boy the bcs crowd sure is quiet. is the interest gone now? can we get them to watch another show now and not continue this?

ExquisiteCapybara

i mean..theyre also watching Star Trek and The penguin and there just was a poll about what show to watch between BCS season 2 and the next season. so you get your wish.

Tsuyama

ya but are they gonna return to this show after? cause if all the BCS that clamored for this isnt here to watch the weekly releases. then who are they doing this for? like with Penguin at least theres a couple dozen ppl who seems interested in it every week. and even more so for star trek. but this show.. its silent. not a single comment besides the two of us.

The cost of law school obviously varies by school; Harvard, for instance, is about $77k per year. However, University of New Mexico, where Kim got her degree, is only about $20k per year for in-state students, which Kim would fall under (out of state is $45k). And that's the current tuition rate. It obviously would have been much lower when Kim was going there, and given this is set in the early 2000s, that would mean she was getting her law degree probably in the 1997-2000 range, I'd guess. Also, it's wild how much higher tuition rates have gotten. My brother got his law degree from Syracuse so I just decided to look it up, and today it's about $62k per year, but when he was there, it was about $27k. That was about 20 years ago. It's wild how it's more than doubled in that time. (Sorry for the long rant; a few years back I looked into doing an online masters program with Syracuse's communications school - I went to undergrad there as well - and was absolutely FLOORED to see that it was $60k per year... for ONLINE classes. Needless to say, I decided I was fine without my masters.)

ShōNuff3K

George is an excellent plot detective and Simone is a very observant tower of right and wrong. Also, that was a great Matthew McConaughey impersonation by Simone.

ShōNuff3K

I believe that movie Mike was watching on TV was Cary Grant in, His Girl Friday. Highly rated. I liked it.

Jeff K.

They're definitely going to return to BCS. It's early in the day, not everyone has had a chance to actually watch the reaction yet to comment. BCS consistently gets 80-100 comments each week (you can go back and look, if you think that's an exaggeration). The interest is absolutely there. And also: George and Simone are very clearly loving the show. So, who are they watching this for? Themselves, in addition to the people who love the show and are here to watch their reactions to it.

Maiki

a) i can obviously only speak for myself, but no, the interest isn't gone at all. in fact it grows and grows. b) penguin reaction is released the same day the actual episode is released, it's a new show, i guess that's a pretty good reason for more desire to instantly comment and talk about it. c) last weeks BCS release had 82 comments.

Boogie_Down_Professor

Speaking from the East Coast, this was posted 8AM on a workday, so many probably won't have time to watch nearly two hours of reaction until the evening. I teach an afternoon class, so I've been sneaking in portions as a break from preparation. it's likely that many who watch this have seen the show before, so they may be more selective or amped to watch reactions to particular episodes. Better Call Saul is a serialized drama that plants seeds along the way that pay off in the later seasons, even though the dramatic exposition is powerful throughout and worth re-visiting for many like myself. Whatever the reason, they seem experienced and smart enough to choose how they're dedicating their time, with due consideration of their patrons as well as their own preferences. I respect them enough not to offer unsolicited suggestions that do not pertain the content they've posted. It sounds such suggestions just a source of stress and never helpful, in spite of the good intentions of the people who post them.

Philipp Roensch

I've got a bit of a different take on Chuck, I find him exposing his illness just to take away a deal from Kim, by extension Jimmy, as a petty move. Judging his full character, I'll leave for further discussion later, though. But yes, awesome episodes, Kim really had some decisions to make about her independence here and I love these scenes to pause and think. Jimmy made a cool logo for a business card, but I think the cutout is never something a stuck-up law firm would approve, it betrays the integrity of the card^^. Funny you also called out the show teaching forgery by Jimmy, but Mike just putting nails in a hose is already normalized :D.

Stugotz

Oh wow, I just noticed that the realtor in episode 7 that shows Mike and his daughter the house is the same realtor from Breaking Bad that catches Marie stealing from houses. The actress lost some weight so it was hard to recognize her.

Stugotz

If you look at the other episodes you'd see they get pretty good engagement. Also they seem to really be enjoying the show, so maybe try to find something else you enjoy.

Kozmo

they seem to be enjoying it and i am enjoying them watch it too so no. And this is coming from someone who didn't initially want them to watch it

myinniemademedoit

Video drops at 8am on a Tuesday morning. Most people work during those hours of the day…

Tay Schumaker

Tuition may be lower than you think, but most law schools won't allow you to work for at least the first year, so you have to get loans to cover your living expenses if you don't have another income or money saved to cover it. For three years of covering that, getting into 6figures is pretty normal. The only people I know that came out of law school with little to no debt either had it paid for by someone else, were aggressively frugal (lived at home, spent almost no money on anything) or had a lot of scholarships. Source: am lawyer with so much student loan debt.

2026-09-09 01:00 I really like that they show the tiny close up detail of Jimmy's altered documents being slightly worse quality than the originals because they're copies of copies. And Jimmy's history in the HHM mailroom letting him know exactly what paper they use so the forgery can be that much better, love it. Things did not go well for Kim when she got caught between Jimmy and Howard. I'm excited (and nervous) to see what happens now that she's caught between Jimmy and Chuck.

I don't get it. It's a two-hour video and you ask two hours after it posts if there even is interest? Factor in the following: 1. Time zones: where I live, this video drops early afternoon when I'm still working. 2. Everybody's not reloading the page every few seconds, waiting for the video to drop. Some people might prefer to watch later in the day. 3. Not everyone comments. I rarely comment. The video has almost 200 views after four hours, I'd say there is interest. 4. If there are others like me, I don't always watch these videos on release. I mostly wait for a season to be finished so I can watch it on my own time, without waiting a week for a new video. The BCS crowd is alive. I assume you're not a BCS fan. If so, then chill, my dude. I don't watch the Trek or Penguin videos, or the Black Mirror ones - I don't care about those shows. Doesn't mean others don't.

mky

Wow, a stress dream about a job where you're basically your own boss. That's intense. :)

Wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man! Wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man! Wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man!

Monica Alarcon

Breaking Bad and this show has terrible female characters. Skyler became almost as bad as Walter, Marie is a cleptomaniac, Jane did drugs and Kim eats hot dogs weird... (Just joking, Kim is awesome)

Dragonhunter

Youtube shows 700-1000 views for each of the Better Call Saul videos. The last poll had around 3000 votes. So around a third of the active Patrons seem to enjoy the show. They release videos 5 times a week, 6 times now with The Penguin. I'm sure you'll find something you enjoy. Also most important, Simone and George are enjoying it alot, so why should they stop just because you don't like it?

Dragonhunter

I'm always surprised how many times Simones guesses are on point. Like the first episode this week with the Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tubemen.

Dragonhunter

I have seen this 3 times now and everytime I see it I think you would totally see the border of the cutout numbers because it would cast a light shadow but I always wonder if that's true. Would be interesting to know if it would actually work.

Actuarial Lurker

I rum ny own business and have lots of work-related stress dreams about my clients and projects

Dragonhunter

You forgot about Lydia! She uses Stevia.

Monica Alarcon

OMG I know. What an awful person. I mean Stevia??? Geez

mky

I guess we're all the clients in Simone's dream? OR...maybe it was just a dream about a croissant. ;)

Sergio Meira

The clearest interpretation of Simone's work dream is that she subconsciously agrees she and George should start dating.

Zinphad

Never caught that.

Actuarial Lurker

That was an important flashback- we learn that Walter White became petty and driven by what people thought of him when he watched his father die of Huntingtons and told Walt Jr. he didn't want his kids to see him as weak. We see Jimmy pushed along the path he takes later by watching a grifter rip off his push-over father. So they BOTH had "daddy issues". neither really BECAME Heisenberg or Saul during these shows- they already had the past father-related traumas that helped formed their weak male egos

Sergio Meira

I'd still defend Howard a bit. After all, he defended Jimmy to Cliff of Davis and Main only to be disappointed by him, and ended up with a bad impression of Kim's judgment. He may be exaggerating a bit, but it's not like there's no reason for him to be mad at Kim -- as she herself knew he would if Jimmy screwed up.

DCray

The truck at the border says "regalo helado" on the side. Helado means ice cream in Spanish. Also, did y'all notice the hotdog place is also in Breaking Bad? It's where Jessie purchases the gun in Season 1.

Sergio Meira

That first scene, with the "there are wolves and sheep in this world" philosophy... Jimmy tried to warn his father -- as even Chuck would say, he has a good heart. But the guy was implicitly calling Jimmy's father sheep -- a 'sucker', a 'mark' -- and after Jimmy having seen it happen several times, he decided his father was, after all, a sheep (did he ever check if Jimmy was actually sweeping?). He didn't like it -- you can tell by his expression -- but he admitted it nonetheless. And that's how Slippin' Jimmy was born. BCS fans often discuss this scene, because it is easy to view it as a villain's origin story (if it weren't so prosaic...). As always in BCS, I think everything depends on whether or not you think people can change. This certainly influenced Jimmy and warped his perception in some sense. But was that the only thing to influence him? Weren't there any good actions, any real cases of people in need his father helped ('and what if you're wrong, Jimmy?') that pointed in the opposite direction? Slippin' Jimmy is not just a product of that scene. He can't be. He is a human being, and like all human beings has a soul, the capacity to think, and make choices. And much more than that. The funny thing about stories like BCS is that two people can watch all of it and still legitimately get to two completely opposite conclusions -- "people can change" or "people never change". "People are the product of their environment" or "there's something in people that transcends environments". Just like... real life, I guess.

Jeff K.

Went reading through that in anticipation of a mention of Kim and I was about to throw hands because NO ONE badmouths Kim Wexler on my watch. (I want a hot dog now, though...)

Actuarial Lurker

That Truck is Hector's version of Pollos- he uses ice cream trucks and food trucks for his Mexican food to smuggle to that restaurant

Jeff K.

Agreed. I like Howard. He's smug and arrogant and pompous, but just like Jimmy, he does have a good heart, deep down.

Deco

BCS loves a good montage

Sergio Meira

"If he wasn't Slippin' Jimmy..." Ah, but is he? Or is Slippin' Jimmy a character he developed that he could shed if need be? Do people change? If any of you two had to change, for some important reason... would you be able to? Or do you think it would be impossible? :-)

Sergio Meira

"I think I enjoy Jimmy's illegal activities more than Walter White's because... [there are no obvious victims]." I'd add also because Jimmy is the 'adorable scoundrel' stereotype personified. He enjoys what he does so much, and he is so good at it, and it makes so obviously happy, and who doesn't like to see happy Jimmy? And yet... As in the case of forging evidence, Jimmy has clearly done something illegal. That we can still sympathize with him and want him to succeed just shows how much a character can influence us via charm and charisma. One wonders what Jimmy's life would have been like if he had neither. Also, maybe Jimmy's actions didn't have an innocent victim suffering right now... but maybe they did. He's hurting HHM; what if they end up having to lay off good people like Omar because of that? Would you say this is Jimmy's fault? And what if Jimmy did something that actually had an obvious innocent victim? Would you suddenly think differently of him? It's interesting to see how much our desire to forgive or not forgive someone's small peccadillos (or even not-so-small peccadillos) boils down to that person's charm. To whether or not they make us smile or laugh. Isn't it easy to see why young Jimmy could have seen this as some sort of superpower at an early age, and wondered how far he could get by simply being adorable?...

REDR58

It’s interesting seeing the old mail drop in the waiting area when Mike walks up to Jimmy. You can see an envelope drop down from an upper floor. I haven’t seen one of those in years.

mky

The black and white movie on Mike's TV at then end of episode 8 is "His Girl Friday" (1940), a fantastic screwball comedy starring Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell, directed by Howard Hawks. It features the rapid-fire back-and-forth dialog later used in shows like "Gilmore Girls", for example. "His Girl Friday" is one of my favorites, and would make a great movie for a Cinebinge reaction.

REDR58

Simone, you are a Pink Floyd fan, right? I think I’ve seen you wear Floyd shirts on here? And you didn’t pick up on “A Momentary Lapse of Reason” when Jimmy told Omar to forget the resignation letter?? https://youtu.be/24acKu4Udlk?si=oBJhCYdbq9kOyofr 😄

8bitAndy

The hospital I work at still uses pneumatic tube systems to deliver samples. It's wild to see old tech like that in the computer age.

Dan Holmes

The next 2 episodes are so good, as well as the next 4 seasons lol

Jesse Coombs

Mike was watching an older Cary Grant movie. I'm not sure which one it is, probably "His Girl Friday"? It would be a fun reaction. Cary Grant movies are great.

Jeff K.

Agreed. It's wild how the first two seasons, in retrospect, almost feel like prologue to the actual story.

Jeff K.

Speaking of Cary Grant: I'd like to start a petition to get George and Simone to watch North by Northwest, my absolute favorite Hitchcock film and one of my favorite films ever made.

REDR58

My sister lives in a house in the South that’s not nearly as nice that house in the show (from the limited view) that she and her husband paid almost 3 times as much as the upper end you mentioned, is about 60 years old and needs a ton of work. My parents in Pennsylvania paid 350K for their home 10 years ago with 3 times my sister’s lot size and almost double the square footage of the building. It all depends where you are in the US.

caru chdi

Will you be posting anything related to trip? Maybe like photos of the area, the food, etc.?

Brandon

A Cary Grant poll needs to be a thing. 😆

PIG

"Hey Cliff, for what it's worth, I think you're a good guy." "For what it's worth, I think you're an asshole."

Sergio Meira

Cliff also strikes me as a guy who tried. He gave Jimmy what he thought Jimmy needed, and if it wasn't what he needed, well, it's not Cliff's fault. As he asked Jimmy, what exactly did I do wrong to you? How did I deserve what you did? And Jimmy had no answer. But note that Jimmy knows he was wrong in this matter. Enough that you could see his saying "I think you're a good guy" to Cliff is an admission, as if he had said, "I know I'm the bad guy in this." Jimmy is ashamed. Not enough not to do what he did, or even to confess it to anyone else, but still... he is ashamed.

Mikeo8575

I have that same sort of dream all the time, Where I am trying to get somewhere for some reason or other, and I keep getting delayed and sidetracked by completely random shit. lol

Ste Rawlings

Love em both but they are both a touch too forgiving or unforgiving of a person's actions and motives depending on whether they like the character or not. Which in this season particularly has me slightly concerned about later seasons.

PIG

Well said!

Rob Bob

Aint no way lmao

Joe Lazarus

I guess... Jimmy's commercial was genuinely good and well executed, and Cliff's opposition to it was because he was solely interested in the appearance of his company? More important while he was totally right to bring Jimmy to task for the solo run, the dressing down he gave him could have been much more measured. However, that said...I don't think Jimmy was ashamed of anything. He just wanted out. Jimmy telling him that he was a good guy and that he would pay for the table was his way of telling Cliff that it wasn't his fault unlike his experience at HHM where Chuck and Howard sabotaged him. At the end of the day, Jimmy didn't want to be there no matter what perks they were throwing at him or how fair Cliff was. He only did it for Kim.

REDR58

That “Fifi” thing, that’s new to me! Reminds me of “fanny.” Huh. I have been fortunate to see the B-29 “Fifi” twice in person when it visited Pennsylvania. I believe George is referring to that aircraft with his mention of “Boeing.” It is owned and operated by the Commemorative Air Force: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFI_(aircraft) Edit: Seems I spoke too soon, the airplane is shown!

JBK405

Something I don't see commented much, but I think the scene with Clifford Main where he fires Jimmy specifically sets him up as defying the wolf/sheep dynamic that was introduced in the opening Jimmy obviously sees himself as a 'wolf', and he probably sees Chuck as a wolf as well since -- despite being very straight-edge with the law -- he's hard and vicious when he has to be. Jimmy probably classifies everybody who's not on the same level as the two of them as a 'sheep', whether they're criminals or not. And on the surface Cliff seems to match that sheep label since he's stodgy and old-fashioned and Jimmy thinks he can easily con him out of the sign-on bonus. Especially when Cliff knuckles under and agrees to give him the money. But Cliff knows EXACTLY what Jimmy is up to. He sees right through him. He's not a gullible mark like Jimmy's father, he can tell that this guy's car hasn't really broken down. But unlike a shark, who out of pride and spite would FIGHT to get Jimmy fired for malfeasance so he can't keep his bonus, Cliff is choosing not to engage in this fight. Because it's not worth it to him. Jimmy isn't worth his time or his effort. Loser bottom feeders may obsess over "wolves" and "sheep", but the winners go home to their mansions and eat their steak and don't think about the losers at all. Cliff is stodgy and old-fashioned and a pushover...and once Jimmy is out of the building Cliff will resume his life as a respected lawyer and not dwell on whether or not he's a wolf.

Rob Bob

A truly amazing film, they NEED to watch it eventually

mky

Mmmmmaybe.

If the Dog House does it right the bun edges were dipped in melted butter and crisped on the griddle so even just biting bread would be delicious.

JBK405

Also, the flashback shows that Chuck was right AND wrong about Jimmy and their father: Jimmy does steal from the til, we see that plain and simple. This may have been the first time, but it certainly wasn't the last time. He may not have stolen all $14,000 that Chuck couldn't account for -- he probably didn't even take half -- but even 'only' $5,000 in mid-'70s money is upwards of $30,000 today. But he wasn't the ONLY person stealing from their father. Do you think Chuck believed Jimmy for a second when he denied taking the other $9,000? Do you think Chuck accepted when their father tried to say "No, no, I helped out a guy last week who needed some spare change" and didn't think he was just covering for Jimmy? He probably viewed Jimmy as the sole obstacle to their father's success. Chuck is almost always right about Jimmy, and at the same time he is almost always wrong about him as well.

Adam Vialpando

One of the major things that makes Jimmy more likeable than Walt is that at heart Jimmy is a con man. People forget that 'con' is short for 'confidence', and for good reason. People think of con men as these slimy greasy snakes (which they are), but a successful con involves convincing the other person that you are the opposite. This involves acting but a good chunk is also just natural charisma, which Jimmy has in spades

Adam Vialpando

Jimmy views himself as blameless while Chuck blames everything on Jimmy. As with all problems between those two the answer is in the middle.

Adam Vialpando

So I have another show suggesstion for you,if you want to see Mike in a very different but still compelling role he was a supporting actor on a show called Wiseguy that I really loved, you can find it on peacock

Simon Pegged Me

I agree: His Girl Friday is a wonderful film, and worth G&S reacting to. I think they might like it.

Simon Pegged Me

Your experience mirrors that of one of my closest friend's. His tuition and fees alone for his law degree were almost $120,000. Room and board were another $45,000 over three years. They were expected to find internships or jobs during the summer months, but they were prohibited from working during the school year. He joked that his first case should have been a lawsuit against the university for the costs of the final two years of law school, since practically everything needed to pass the bar and practice was taught in the first year.

MarisoL

Omg no wonder she looked familiar

Simon Pegged Me

I'm not a lawyer. Everything I know about the law I learned from watching legal dramas, but I can't help thinking that what Chuck is doing is fraud. He retains the client Kim brought to HHM by misrepresenting his ability to function as a partner and as counsel to Mesa Verde. Though he's still a formidable legal mind, he hides what a toll something as simple as a 15-minute pitch meeting takes on him in his present condition, and misleads Mesa Verde into how involved he is as a partner and how much work he can do for them as counsel. If they knew the truth, they would not have stayed with HHM. They still may have passed over Kim for a larger firm, but Chuck's presence would not have been the asset the firm sold it as. And as you pointed out, he didn't come to the meeting because HHM needs Mesa Verde's billings. He did it because he wrongly believed Mesa Verde would become a client of Jimmy's, and that Jimmy would screw up and sully the McGill name in the legal community. If his actions don't amount to fraud—as I said, I'm not a lawyer—they sure are unethical. For Kim, the snowball started rolling towards a partnership with Jimmy when she responded to the question of what she wanted with "More." It gained momentum when she shook Rick's hand and called him Howard. In that moment, she realized she wouldn't get more from being a partner with them. She'd get the same. This would be exactly as Jimmy said, "a lateral move." The avalanche came when she looked at the split logo and realized she didn't have form a firm to be with Jimmy; they could be separate and work together. If they were Wexler-McGill, she would be responsible legally and financially for any of Jimmy's questionable practices, unethical behavior, and criminal acts. If they're Wexler and McGill, separate practices sharing infrastructure and resources, they could work side by side without dragging each other down. But I don't think Chuck will let them. He hates having Jimmy practicing law so much. Now, all I want to know is how Kim got to Arizona. She sounds like she was chased there by something awful.

8bitAndy

Chuck seems very aware of who his father was and he would have no reason not to take his father at his word if he said he took money out of the register to help a 'customer in need'. It doesn't change the fact the Jimmy was stealing from his own father. Chuck definitely isn't wrong about Jimmy. Wrong about the dollar amount, maybe, but not wrong about Jimmy.

Ryan S.

Because I don't have too many folks to celebrate with, I'd like to say that I just found out I passed the Michigan Bar exam! Better Call Saul started the year before I started law school. I watched this entire show with my father who unfortunately passed away last year to pancreatic cancer. While it took me a while to pass this exam due to personal struggles, it feel great to be done with this. Needless to say, I'll be celebrating tonight with these two episodes and a nice stiff drink.

Śéáń

Whenever George talked about his love of 'competancy porn', I always thought "He's going to just love Kim once they start BCS" These episodes are really letting her shine through. I love her character. Rhea Seehorn is just wonderful in the role.

Angzarr

He didn't have to take care of Kim's school debt when she left, either.

Angzarr

I was a bit worried that S&G were going to be too distracted talking about Trader Joe's to notice how awesome that (Emmy-nominated!) opening oner in Fifi was. I was so relieved when George picked up on it. And right after the episode with that amazing montage! Truly this team was firing on all cylinders... writing, acting, editing, visual effects, and every other department is just nailing it.

Sergio Meira

I'm a bit sad they apparently missed the "Fifi" on the airplane in front of which Jimmy did that ad recording with his UNM student crew...

gfixler

Them: It's gotta be chicken! Me: The truck says "Regalo Helado" ("Ice Cream Gift") on every surface. The guy: [pulls out popsicle] Me: Thanks, Duolingo.

Sergio Meira

I think both of you are right. It's undeniable that Jimmy stole from the register. It's also undeniable that he tried to help his father avoid con men. Jimmy clearly has good and evil in him. The question, to me, is: does that make his development unavoidable? Chuck thought so, but Chuck was also clearly envious of Jimmy's charisma. Looking at their relationship, I think: if Chuck could like Jimmy a little better (we know he liked Jimmy--I remember him saying "I would also have done this for you" when Jimmy took care of him--but the bad feelings always got in the way). Are people fated to be who they are now? Did you have to be who you are, or could you have developed differently? Did Mike have to become a hitman? Did Fring have to become a meth dealer -- couldn't he just run Los Pollos Hermanos and get rich selling chicken? When we regret past decisions, are we regretting things that really formed/changed us, or would we have ended up more or less in the same place anyway? That's the question of BCS, isn't it?

Sergio Meira

Interestingly, this show has many rich people who are actually and actively trying to be good guys. Cliff is clearly one of them. But being good doesn't fit in the wolf-vs.-sheep dichotomy that Jimmy sometimes uses (not all the time -- he's not asking himself if Kim is a wolf or a sheep, for instance, he just loves her). So he doesn't know how to deal with it. And it shows. Because Cliff goes beyond just seeing through Jimmy's trick, he's not just the mark that turns out to be smarter than the con artist thought. Cliff directly asks him, "so, what did I do wrong? In what way did I fail you? What did I do that made you just adopt this negative attitude?" And Jimmy... has no answer. Because he knows good-vs.-bad just doesn't fit in wolf-vs.-sheep, and he is... ashamed. There's enough good in him to see that what he did was totally... wrong. Which is why Jimmy (sheepishly, if you allow me) says to Cliff he considers him one of the good guys. Just to her Cliff call him an asshole. Cliff did everything right. And Jimmy has a conscience, enough of it at least to feel ashamed. That's why he's still far from being Saul Goodman.

Brien

Law school in the US is 30-50k PER YEAR, not total.

SpankTheMonk

If you ever watch Crocodile Dundee 2, Rich Schweikart makes an appearance!

Nate

Something I find interesting but have never seen anyone mention (maybe they did here but I didn't read every comment) is that while what Jimmy does at the end of "Fifi" is absolutely illegal and inexcusable I can't help but put a little blame on both Howard and Chuck. Not because they were being petty, they have the right to attempt to retain their client the same as Kim. But they both went in to that meeting to convince Kevin that HHM is was the safer option despite them both knowing about Chuck's condition. They even purposefully hide it from Kevin and Paige. And immediately Chuck takes those classified files home and passes out on the couch. Now I'm not saying he should have expected Jimmy to do what he did or anything like that, but if Chuck had kept the files at the office and worked on them at the office during business hours or handed them off to someone who was capable of working at the office then those files would never have been in danger of being tempered with. Not that I wouldn't have put it past Jimmy to try to enter the building under the guise of helping Chuck with something again. Anyway just an interesting thought experiment.
