One of the best horror miniseries of all time — enjoy guys!

Śéáń

It's time! Very excited. Flanagan's shows are some of the best stuff Netflix has produced. My only fear for this watchalong is that, as is the case with many shows like this with a passionate fan base, this one in particular has a few "aragorn kicking the helmet" style stuff with regards to both show production and character development that I'm sure people are just bursting to point out in the comments, just hopefully not prematurely. But I'm really looking forward to the next couple weeks. I think the episodes actually pair up nicely for the most part too, for a show that's released with binge watching in mind. Edit: what I was hoping wouldn't happen has already happened in under 10 comments 😬

Garin

Let's goo!!! This is such a good series for reactions.

BubblyRainbows

OMG, this just made my day! I've been hoping you would do "The Haunting of Hill House" since before I was even a Patron. So excited! Let's go!!!

Smooticus

I've eagerly been awaiting you guys to see this Also, be sure to look in all the corners and backgrounds - there are ghosts everywhere in this house

Kaushik Sethunath

Oh man, I’m so excited to see you guys experience this together, especially for the spooky season! Hopefully this can and Doctor Strange can serve as a good on-ramp into the Flanaganverse! The man has a unique voice in horror that single handedly got me into the genre.

Jeff K.

Unrelated: does that poster behind Simone mean she's seen Fleabag? Well, damn, there goes a show I was hoping they'd eventually react to on the channel, if she's already seen it (obviously they still could, of course).

Smooticus

I believe Mike Flannigan would do an excellent remake of The Changeling with George C Scott. Another atmospheric horror movie that Flannigan excells at

Inkpendude

it could be another show that simone watched but it's new to George, still fun to watch

Stugotz

Nice! Just in time for Spooky Season! LOL sorry George 😂

djKENTO

Doctor Sleep you mean? haha. Doctor Strange is a good on-ramp to Scott Derrickson and C Robert Cargill films tho like Black Phone and Sinister.

Kaushik Sethunath

Oh whoops, total brain fart hahaha. I thought Doctor Sleep and invested so much thought in whether I should spell the word out fully, or abbreviate it to Dr., that I nonsensically typed out Strange instead of Sleep 😂

FaceMustache

Hell yeah Haunting of Hill House! That shit is so damn good. If you end up enjoying it, you should definitely watch Mike Flanagan’s other Netflix stuff, Midnight Mass most of all.

Josip Buretić

Yes please!! My favorite Flanagan's show

lisa

Kung Fu Pow Boondock Saints

DonkyDave

They've been following this pattern for a long time and they also highlighted it multiple times, don't blame them if you can't read

Jeff K.

Yeah, this is what they've always done. I first subscribed the day they started The Wire, and they've been following this pattern at least since then, because while I would love for them to carry forward with a show I love, I also realize I'm not the only person in their audience and others might not enjoy the same shows that I do, and they deserve to have content they like, too. I think the way George and Simone do things is about as fair as it gets.

Brandon

ngl This isn't my first time seeing people react to Hill House and it's kind of funny how many people miss seeing young Theo. She's the first person young Steven talks to when he goes to check on Nell at the very start and she's in the front passenger seat of the car when Steven is taken out of the house by Hugh. I missed it too, it's just the way the episode is edited I suppose. This is a really good show for raising the brightness or gamma on your monitor a bit. There's stuff in the background sometimes that can be easily missed if you tend to keep your screen a bit dark like I usually do.

lisa

There should be a quarterly calendar with tentpole show schedules. Pinned. Or at least so if you’re new, you don’t have to go searching for it only to be surprised when you pull a show and then I comment and then everyone else tells me to fuck myself as though I’m somehow both stupid *and* evil and not just someone who has very little extra money to spend on shit that brings me joy, like this subscription is, theoretically, supposed to. EDIT: I’m not replying to comments. Y’all can tell me I’m wrong all that you want—I stand by my desire for clearer communication. Which has nothing to do with anyone else.

Tsuyama

no, everyone told you to go fuck yourself cause you blamed S&G for something you decided to not read even though its plastered everywhere. literally the last video of better call saul has whats coming this week and when they will return to the show repeated over and over again, and you chose not to read it. then you get mad. having a quaterly calendar doesnt make sense neither cause the shows are patron voted, they cant predict what we would all vote for. but theyve done this zig zagging of seasons ever since they started doing tv shows on here. you have no one to blame but yourself for not reading.

lisa

Lol

Inkpendude

there's one thing we all agree on, the blue eye contacts are terrible lol

Tsuyama

there are people who prefer they just go through an entire show without changing every season, and thats a reasonable preference. you are the ONLY one ive ever seen whos surprised by this schedule and then is mad about it despite the info literally being repeated over and over again.

Śéáń

Weirdly enough I never noticed the contacts until it was pointed out after multiple rewatches, and I still forget about them. I guess I'm already accustomed to them as being normal for his look.

Josip Buretić

So happy to see you two react to this great show!!

JFC

Cassie from Popcorn in Bed started watching these a few weeks ago, but I haven't started them yet. So now I can attempt the rarely tried double-reactor-sync-n-watch with PiB and Cinebinge, the crossover even they didn't know was coming.

Jessi

Not sure if anybody said yet, but you DID see young Theo. She was the second kid you saw after Steve woke up in the beginning. She asked if she should wake mom and dad but Steve said he had it handled. :)

mojo shivers

I’d consider these Mike Flanagan projects as horror/drama miniseries. They’re not going to have a second season per se, but instead tell a complete story with a lot of the same cast and using similar stylistic techniques. That being said, Hill House is still my favorite as it really freaked me out on first viewing and quite possibly has the all-time “jump out of your seat and throw your drink” jump scare in television and movie history.

Estelle’s dada jesse

Also fun for George I bet because there are ghost hidden everywhere throughout the show

Jenny_M

Yes! She's easily missed on the first watch; I remember also being confused by the introduction of grown-up Theo.

Brandon

I've done this with Cinebinge and TBR Schmitt because Oppenheimer is 3 hours long and I didn't want to watch the movie twice in a row. What I did was download each reaction from youtube and then sync and edit them together in Premiere. Makes it easier to pause and resync if you have to get up and go to the bathroom. The double reaction actually worked really well, they weren't really talking over each other or anything. I adjusted the audio so that one reaction came out of the left speaker and the other out of the right so the audio sounds more separated.

Inkpendude

You do get used to it, I agree. It doesnt ruin the show or anything, but I feel like they could have chosen better ones.

Inkpendude

Me when I don't know how to read

Śéáń

I've watched many reactors watchthroughs for this show and many miss young Theo in the first episode, as did myself and the person I watched it with the first time. I don't know if it's an oversight by the direction, or if it's a metacommentary on middle children. I choose the latter because I think it's funny.

Śéáń

I've been trying to find a method for a 'universal pause' when running something on both browser and VLC at the same time to lessen the annoyance of mini-resyncs when you have to step away from the screen, but no luck. I don't think I'm at the point of video editing them together myself, but I can appreciate that effort quite a bit..!

REDR58

(Deleted, comment in wrong spot)

mojo shivers

You actually do see young Theo early on in the episode. As Steve comes out of his door to check on Nell’s screams Theo is coming out of her room as well. Steve tells her to go back into her room and that he’ll check on Nell.

Cromulentius

I guess Flanagan is a big fan of Six Feet Under. He even has a gay character living in a funeral home's guest house.

Jessi

I remember one reactor, can't remember which, who was so thoroughly convinced that they hadn't seen young Theo that they insisted she was a ghost all the way up to ep 3. Lol even though you see young Theo in episodes 1 and 2! So, I guess middle children ARE invisible.

Jessi

Ok, wait, am I insane...wasn't this just ep1 a minute ago? Lol not complaining!

Robinson vs. Parkinson's

First of all, 4:39, clip that. Simone knew as soon as the last syllable dropped that it was too late. Now for the seriouses: I highly recommend you guys consider the Flannigan shows to be a horror/thriller anthology, calling Hill House, Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the house of Usher to be seasons 1-4 respectively. They aren't related to each other, so there's no Flannigan-verse per se, but each one is really incredible. You will also see a lot of the main actors returning for different roles in each show and they are all incredibly talented. I cannot recommend each one highly enough.

myinniemademedoit

People can’t help themselves. It’s embarrassing really. Just let them watch and react as naturally as possible.

Śéáń

It's a shame but I see it in real life too, if watching something with a mix of people who have and haven't seen something, the former half will often assume it's fine to use their retrospective insight to curate the latter's experience. I'm guilty of it myself.

Jessi

When my father in law passed, we had to cover $15,000 that my mother in law stole from the family business to pay for his burial. She had always been allowed to take what she wanted as personal money from the business because my father in law put it back each time without telling her. She just assumed all the money was hers...that was a fun discussion with the police when she came right out and said it to him when he came to check on her after his funeral. She didn't know, we put it back, we've taken her checkbook away....but, yeah...it's expensive.

Śéáń

I think I've seen that one, but also can't remember who it was that thought it..!

Crystal

so excited for this...I will just say that why I love Mike Flanagan stuff is he really pays off to the observant viewer. yes, there will be a lot of things where you'll say WTF? at first but he will explain it all, but subtly, so you have to be paying attention & put all the pieces together. he doesn't beat you with it, and the feeling when you put it all together is AMAZING!

Monica Alarcon

Thank you. It was driving me nuts that they keep saying they didn't see Theo...

Estelle’s dada jesse

They didn’t notice the hair with the mom after the “color storm” in bed talking with Hugh

REDR58

I typically watch the movie or show on my TV via Plex or whatever streaming service and the reaction on my iPhone or iPad. *Usually* I can come back from a pause my just tapping on the phone screen and Apple TV remote simultaneously and that’s not an issue, but if I have a sync issue, I’ll just let the reaction go ahead a second or several, pause that, let the movie or show catch up and then hit unpause on the reaction. The only time I’ve had any issues is when the movie is a little slow or fast for some reason but I don’t think that’s happened more than a handful of a few times. I went back to watch their Batman (1989) reaction a few days ago and for some reason they kept getting out of sync. But that’s a me problem.

Tcrimson05T

Unfinished business isn't just business. It can be attachment to a person. Like ....a spouse. Not wanting to leave then. I had an experience with my grandmother. She liked playing pranks on me and kept doing that after she died. Moving my toys around. I told my mom one night. "Mom Grandma keeps messing with me". (This was after she died) Fun fact, I died before. My heart stopped. Wanna know what it's like?

Śéáń

I try to have everything on the same screen on my laptop, Firefox's inbuilt picture-in-picture is extremely useful for watchalongs as the borderless video is drawn over all other windows, so you can position the reactor video output anywhere on the screen while playing the film on fullscreen. Easy to pause both by tapping space for one/clicking pause on the other, but much easier done by mouse rather than trackpad

PureGonzo

I won’t say much beyond this as to avoid spoilers, but this show isn’t *just* a horror show. It’s very deep, very layered, and very complex. This is one of those shows in which overanalysis can be your friend, and being particularly observant can really help you appreciate the grand scope of what it’s trying to convey. Anyways, that’s all I’ll say. Hope you two enjoy this masterpiece! :)

Jeff I.

It happened to me too when I first watched the show. I was like, "Who is Theodora? Is this a kid we didn't see earlier?" when she tells the woman her name. To be fair, she's the second kid we see in the intro, and only briefly compared to the other kids in the opening scene.

TechPriest

This series could be the end of Simone.

Michael Nemo

You guys are not even ready for what follows. The series is PERFECTION.

TechPriest

This is a pretty cool idea, though I feel Cassie and S/G will tend to speak at roughly similar timestamps for this show in particular. Let me know how it works out for you - I could be convinced to delay watching the last PiB until this channel catches up.

Jeff I.

Just want to say to Simone, don't worry, pretty much any questions you have will be answered by the end. This show is a slow burn with how it reveals information, but it does reveal it. :-)

HeyHeyJK

Yeah, I love seeing all the different members of the 'Flanafam' show up in the different shows (and in some of his films) playing different roles. It's part of the fun, for sure.

HeyHeyJK

Yeah, some of the payoffs later in the series are fantastic. The writing on this show is amazing.

James W.

I enjoyed this show when it came out but I like watching reactions to it far more. Good one y'all, stoked for the next. Edit: I wrote this right when Steve sees a ghost and that was especially terrifying.

Crew Glove

If you think Carla Gugino is gorgeous here, wait till you get to The Fall Of The House Of Usher.

FrancescoTakesItEasy

Flanagan hive is alive! There's an episode that hit me so hard, after it was over I just cried on and off for about 15 minutes. Man, I wish I could watch this show again for the first time. Watching you guys watch it may just be the next best thing.

DonkyDave

It's impossible to communicate 'clearly' with someone incapable of reading or listening

Michael L.

Excited to rewatch this one with you guys, it's really good. I wasn't so keen on Bly Manor, but Midnight Mass was really strong too.

Tenn Seven

I was NOT expecting to get two episodes out of this! What a pleasant surprise!

Nanners

Oooooh I’m so excited for this!

JoeNotCharles

The Haunting of Hill House is one of the all-time great horror novels, and the first movie adaptation (1963's "The Haunting") is one of the all-time great horror movies. This series is excellent, but it really just uses the novel as an inspiration and goes off in a different direction - you should check out the movie afterwards to see the differences! (Make sure you see the 1963 movie, not the 90's remake, though.)

Jethro Divine

The least scary thing that scared (startled) Simone from what I can recall is the Team America intro text animation exploding. It was glorious!

darkmoobs

No season 2 for this is in the works. You are maybe thinking about his other "Haunting" series Haunting of Bly Manor, which is also only one season too. As far as I know the only Mike Flanagan show that was supposed to have a second season was Midnight Club, but that was canceled. Everything else of his is standalone, single seasons. Hopefully you end up checking those out at some point.

Tenn Seven

I think those dots on Nell's face were meant to be petechial hemorrhaging. When people die of strangulation blood vessels just under the skin tend to burst and cause red and purple spots.

darkmoobs

Should have just watched longer into the video. Ya'll figured it out. haha

Jeff I.

They usually do two episodes a week of the TV shows.

Jeff I.

Yep, and of course someone already commented about how Nell died, when that's not supposed to be known for certain by the viewer until halfway through the season. Geeze, people!

Odd Thomas

Bly Manor is just as good!

mpd

Not sure if you have access to it depending on your tier, but Portal Part 4 (Full Patreon Version) minute 21:10 - 22:30 is the greatest content this channel has ever produced.

ShōNuff3K

You guys might want to make this a patreon exclusive.

ShōNuff3K

The burning question...will Simone survive? Does she have a strong heart?

ShōNuff3K

✋🏾 cremation please or if life insurance covers it, I like to be shot into the Sun. I guess that's about the same thing.

JoeE

Would recommend midnight mass

Deco

It's a family drama more than anything else, such an amazing show

Odd Thomas

Speaking of ghost stories, please watch The Others at some point

Jethro Divine

I will certainly check that out. Thank you.

2026-09-09 01:00 When I was a kid I used to see figures after I'd woken up for several seconds before they faded. Once I saw a dog. As a kid your imagination is very strong.

Nanners

This is easily one of my favorite series. I have always hoped you’d get around to it because I just know you’ll love it. Cannot wait for this journey! I’d also recommend reacting to Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher - all by Flanagan.

D. T. Nelson

You saw all five kids in the opening scene. Steve heard the crying and came out of his room. Theo came out of her room and asked if she should get their parents. Then he went into the room with the twins. The fifth was the girl sleep-talking about pandas not liking macaroni. George's idea that whatever our biggest concern is at the moment of death becomes the all consuming reason to exist as a ghost after death could be horrifiying. What if you had to go back to the store because you forgot to pick up some milk or cat food while you were there, and then you get hit by a car in the parking lot. Are you going to haunt the refrigerator for all eternity? Or the cat's food dish? Of course, Simone wants to spend at least part of her afterlife as wolf poop.

myinniemademedoit

I watched this for the first time a few months ago. And watching it now for a second time, it’s so cool picking up on all the subtle clues throughout.

Choom

Yes, finally! I’ve been wanting to rewatch this for a while, so this is just perfect.

Tenn Seven

Yeah, the email and the YouTube video title just said "Episode 1," so I was surprised.

m0lika1 .

child Theo appears in the 1st episode at the start in the corridor with Steve when he goes to Nell and Luke's room and she's in the front passenger seat of the car when they all leave the house the night their mum died. Lots of reactors miss that.

m0lika1 .

There's a bunch of hidden ghosts in the background when we get flashbacks of the family in Hill House so keep your eyes peeled!

Philipp Roensch

Asking myself why I left this out for so long, this is great! Love what Mike Flanagan does with suspense and digital effects, and equally well acted family drama. Also by him, for future Horror polls: Gerald's Game.

Philipp Roensch

As to discussion about ghost lore: In many stories, ghosts are bound not just because of a unfinished business, but a injustice done to them, or because it is too sudden and the place is usually where they died or felt comfortable to retreat to. Ghost also often respect the rules of that place, thus closed doors and physical damage to the proper affects them (overlook hotel burned down). Oddly here, the ghost seems to be able to project outwards, to the family, scaring them miles away, but not unheard of.

Khan1001

OMG, I just watched The Substance, don't know if you guys are planning on watching it, its the most disgusting, sickest thing I have ever seen but I think I liked it! its INSANE though!, Should come with a warning! BTW loved the first 2 eps of HOHH, I can see why it won the poll!

probablyKoi

You guys are right, houses like that are a nightmare to keep clean and they 100% give you nightmares at night with all the moonlit hallways and creaky old wood everywhere.

nj

as a 40-something last week i woke to see a tall figure standing near the foot of my bed and started to freak out a minute, until i realized it was the window outlined by very early morning light peeking in around the edges of the curtain.

Christopher Larimer

I don't care if it doesn't happen until years from now, I will wait as long as I have to for you guys to react to Midnight Mass.

nj

i didn't love bly manor the first time through, but it's grown on me. i've actually been able to rewatch it more than midnight mass, which i'd greatly preferred on the first viewing. unexpected!

Pam Nail

You saw all of the children in that opening scene, including young Theo.

Noel Valdez

That show is a masterpiece!

Matthew Johnson

I am so excited because the very next episode is (in my opinion) the scariest of the whole series. Mr. Smiley sent me nearly through my ceiling I jumped so high.

REDR58

Ah, different funeral customs… “Is there any special arrangement you would like for the body?” “It is only an empty shell now. Please treat it as such.” Anyway, in the US, embalming really became popular because of the Civil War: https://www.civilwarmed.org/embalming1/

Tom Ekstrand

A couple casting things. The young version of the dad was Elliott in ET, and more recently the Jack Torrence/Lloyd character at the bar in Doctor Sleep. And your generation will appreciate this... the mother also played the mom in the Spy Kids movies. And you did see Theo in the opening scene, she was the girl who asked Steve if he wanted her to get Mom and Dad.

REDR58

A casket that is buried directly in the ground, be it wood or metal, will at the most last a hundred years or so, because of eventual groundwater intrusion or the earth collapsing from above due to natural settlement, crushing the casket. If it is sealed in a vault, it can last much longer, but water will eventually get to it: https://casketquestions.com/do-caskets-decompose/ Caskets in very dry locations or protected from the elements (say, in a crypt under a church) can last much longer.

Persnickity

I like to think ghosts are lingering souls. Their story can be brutal, sad or untold. They can also be beautiful, happy, or untold. Live life. Too many unsatisfied souls.

REDR58

Our house is pretty old and has most of its original interior doorknob and lock sets and each lock can be opened with a “skeleton” or master key. If the Hill House were mine I’d be looking for another key for that locked door before long, or failing that, getting that knob off and opening the door. The face on the knob that slowly twisted back and forth was a nice touch, like some sort of beastie trying to force its way through. The song that played in the club is “I Want U” by Alison Wonderland. Cool stuff: https://youtu.be/fpWSE9HpiJM?si=dc1mR8vw0OAVtTE6 I think it’s wrong to force a child, or anyone, to look at body in an open casket. One should be able to grieve however one wishes to.

Jeff I.

One thing I love about this show is how it sometimes shows us a scene a second time but with a new context or added time/dialogue to the scene that we didn't have before, so it gives the previous time we saw that scene a different meaning or emotional weight.

Bilby

They did give him blue contacts so he'd have the same eye color as the older version lol. The younger version of the dad is also Henry Thomas, who played Elliott in E.T! You guys should consider watching 'Dark' at some point if you haven't already

gfixler

And there's a little Easter egg in episode one, when the two kids are up in the tree house. It cuts to him writing "no girls," and in the background you can see an E.T. lunchbox.

darkmoobs

That’s the definition of getting scared by your own shadow. Lol

Thomas Yanez

Reactors always miss the introduction to Theo, despite it being the very first cast interaction/dialogue in the dang show. :)

myinniemademedoit

My first watch through I didn’t see a ghost until like episode 8. People were sure to tell me all about them though. Kinda ruined the surprise when I did see one, but go ahead tell them more about the show while you’re at it.

Stephanie Bedworth

The short scene of young Theo reading The Lottery is definitely a shout out to the author, Shirley Jackson, who also wrote the novel this is loosely based on, The Haunting the Hill House.

Jeff I.

Yeah, I've seen other reactors to this show get comments about how they're missing ghosts in the background, but it's like, just let the reactor focus on the characters instead of hunting for background Easter eggs. It's not the kind of show where you miss anything important if you don't notice most of the ghosts hidden in the background.

mky

A few more casting notes, in case no one has mentioned them. Among Carla Gugino's many roles (including Spy Kids, Sucker Punch, Sin City, etc.), she was also in Zack Snyder's Watchmen movie. Also, a long time ago she was in a Michael J. Fox sitcom called "Spin City", believe it or not. The older version of the dad is played by Timothy Hutton, who's had a long career, including winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for 1980's "Ordinary People", one of his first movie roles. Mrs. Dudley is played by Annabeth Gish, who's also had a long career, including a role in Julia Roberts' breakout movie, "Mystic Pizza" (1988). She also joined the cast of the X-Files late in its run for a season (plus additional episodes). Cheers!

Simone, you jumping at little noises are all part of your honest reaction. Never apologize for it. Having said that, I need to see Simone and Cassie (PiB) do a horror reaction together. The jump scares would be epic. Maybe add Natalie Gold to the mix.

Carlos H

If you two like well written family dramas, with great acting, you should check out The Sopranos.

mky

Simone and George, while wondering about seeing young Theo, I believe the proper form of the question is: "What of Theo?" 😜

Kyle Sundstrom

Love you guys!! Would like to ask if y’all have seen Black Sails? If not, I’d love to see you guys react to it someday. I believe you’d really love it!

Fuckerage

First girl who walked and asked Steve to wake up mom and dad was Theo you didn’t recall cause she went back to sleep quickley, but butter response then Shirley with macaroni panda

KaffeeKind

So happy your watching this. I love them. To me it is one of the best horror shows and when I say that I just say one of the best because I have to consider Mike Flanagans other series :D So I hope you will enjoy it and I will already recommend Haunting of Bly Manor and Midnight Mass. Also no, it is just one season, which in my opinion makes it so good. Script is written and well thought of. Haunting of Bly Manor can kinda be considered similar... but also very different. Like a ghost to Hill House :) Midnight Mass is completely different, but has some of the best monologues/dialogues about dying and religion vs atheism.

Bon Wa

Just adding an experience that happened to me that was kind of similar to that one Simone shared. My grandma passed away about 1 year ago and I was very close to her when I was young. Later in life we have not been seeing each other that much, me moving to another country and her being in a nursing home and not well enough to travel. The night she passed away I remember cleary being visited by her in my bedroom, in another country to where she lived. She sat next to the bed and we got to say a final goodbye to each other. The thought of someone visiting you in your bedroom is super scary but for some reason this was not. It felt completely natural and normal. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before or after but I am still convinced it did that time.

HeyHeyJK

"The Lottery" is a fantastic short story on its own. There's a biopic of sorts about Shirley Jackson called "Shirley" - appropriately enough - that stars Elizabeth Moss that I've always meant to watch. I guess I should do that soon.

HeyHeyJK

Haha, that would help offset the time Cassie and Simone bawled their eyes out watching "Hachi: A Dog's Tale".

Liuzetz

I'm so excited to see you are watching this! It is such a good series. Hope you will have a wonderful experience with this story <3

BangDroid

I've seen a ghost, or rather felt one, but it's in the same sense that Steve described. A friend of mine's mother died some 15 years ago, before I met him, and he lives in the same house with his father. All her belongings especially in the kitchen are still there, trinkets, ornaments, nice china and teacups hanging. All completely untouched and covered in a layer of time and dust. I get a weird feeling when I visit, especially in the kitchen, almost as if I can feel her presence. Of course I'm sure this is just part of my brain trying to anthropomorphize what I'm seeing. It's kind of sad, or maybe bittersweet is the right word. They left all her stuff they way she left it, all these years.

Itbewhatitbe

tell me you dont understand how microphones work without telling me you dont understand how microphones work. its called peaking.

Zach Hall

I had a "ghost experience" in a dream. About a year and a half after my grandmother died I dreamt I was visiting my grandfather and when I went to the door he was hanging something on the coat hanger on the wall by their door. Over his back I saw a spectral image of my grandmother looking at him and smiling in a loving way. I woke up thinking it was a sweet dream. The "ghost" part came because when I told my mom about the dream the next day she broke down crying. When she composed herself she told me she had been at their house the previous day. My grandfather had asked her to help him gather my grandmother's clothes to take to Goodwill. He hung them up on that coat hanger to load in the car the next day. I had no idea that was occurring and it remains an example for me of something I can't explain.

I had a "ghost" experience too but IRL. I was young, I woke up in the night, went to the bathroom and when I came back I just casually sat down on the bed, and just at that moment I felt something, I saw a light creep up all over the walls towards the ceiling and the chandelier in my room moved, even though all doors and windows were closed. I stormed out of the room and screamed for my mom. I couldn't sleep in my room for a few days after. I'm a staunch atheist and a science-oriented person, but to this day I have zero explanation for this. I'm sure I wasn't asleep and I didn't imagine it, that much I am certain of. To this day I am scared of ghosts even though I am absolutely sure they don't exist because ghosts don't make sense. But whatever I saw that night was not "normal". I am 100% sure it happened, and I can't explain it.
