I can safely say that Ben-Hur is not a film I expected to see pop up on the channel.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Oh wow cool to see Ben-Hur pop up, considering it was the only 11-time Oscar winner until Return of The King it’s a true epic classic. Also can expect Grease by Frankie Valli to be in my head for a solid week too haha. Looking to be a fun week ahead!

Helly R

Woo Ben-Hur. Good choice.

Mitchell Bowker

Going “Old School” with the film selections this week 😁

Dragonhunter

If you wanna watch deadpool and wolverine when it releases it would be good to catch up to Logan if Simone hasn't seen it yet.

Deco

Gotta love something surprising on the channel

Inkpendude

Last time I saw Ben-Hur I was 7 years old, and I only remember that one part from the image. My brother used to play that scene with the chase music from Matrix 2 in the background.

Dirge Girl

Old School is gonna be a crack up.

Astraeos

Ben-Hur is a fantastic choice.

Richard B

Time to dust off that ole chariot. Ramming Speed!

FWPJR.

Heck yes!!!!!!! You two are finally going to react to Old School, I’m really looking forward to that reaction. It’s one of the best Will Ferrell movies ( imo ) and I’m sure most people would agree with me on that. But it’s not my favorite movie of his, but it’s in my top 5. I have no doubt that you two will love it and find it hilarious.

Kate

I’m not trying to be a hater - honestly, love you all, love the channel, love even the sometimes questionable choices of the patrons - but out of all the great musicals on that poll, Grease.

Shiby23

I just signed up for the arcane episodes and now they're sneaking into youtube! I got 2 LoTRs as a cherry on top with 1 to go. Might sneaks in a few more movies but was a fun monthly rental :D

Nathan Jasper

Grease is the word! This week's going to be good 😊

Alina

I would like to throw in a few movie suggestions: The impossible (2012) Society of the snow (2023)

Hur?

CD

Old School! YES!! That's Awesome!!

Ben-Hur is a true classic, by my favorite director of all time, William Wyler. Criticized for years by his fellow directors for not sticking to one genre, he made some amazing films, like Roman Holiday, the Best Years of Our Lives, How to Steal a Million, and Funny Girl. Also, Stephen Boyd as Messala. 👌🏻 So many people don’t realize that Grease was written as a parody musical and so it really wasn’t important to cast age-appropriate actors.

streaky

Old School is so underrated.

MasterElodin

I'm going to use this opportunity to distribute some Cloud Atlas propaganda again. Would love for you guys to check that out but it's probably not going to win any polls as it's too niche I feel like. But there are barely any reactions to it on YouTube and it's such a beautiful and unique movie I would love your guys' take on it :)

Björn Karlsson

How about a film with REAL teens, who talks and behaves like teens? I'm thinking about the swedish movie Fcuking Åmål aka Show me love. Elin here (from the movie) to the left likes my idea. But she is so shy 🙂🙂

Jordan Barnes

Damn I wanted to suggest Dazed & Confused (not sure what category it’d be in tbh) but it’s known for its fantastic soundtrack which would be a nightmare for George to edit… I couldn’t ask that of him.

Brandon Meng

I feel like Old School (and 40 Year Old Virgin and American Pie, but all three are unique) should get credit as the first of its type 2000s comedy. It opened the floodgates for movies like Wedding Crashers, and the Judd Apatow comedy era. Old School was also Will Ferrell's segue to other hits like Anchorman, Step Brothers, etc. Really a gateway 2000s comedy that a lot of people will hold dear due to nostalgia. Also enjoy the only other thing I've ever seen Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) act in lol

Maikeru Dagurasu

Please consider watching Double Dragon (1994), it‘s such a fun movie.. it‘s poorly rated on imdb though but who gives a fuck

Alex Ch

I do appreciate the schedules, even though I know they’re a little inconvenient for George. Thanks!

warcrimes

another reactor(s) doing Star Trek. *sigh*

MPH

Please keep doing at least one comedy per week.

droodly

So I see you did the stoner comedy reaction stoned. Will you be doing the musical reaction as a musical? please? :)

Sir Dongle

Ben-Hur? I hardly KNOW her

Trevor S Bright

I can't wait for Ben-Hur. Not only will George and Simone see Charlton Heston in his prime, but it'll be their 18th Oscar Best Picture winner they've reacted to. The others being: 1) Casablanca 2) Lawrence of Arabia 3) The Godfather 4) The Godfather Part II 5) Rocky 6) Amadeus 7) The Silence of the Lambs 8) Schindler's List 9) Forrest Gump 10) Braveheart 11) Titanic 12) Gladiator 13) LOTR: The Return of the King 14) The Departed 15) No Country for Old Men 16) Everything Everywhere All at Once 17) Oppenheimer

Dioskur

Ben Hur is great news, just now I need to find a source bc all I found last time i searched was a translated version on amazon...

ScottishSammo

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned before but U.S. Marshals is a great movie, it's coming to Netflix next week. A fun spin off from The Fugitive with Tommy Lee Jones
