Damn, X-Men Origins. I still remember watching the leaked Workprint with the wires, greenscreens and previz stuff.

Lee Fernee

Would really like for you to watch dead man shoes. That is a amazing film.

Śéáń

Oh neat, good lineup.

JoshG

I know origins gets a lot of hate, and some of it is definitely justified, but there are some pretty great moments in that movie.

Endling_king

Wolverine isn't considered all that great but it's one of my favorite. CGI is a bit painful but if you get past that it's a good story!

Itbewhatitbe

i hope you guys are doing all the xmen leading up to deadpool 3!

jmundt33a

They’re going to see why Reynolds felt Deadpool had to happen.

WalrusWallace

Gran Torino! Great movie! Tore me to shreds

Jean-Dominic Lapointe

Origins is a necessary stepping stone toward Deadpool, but… yeah, not every moment in this movie is great.

Dragonhunter

Oh and if you need more horror movies definitely add Child's Play (1988) to the list!

Dazzler & Em

Gran Torino 👍👍👍. great film, very emotional and brutal.

Robb

Monthly request to add Everest 2015 to a poll or list or anywhere Pls🤞

Mikebdrx

So when you post what moves/shows are coming next week, does that mean you both have already watched them and they are just waiting to be released?

Stugotz

Not a fan of Wolverine Origins but I'm glad you guys are going through the Wolverine films so you can get to Logan.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Gonna be a fun journey leading to Deadpool and Wolvie if Sunday’s any indication 😉 Also Eastwood is fantastic in Gran Torino

Maikeru Dagurasu

So excited for Gran Torino, you‘ll love it.

FWPJR.

Well, I’m already looking forward to Thursday. Gran Torino is such a great movie, I’m sure Simone ( and maybe George ) will cry watching it because it’s a pretty sad movie with some funny moments. I just love the story of the movie, so it’ll be another great watch along. And of course I can’t wait for Tuesday because of BCS, I still haven’t watched this week’s reaction. But I’ll probably finish those tonight.

rictus grin

i am surprised X-men origins has any fans

A remark regarding To Kill a Mockingbird. SPOILERS AHEAD: I just watched the first half of the movie the other night for the first time and I noticed that the movie focuses heavily on the kids, which I didn‘t expect; I don‘t think it‘s necessarily a bad thing it‘s just unusual that we don‘t see who the main character will defend (we just know it’s a black man and we also meet a racist father from the victim’s family in a few scenes) and even when the main character visits the black family for the first time, we stay on the kids (we don‘t follow him into the house and what he‘s talking about with the culprit‘s wife). After an hour movie time, when the racist mob demands the alleged killer’s head, the kids are there again, in the middle of the night. Does the book also focuses more on the kids‘ POV?

MDvortex

Finally Gran Torino I'm excited...

Michal Novotny

Looking forward to Star Trek episodes each week as I never really got into it myself and now I have someone to watch it with. I would love to recommend Stargate, though. It’s a huge franchise but kinda overlooked imo compared to Star Trek and Star Wars. At least give the Emmerich movie from 1994 a try if not the show itself :-)

Shonnicus

Clint Eastwoods last, best "Get Off My Lawn" character turn before the movies after Gran Tarino where not that great.

Happy Hanukkah

Hey everybody, have you heard? They're gonna watch "To Kill a Mockingbird"!

Khan1001

Oh Man, Gran Tarino, gonna need some tissues :(

Jonathan

Those Thursday uploads have been awesome

Dirge Girl

... apropos of nothing... Gross Pointe Blank (1997) [Comedy/Action] PCU (1994) [Comedy/Satire] One Crazy Summer (1986) [Comedy/Romance] Very Bad Things (1998) [Comedy/Thriller]

Terry Light

Oh gran torino..this should be good

Brandon Meng

Audibly gasped when I saw Gran Torino on the list

Arthur Pinheiro

first clint eastwood film lets gooooo, please you guys, we need your reaction to million dollar baby

Kozmo

I’m kind of shocked neither of you have seen To Kill A Mocking Bird. A feel like it was and might still be a staple of the grade 10-11 English curriculum. I remember watching the movie in class after reading the book. I think I’m around the same age as Geogre and Simone.

Tom M

So does this mean they’ll get to The Wolverine and Days of Future Past eventually? Those are good.

BoredLittleLady

i love that you guys are going to continue watching the X-Men movies in order... I'm sure you've heard this before but, just be sure to end the series of movies with "Logan" because it has the better ending than "New Mutants" or "Dark Phoenix" . And if I may take this opportunity to give a recommendation, please watch the animated series. I love X-Men from the 90s and X-Men Evolution also!

Ashkaun

Yay! More Xmen!! Please continue with the Xmen

Reece Chapford

French Kiss 1995 The Graduate 1967 H⚡P Anniversary 2022 Panic Room 2002 Carrie 1976 Ozark 2017

erosennin

Man, I didn't even see the other dates, I just saw Gran Turino August 5th, checked my date and started scrolling down -_-

M.C.G

Man, I had forgotten that the same guy who directed X-Men Origins also directed the excellent South African film Tsotsi, quite a . . . tonal range in filmmaking

sol stapleton

Can we get the Dollor trilogy. By Sergio lione

Michal Novotny

So is Star Trek but yeah, 10 seasons is a lot 😅

Corabal
