing the count of monte Cristo on 😊 really great movie

Brendan Rafferty

Smokey and the Bandit… and Minority Report in the same poll? Huh? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Brendan Rafferty

It’s a shame Raid 2 won’t win because it is one of the greatest and most over the top action movies ever made

Renee MeowMeow Beans

Drunken Master is a classic and a delight . . . and Escape from New York is a classic and a delight . . . . I guess I have to vote for both!! 😀

Mr. Writhms

Oddly enough, "Smokey and the Bandit" was one of Alfred Hitchcock's favorite movies. I just can't picture that old style British filmmaker sitting down and watching one of the most American movies ever. LOL Like they say... never judge a book by the cover.

Michael Johnson

Pleasantly surprised Minority Report is winning. One of a handful of Philip K. Dick adaptations worth watching

Dan Holmes

The Count of Monte Cristo Deserves a watch, obviously Minority Report should win but don't sleep on tCoMC lol

Jonathan

The Man From Uncle not getting more love makes me a little sad. That film deserved more viewership.

Brad Lowry

¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ Happy Canada Day to Simone and George ! ! ! ! ! ! And to any other of their fellow Canadians that see this...

Brandon Meng

Super happy for Minority Report but Count of Monte Cristo may very well be the best revenge film, ever. So good and hope it comes back up on a poll again. Please consider for future polls: Perks of Being a Wallflower Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Nebraska About Time Sideways Manchester by the Sea Forgetting Sarah Marshall Midnight in Paris The Royal Tenenbaums

JoeE

Would also recommend millers crossing, out of sight, dog day afternoon

Mr. Writhms

Happy Canada Day, George and Simone. 🍁

Timmo Warner

Put Drunken Master II on there and I'm all over it! =oD

Seymor Butz

You have to see Minority report, but the count of Monte Cristo is my favorite film on this list.

NEIL PICKERING

good luck with the op george, all the best!

WastedPo

Minority Report has aged very well. When it came out, I loved a lot about it, despite some moments that didn't quite work for me. It's now over 20 years old, and all the stuff that was great about it before is still great. Wonderful world-building and acting with thought-provoking ideas at the center of its plot. (Yeah, the tacky moments are still there, but they've gotten easier to overlook with time.)

Stephen Morris

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is a fun movie, even if it does have Real Life Cannibal Armie Hammer

Trevor S Bright

All right Minority Report!! From source material by Phillip K. Dick, whose literature also brought us the glory of both Blade Runner & Total Recall. It's weird/awesome that as mind-trippy/WTF Dick's stories are, the Hollywood adaptations I feel make them a little more WTF, like the whole "is Deckard a Replicant?" or "was Arnold/Quaid just dreaming?"...so I guess Hollywood just brings ambiguity for the cherry on top. Sweet!

Dee Aitch

I must have seen a different Smokey and the Bandit.

Mycenaeus

So today is the day. I wish George a good surgeon and quick recovery. Call me an optimist, but just in case he survive, here are a few more recommendations: Rope (1948) The Name of the Rose (1986) When the Wind Blows (1986)

Michael Buhl

I know it will never win a poll, but I still want to add Branded to Kill (殺しの烙印, 1967) to your list of "pew pew pew" movies to watch. It's Japanese, and it's a little weird.

JoeE

Would also recommend go, unforgiven, high plains drifter

HeyHeyJK

I mean, if you want punchy punchy then "Drunken Master" should be winning by a mile, but I'm glad to see "Escape from New York" is at least in 2nd place. Such a fun film plus the divine combo of Kurt Russell and John Carpenter.

Tyler Foster

Need a Jackie Chan-only poll, or at least a pure martial arts poll. I was actually just rewatching Rush Hour and Rush Hour 2 reactions and thinking, "Man, I hope they get to one of the old-school Jackie movies." Police Story, Drunken Master, Drunken Master II, Project A, Armor of God, Dragons Forever...

Damian

Minority Report is the obvious blockbuster in this list. Pretty good/entertaining TV show as well. Although it only lasted one series so maybe I was the only person who liked it.

Kyle B

Would love to see Logan Lucky find its way onto a poll. One of my favorite heist movies on recent years, well above the four Ocean's movies.

Archive23

At least people in here have the good sense to recommend Minority Report.

Charles Clover

Think happy thoughts for the Count of Monte Cristo... eventually 🥺
