Hi folks, George here. So I have a gallbladder removal surgery coming up on July 2nd. Appointment was made 3 weeks ago but I didnt want to mention it till its close to the date. It should be a fairly quick and easy procedure thats done in a morning and home by evening. But I wanted to quickly make this video and let you all know as a JUST INCASE it doesn't go well. If by Saturday, July 6th, no video is uploaded. Then something went wrong and we'll go from there. Otherwise, video uploads and releases on here will remain exactly the same. ill probably make a video or something while at the hospital before and after procedure and maybe post it on YT to keep me distracted and keep everyone up to date. Thats all! Be nice to each other, cheers!

I hope all goes well mate. I had my gallbladder removed a while ago and I was in and out same day! Took a couple of weeks to fully recover, some aches etc! But it was fine all in all. You'll be alright buddy! 👍

Chris H.

Have a family member who does these surgeries, and also distant family and a friend who have had it done. You totally got this. They'll scope it out of you, it'll be minimally invasive, and you'll do great. Get well soon George!

Lee Meehan

All the best George, I know plenty of people who's went through the surgery you'll be grand.

David Weinstein

Good luck with it. I just had mine out in February. Take a bit longer than they suggest to recover, just in case.

Good luck George! Will keep you in my thoughts!

Kenny 240

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

HeyHeyJK

Most gall bladder removals are super routine now and you should be back home ASAP. If they still record video from the little laporoscopic camera they have inside you, get a copy of that and do a reaction to it! Thanks for the heads up and see you soon back on the channel!

Jeff K.

You’ll be good George, I’m sure. (Totally get it though; I was put under for the first time in my life a couple years ago and was sending “just in case” texts.) Also: Simone looking so concerned in the video: if ever we needed further evidence she's an incredibly empathetic person and good friend, all the evidence is here now. Good luck, George, looking forward you seeing your reactions to Memento and Better Call Saul!

Jason R Carpenter

Surgery is never fun. I had emergency gall bladder removal surgery due to stones. Mine was done laparoscopically. Healing time was about 1 to 2 weeks. You will do fine.

Ricardo Alanis

Hang in there George and best wishes for a quick recovery! I can’t speak for everyone but as far as I’m concerned, take as much time as you need to feel good and ready to get back into the swing of things.

Donald Mellen

I had that done, too. It was a relief. Good luck! If you need to take some time to heal, then TAKE. THE. TIME. TO. HEAL!

ShōNuff3K

Be sure to ask if you can keep your gall bladder after they take it out. They are delicious steamed and with couscous. Both my sisters had theirs out. I have the recipe if you're interested. 🍕

FranciscoGios

I’m wishing you good luck George, I hope the surgery is a success and I see you on Saturday friend or should I say I’ll see your first video after the surgery 👍.

PIG

Be well, George!

David Lengyel

Been through the same procedure, buddy. Fingers crossed, it's like a walk in the park. Just make sure you do exactly as doc says in the recovery phase and you're golden. You may even ask for your gallstones to take them for another trip abroad 🙌

simpLeXity

Who's idea was to have Simone sit and suffer through this video? 🤣🤦🏽 Sending positive energy your way man, see you soon 🤘🏼

cincassette

Best of luck and a speedy recovery, George!

Ian Cano

Thank you for the update and good luck with the surgery George! 👍

Armchair Rizzard

I wish you luck George and I am sure it’ll go well.

Mitchell Bowker

Good Luck George! I had my gallbladder removed a few years ago due to gallstones. It was keyhole surgery so was in and out same day but had a couple weeks recovery so don't expect to be too active immediately post-surgery. Don't push yourself for our sake! take your time and get well :D

Sam Ferguson

I'm sure it's gonna go great, but good luck all the same! Please take care of yourself. We'll be here when you're recovered. Also: Poor Simone's face for this whole video 🥺

Bert Taverner

Hope all goes well George! I’m sure you’ll want to rest off the experience even if it goes smoothly, so definitely do so if that’s your feel on it!

Peter Moe

Sending prayers to y’all, it will be fine. But still, good luck bro.

Duncan

RIP George ⚰️💖 Great content while it lasted ,I will miss the channel

Lester Yung

As you said, George, it's a simple procedure so everything should be fine. Good luck anyway and see you again Saturday!

Pravda

Best wishes, George! I just did some quick research.. it will be a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, yes? Laparoscopic surgery is such a blessing of modern medicine. We'll hope for some action-packed hospital highlights next week!

DM DC

We just want ya safe and to be well, so don't stress out if you're unable to keep the schedule. You are far more important! If needed we can surely wait. Good luck George, take care and be safe.

mky

I created my own poll and voted overwhelmingly for "The procedure goes according to plan and George is safe and sound at home by evening." Good luck, George! We'll be thinking of you and sending positive vibes. 🤗 👍

slowprodigy

Riiiight... Gallbladder. So when George returns in a week with breast implants we are all supposed to just pretend we had no idea? I'm not falling for another government psyop. I won't be the laughing stock of this flat Earth ever again!

Benjamin Rogers

Had mine removed back in December, a low risk procedure but you will certainly be tender for a while! All the best with your surgery, it's such a nice feeling when that pesky blighter is gone and no longer causing issues, I assure you!

Brandi Davis

Good thoughts in your direction!!!

Shikyo

All will be fine! Hope you recover quickly

Karl Wiggins

I hope everything goes smoothly and your recovery is quick and as pain-free as possible.

You shall pass the surgery and be healthy once more ❤️

Kevin Rogers

My dad had the same surgery and it went quick and easy, you shouldnt have anything to worry about.

Peter Dillard

Good luck. I had mine removed a few years ago; easy peasy :-)

Ian Hunt

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Paul McBryde

Wishing you well George! Wishing Simone well too, because it's nice to be wished well why not.

JayF

Dang, dude. Best wishes!

Hathaum

Good luck, George! I am sure everything will go splendidly, but keeping fingers crossed, and hoping for a speedy recovery!

Nathan Smith

Good luck George! I had mine out a few years ago, feel free to hit me up if you need any questions or reassurances

Zombie Brad

Hope all goes well George 🤘🏻💚

BigSlice

Gallbladder surgery sucks, but if you gotta choose a surgery to have... It's among the most routine operations, and has a surprisingly short recovery time. My dad, 78 years old, just had his removed last month and was back into his usual routine within a few days. Hope all goes well, and your recovery is as smooth as my dad's!

Happy Hanukkah

"If by Saturday, July 6th, no video is uploaded. Then something went wrong" I'm nonchalant to the point of never having bothered to remember your schedule. I suppose this is the ultimate way of getting me to care. Once. :-) I join everybody's best wishes. (And may your gallbladder enjoy its last Dominion Day.)

Chris Tomlin

Let’s get the MDs info just in case. Lol Godspeed

Paddy Thompson

Stay safe brother! Very standard surgery so you’ll be just fine man nothing to worry about!

Naturekitty5309

I have had two friends go through that same procedure, and they are perfectly fine. And this happened in the lousy US Healthcare system. So you got it made man...no worries

Kleann6160

Good Luck George🤞, We need you & Simone, Y’all the Mega Powers😉✌️

Jim Maher

Best wishes dude, look after yourself!

Trevor Rotan

I had that, you’ll be fine. See you when you get back.

Maura Gillies

It's all good, just take care of yourself!

Orangeplum

Good luck George! Sending positive thoughts and prayers!

Richard Burrell

Take care George, I’m sure it will all go fine. We can wait for reactions - you need to look after yourself first!

Graham Bullman

Best Wishes George, for a quick process and speedy recovery.

Vwlss Nvwls

Good luck! And look at the bright side, after this surgery if anyone says they cannot believe you have the gall to say or do something, you can respond "you are right... I do not have a gall - bladder any more." :D Sorry, I am a father, so by law I have to tell bad jokes.

Neil

Had mine removed years ago. You'll be in mourning afterwards 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Dylan Thomas

Sending you love and good vibes George. You got this brother!

Christian Rennie

I hope everything goes well and you have a speedy recovery! Take care of yourself, George.

Scoobay

The anxiety and anticipation is usually a lot worse than the actual event, hope all goes well nonetheless. Sending good juju.

Wrencher86

My condolences to your soon-to-be altered diet. Hope all goes well.

Michael L.

Good luck with your recovery!

Collinson

Rest up and don't rush back before you are ready.

Al Karnov

We'll be waiting :) Best wishes, and as you're being sedated focus on a positive outcome and quick recovery. It can help!

Eric Mc Daniel

Your bladder sure has some gall to put you through this, George...I'll see myself out now.

Bill B.

Best wishes George. Health first, the rest can wait.

Alan Kobb

I had this done back in 2022. I was back home by mid-afternoon, and most of the post-op pain was gone by the next morning. I was comfortable working on my computer from home the next few days during my recovery. I hope yours goes as easily as mine and that you feel well, George.

Kim

A prayer for you George that all goes well.

G4M1L

With surgery you can never be 100% certain, but gall bladder removal is quite a routine thing, and probably a minimally invasive procedure. Best wishes for everything to go smoothly!

probablyKoi

Oh god, the title of this and the look on Simone's face had me very nervous - hope you're back home and feeling better soon George

Yaron Assa

Feel well, and have it go as smoothly as possible.

Michael Lloyd

Hi George, I had mine done last summer, it’s nothing to worry about. You literally go to sleep without knowing it, wake up with a shit load of painkillers (my anaesthetist announced “ this is what killed Michael Jackson”) and you’ve got no worries. bit of discomfort for a few days while your body works out what to do with itself but then that’s it. back to normal really. feel free to message with any questions.

Joits

Wishing you a speedy recovery

Paul G

All the best George!

Eric G

I had mine removed last fall in a Montreal hospital after they re-scheduled me 3 times. I actually had to show up 2 of the no-gos, put on the gown, waited hours and everything only to be told it wouldn't be that day. (The other time, they called me the day before to cancel.) Basically, since it's a low priority operation, if something urgent comes in you might get bumped. Hope that doesn't happen to you! (Or anyone, really!) Otherwise, recovery was very smooth for me once the operation really happened. Good luck! Hope it all goes well!

Jenny-gave-forrest-aids

Best of luck with the procedure Georgie!!! Can Simone let us know right away if the sex change operation went well? Hope you get well soon after the thing bud. Take care!

Scott Mazzei

Wishing a speedy and healthy recovery.

Xpndable

Please remember, work induces stress, however minor. The secret to a speedy recovery is time off, please take it. Good luck George, hope all goes well.

Joseph Tamburo

Best of luck George. Hoping you have a smooth recovery!

Timothy Burrows

I’m a surgical nurse practitioner. Anyone can feel free to ask me questions about the procedure so I can help with anyone’s fears. If you want to look it up it called a laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

sarCC

Sending good vibes. Hope all goes well.

John

Wishing you the best

Pam Nail

I hope everything goes well and that you have a swift and smooth recovery!

Mr. Writhms

Now I'm going to be worried. Thanks a lot, GEORGE! Like I don't have enough on my plate! You better be alright, you freakin' cine-dude! 🥹

Chris Jarrett

Hope all is well with a quick and easy recovery!

Jeff I.

Wishing you all the best, George!

Dan Holmes

George you should totally do a reaction while completely stoned out of your mind on painkillers :)

Chase Schleich

Just put off the surgery a while longer. You'll be fine. I waited until my gallbladder died, turned gangrene, and tried to kill me before getting it taken out. I turned out fine..... after a week in the hospital and a big squeeze bottle taped to my chest and a tube running from it through my guts for a couple of weeks. No sweat.

Boba Fettuccine

Wishing you a full and speedy recovery, George! Simone, wishing you all the best too!

Jesse Coombs

WHERE'S MY MEMENTO VIDEO!!!! Just kidding of course. Much love to you George (and Simone!). Get better, recover, and take all the time you need. I'm sure things will turn out fine, but I know it can be scary and our hearts are with you.

Jonah

Hope you recover quickly homie!

Jeff K.

By the way, George: if you walk into the operating room and the doctor says, "Hi, everybody!" you run. Don't think twice. Just run.

Ethan Holgate

Best of luck man you don't technology need that organ anyway lol but if causing you problems get it removed 👍

MoulinNoir

fingers crossed for you!

PureGonzo

Ah, I actually had mine removed a few months ago. It was a minimally invasive procedure, and I recovered very quickly afterwards. But best of all… it fixed the issues that removing it was supposed to fix. So I hope your experience mirrors mine and that everything goes smoothly!

PastaDon

Anesthesia, YESSS!! I've had three sugeries where they had to put me under.. best part, the anesthesia.. sounds scary, the words "being put under" but each time, I was like whoa this drug feels great.. 5 seconds later, out like a light and you wake up in the recovery room like, what!! it's over already.. can we do that again please!!😁

Florian

Hey ho, good luck wish you nothing but the best 🤞❤🍀

Thoko

Thanks for the info. Best of luck, though I'm sure everything will be fine.

Ocelot

Hoping your Surgery and recovery goes well 🌟

Glenner7

Will this mean less puns? After all, it took a lot of gall to make some of the bad puns you've made... :-)

CD

Best wishes George!

brismithejedi

All the best and hopes for a speedy recovery!

Katzchen1984

Good luck! :) I had this surgery done about 10 years ago now. It's not too bad but your mid section is pretty sore for a few days :(.

DeadmanJAX

Good luck!!! ill cheers to your health

Ryan Morgan

Can't wait for the patreon raffle for George's gallbladder 😫

J Danger87

Thoughts with you man. I had mine removed years ago and I was sore for a few days after. But the procedure is much less invasive now so hopefully you'll just have some discomfort if anything. It will be ok.

Erdem

Wishing you a smooth procedure and recovery, George. Afterwards take care of yourself and enjoy the drugs😄.

Logan Kerlee

Thank you for the heads up George! :) You'll be fine, no worries.

Clint Murphy

Love to you, George, take care!

DinChild

I hope the procedure goes well. Feel free to take days off :-)

Young Blood Priest

Keep your head up baby bro. I’m sure everything will work out great.

nossieboy

Justtired

Thoughts are with you George

David O'Neal

I've had mine removed. You got this! Feel better soon!

Big Gee

Hope the surgery goes nice and smoothly. And a speedy recovery

akaTheBAY -AY-Ron

🖤Good luck with the surgery G-spot (we both know you low-key like that nickname), it'll be a cakewalk I'm sure. It will take more than a gallbladder removal to keep "The Administrator" down (you're on record saying you wished people called you "The Administrator" so if G-spot was a swing and a miss, well there you go LOL).

Hans Czajkowski Jørgensen

Good luck, George. Hoping to see you back in full swing as soon as you're ok again :)

Tarenor

I hope we will se some video with hospital food and out of window landscape ;-) GL, George.

Martin

Hope the surgery goes smoothly amigo 👍

gfixler

Will there be a CB contest to win George's gallbladder? 'Cause that would be gross. I mean... wtf?

Rob M

Good luck George!

The boy who cried WTF

I had this done a few years ago. It was better than I expected. Good luck!

Shibby

Wishing you a speedy recovery! Take all the time you need we aren't going anywhere. See you on the other side :D (but not you, you traitorous gall bladder)

Simon Pegged Me

🤞🏿🫰🏿Here's hoping everything goes well, but since you're acknowledging that they may not, would you consider taking some time on Monday to leave me your replica swords in your will? It would be a shame for misfortune to befall you and your swords. Thanks, buddy. You're the best!

Angela D. Mitchell

I hope your surgery is speedy and painless, and that your recovery is even more so! Please let us know you're okay. Sending good healing thoughts!

Rupert Purcat

All the best George, I expect to see Mr Gallbladder in a jar behind you in upcoming vids. Cheers

squarebrain

Is this your first surgery George? Be well soon

Orphan Crippler

My mum had her gallbladder removed years ago, the only affect it had on her life was she had to cut down on fatty/oily foods, and she gets a bit more acid reflux than normal people, so keep those tums handy

Maarten Martens

Memento being the memento for the upload date is quite ironic. In any case, take care and good luck!

Jasper Collins

Hope everything goes well. They've done it a million times if that brings any comfort. Don't worry about uploads!

Pearl Jam

Ugh, that sucks George. Hope it all goes well. I had mine removed 3.5 years ago, which just happened to be the week of my family’s XMas & New Years party. I was held up in Hospital for a week after surgery for monitoring, so I missed both parties. Mine wasn’t a planned surgery though, so I’m sure yours will ll go better than mine. Best of luck!

Brianna Williams

I had my gallbladder removed a few years ago. Enjoy those painkillers 🫠

Rooster Aleution

Good luck George! I had barely any pain after mine was taken out even though it was really infected. Get ready for your belly button to look different since that's typically where they make one of the small incisions for going in at.

CarolynK

If it helps, I had mine removed 3 years ago and it was an easy surgery and recovery. And after my body adapted to the change (a couple of months or so out), I was still able to eat anything I wanted, including fatty foods like cheeseburgers and pizza.🙂Good luck and take care of yourself first and foremost. Have you been in pain? (Best news - if you've been experiencing painful GB episodes, those will all disappear post-surgery).

RipTheRipper

Good luck and I'm sure things will go smoothly.

Scott CineRam

Dong de-dong, de-dong day-yay, how do you like your gall bladder? OUT! (Hope everything goes smoothly, George.)

DonkyDave

Good luck George! If you have to stay in hospital longer and are feeling 'lonely', hit me up because I've got some damn good pr0n I can send you

Joe

I had mine removed when I was very young. Got an awesome zip-like scar as a reminder. Welcome to the, er...club?

Russ Verbofsky

You will be sore for a few days but will recover quickly. There will be about 3 1/2 to 1-inch incisions instead of a 10-inch one. Take care!

Darin Foat

Good luck! I hope it all goes smoothly and you're back on the job soon. :)

Renee MeowMeow Beans

Hope all goes smoothly with your surgery, George, and that your healing time is speedy & calm. It goes without saying that your health (and Simone's) are WAAAAAAYYYYYY more important than new content. 👍🙂👍

Studio

I just had mine removed a few months ago, so here's some advice and what to expect: Firstly, it's gonna be really rough. The pain the first few days is a bit extreme, but don't worry... it subsides mostly within 2 week to a complete normal feeling. Your gonna feel like you got some ribs broken and moving is going to be insanely unpleasant (especially the next morning). But they're gonna give you strong meds, so take them accordingly. There's very few things that can go wrong with this surgery, especially since I assume you're getting the laparoscopic procedure. Bleeding and a bile leak are the biggest risks, but they are fairly rare so you shouldn't have much to worry about them. I would NOT recommend trying to do computer work that day or the next two days. Once the post-surgery meds wear off on that first day, you're gonna get a bit nauseous so try not to eat till the following day. The main issue is your diet after the procedure. The bile reflux is going to be absolutely wild for a little while as your body gets used to the concentration of a constant drip of bile into your middle stomach. They say anti-acids don't work because it's bile-reflux and not acid-reflux, but they do help a tad if you need to take them. Just don't overdo it as they can affect the absorption of medicine like pain pills. Watch out for eating too much fat or greasy foods for a while. Took me about 6 months to be able to eat fat without having a histamine fit and really bad burning and gas (I have MCAS, histamine issues so it will be easier on you probably). Just stay in bed for most of the first week and try to eat bread or something that can soak up acids. But try to avoid constipation, which will happen with too many anti-acids and too much bread. Fortunately, that's rare and most people get the total opposite so if you're going regularly, do what feels right. Good luck and take it easy, man!

Joel

George, do NOT stress yourself trying to keep to any kind of schedule during your recovery, I for one enjoy periodically rewatching reactions with the two of you, so take it easy, and make sure you heal right, not fast

JDressler

Mine was done may 28th.

Chris Brewer

When I had mine out it was same day surgery. In and out in less the 3 hours.

S C G

Wishing you a speedy recovery, George!

Ashkaun

My wife had her gallbladder removed. Fairly safe surgery and easy recovery. You got this!

Jorge Lopez

All the best, George! Hope everything goes smoothly and that you have a quick recovery!

Dirge Girl

Ye're gonna be fine. It's all good. [hug. pat-pat.]

Ginger

Wishing you all the best and a quick recovery! <3

hknit47

Sending healing vibes!!

Tall Paul

take it easy George

Ian M

Good luck George, hope the surgery goes well and you have a quick recovery.

Mark Alex Leach

All the best, mate. Been there, lost that. Not pleasant but better out than in.
