Tight writing and great performances. I am loving this and I don't get sucked into TV shows very often. The fact that you change your emotions about each character from episode to episode is really something else.

What an awesome damn show, the one since Better Call Saul where I feel the need to drop everything and watch it right away. Always enjoy Simone and George's commentary and reactions, it completes the experience, especially those thumbnails 😂. George, last episode you asked if there were more "mega" families in Gotham, multigenerational, rich families. In the gold summit of criminals, Penguin incites and instigates them against Sophia and the Maronis by bringing up the Elliot bridge, built by the hard labor of the workers as the bosses on top dismiss them with disdain, take them for granted, with ungrateful contempt for being lowly, and the rich benefit and steal from the blood of the workers. In the comics, depending on the current continuity or alternate universes after apocalyptic reality-changing cosmic events, the founding and influential families of Gotham are: 1. The Waynes. 2. The Arkhams. (obvious reference) 3. The Kanes. (as in née- Martha Kane, and her niece Katherine Kane, a.k.a. Batwoman) 4. The Cobblepots. (as in Oswald, The Penguin) 5. The Elliots. (as in the bridge, as in Thomas Elliot, childhood friend of Bruce and the villain known as Hush, Easter-egged in The Batman, 2022) 6. The Crowes. (the first Robin, Richard Grayson, descended from them and William Cobb, an enforcer warrior of the Court of Owls, an very, very old and powerful cabal of evil influential wealthy families, a secret society for influence and power at all levels in Gotham. The family Powers, members of the Court, will give birth to Derek Powers, the main villain in the animated Batman Beyond, when Bruce is in his 80s and Terry McGuinness is the new young Batman ) 7. The Dumas ( in the Gotham TV show exiled and changed their name to Galavans , based on the comic's religious cult The Order of Saint Dumas, leading to their enforcer Azrael, Jean-Paul Valley being the most important, as he takes over as a Batman that goes mentally insane after Banes cripples Bruce Wayne) There are a BUNCH of crime families in the comics, cartoons, movies. Of note for the comics, are the Sionis, or the False Face Society created by the villain Black Mask, Roman Sionis, wearing a mask carved from the coffin of his dead father. Born of wealth but hating the hypocrisy of his parents, Black Mask really messes with Catwoman and The Spoiler, one of Batman's protégés. Another crime family of note are the Bertinellis, murdered and wiped out, and their sole surviving daughter Helena grows up to become The Huntress, another vigilante ally of Batman and family. In another timeline, Helena Wayne, The Huntress, was the daughter of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle.
