The last weekly polls winner was Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which will be available this Saturday. Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Jeff K.

Christmas Vacation, Scrooged, or Violent Night for me, please.

Quirrel

Klaus is an amazing animated film. Hope you guys get to it soon even if it doesn’t win this poll.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Grinch just for Jim Carrey’s brilliance alone. Christmas Vacation is a riot as well

Chappie_nottherobot

Christmas Vacation please!!!! The best Christmas movie ever, and the best Vacation movie.🎄🎅🏻

Jon Johns

Hey, yo, happy holidays, George, Simone, and all the cinebingers! #luvyameanit 🎄🎉🕎

Jean-Dominic Lapointe

Have you guys reacted to Jingle All The Way? I don’t see it on the channel. Another fun Christmas movie

UnlicensedOkie

I really hope yall watch all of these in the upcoming weeks All of these are so iconic (never seen love actually). I feel like Klaus doesn’t get nearly enough attention because it’s newer and it’s a Netflix movie.

Wil Whileaway

May I also put forward Rare Exports: a Christmas Tale. It's a Finish action, fantasy, horror, comedy. Great film, total WTF experience.

Jay Davis

Fully expect Lampoon's to carry it here which is totally reasonable... but I'ma vote fer Scrooged.

Felreign

Muppet Christmas Carol, been waiting all year for this! Make it happen!

Archive23

The Family Man (2000)

BigSlice

These are all great choices, but given the audience I'm surprised Muppet Christmas Carol isn't taking this in a landslide. Excited to see what wins!

Erinn Daum

Oh my god Muppet Christmas Carol! I’m not even exaggerating when I call it the best adaptation of the book out there, hands down.

Chris Kimmel

No they don't need to stop. Love 80s movies. You do know if you don't like a movie then you don't have to watch? Not everybody's gonna like every movie they watch. I grew up in the 80 so I love it

TomGas2025

I just csnnot connect to the Lampoons Movies...its just miss after Miss after Miss for me. The only national lampoons movie i thought genuinely funny is Loaded Weapon.

Jonny Campbell

Hoping for Muppet Christmas Carol! Michael Caine's Scrooge is the definitive one for me.

Michal Novotny

Some great picks but I am very sad not to see Home Alone 2 in the poll 😞

Smooticus

Klaus has become a new staple for Xmas viewing to go along side Christmas Story, Muppet Christmas Carol, Scrooged and Christmas Vacation

Dirge Girl

Happy Merry! Better Off Dead (1985) [Weird Xmas Comedy] w/ John Cusack.

Helly R

You guys should watch Hot Frosty for a laugh.

Patches

Loved Violent Night, I appreciate it being included in the list. Have an awesome day!

Elliott Bishop

The muppets Christmas carol is so iconic. And Klaus managed to become one of my favourite christmas movies. Highly underrated.

Itbewhatitbe

lmao when its new movies people cry about recency bias, when its older movies people cry about that too. S&G just cant win.

Itbewhatitbe

but also, literally yesterday they posted a movie from like 3 years ago. Not to mention haunting, arcane, free guy, rango before that. you act like its been nothing but old movies but its literally 1 movie of every weeks 3. you are just as bad as all the "recency bias" cry babies

Dane Winton

Awesome picks and for some more Christmas fun I’d like to suggest Krampus for another time! 😈🎄

James Lawson

REALLY hope Muppet Christmas Carol goes higher because I neeeeed this

Mo's Not Mortal

I don’t remember if the muppet Christmas was entertaining or not. I just remember how it made me feel. 🤌

Itbewhatitbe

theres also a chance that theyre just doing it without a poll and its just part of their schedule. remember, 3 movies a week and only 1 is from poll

8bitAquaDon

I always confuse Klaus with Krampus, which is crazy because they are two very different movies, but Klaus is definitely a top tier Christmas movie.

Itbewhatitbe

first of all, PLEASE. first time? ive been around here long enough to recognize your name and all the times youve complained about the same thing. secondly, no ones stopping you from voicing your opinion. being able to voice your opinion does not mean immune from disagreement. we are equally allowed and free to disagree with you.

Sarahnade

Unsung hero Klaus! <3 Such a funny sweet movie. Hope yall get to it some day.

Itbewhatitbe

oh and thirdly, notice how my reply to you also includes my disagreement towards people who cry about "too much new movies". i simply dislike anyone who whines about too much X for their taste there for everyone should stop as well. but your victim mentality tunnel visioned you to only seeing the part about you.

Itbewhatitbe

holy f how are you not getting this. NO ONE IS SAYING YOU CANT VOICE YOUR OPINION. but you seem to think no one else is allowed to voice theirs if it disagrees with you.

Matrim

Goddamn it, y’all need to start voting for Violent Night ASAP

Cinebinge

alright folks, lets all take it down a notch and everyone walk away from this now. theres no need for last words or final jabs at each other, lets keep things civil please. continuing this will result in a ban, so lets all keep civil. if you need to just block eachother and be done with it. thank you.

Raymond DeGraw

Great Christmas poll... Looking forward to seeing your reactions to a lot of these movies... Also hoping for these in the near future... 1. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) 2. R.E.D. 3. Get Shorty 4. The Ref (Christmas) 5. Santa Claus: The Movie (Not Tim Allen one)

beefjerkywizard

Scrooged is my favourite from this list but I was raised on Muppets Christmas Carol and Christmas Vacation so I'm excited either way.

Balmung

Muppets Christmas Carol is one of the only Christmas movies I actually enjoy. Klaus is another.

lovemoose

National lampoon please!! I've been putting off watching it because I was waiting till your guys reaction lol

Morningstar

Bad Moms 2 and Daddy‘s Home 2 🎄

Michael Gryphon

All of the Above! Throw in Rudolph and the Garfield Christmas Special too.

Jared S.E.

Wow. Tough poll today.

Jonathan Jones

Please do Klaus! Even if it does not win, its one of the best modern Christmas movies out there

Tim T—

Brazil (1985) plays around Christmas-time. Hah!

Simon Clifton

Annual shoutout for the Hogfather Mini-series! Nothing to do with Christmas, but EVERYTHING to do with Christmas. My go-to December 1st show after the decorations go up.

sagesaria

I highly recommend the cartoon of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, too, at a later date. It's kind of night and day with the movie lol

Rhett Samios

Muppets Christmas Carol is a must watch. Unironically the best version and most faithful to the book.

Bookwormy

MUPPETS! Even if it doesn't win,it's a must watch

Denis

Good shout!

Tay Schumaker

A lot of really great choices. Muppet Christmas Carol is my favorite Christmas movie of all time though. Hope you watch a few of these

Daniel Smith

Arthur Christmas is my favourite “Santa” based Christmas film. Does a great of explaining how he does it. Should be a “nice” list at some point.

Śéáń

I'm surprised to see Muppets Christmas Carol without a "only new to x" disclaimer! Best Christmas movie. Hopefully it comes at least 2nd so that it gets a watch

Matt88g

Muppets, Scrooged and Christmas vacation are all amazing

Jordy's_Here!

Fantastic choices all around!! Christmas Vacation is a MUST!! But behind that, 2000’s The Grinch, Klaus, and Muppets Christmas Carol should all be next watches…tis the season, right? 🤣

Liesmith

Guys. Seriously. How is Scrooged not obliterating this?

Philipp Roensch

I'm gonna stay a hater on everything Lampoon. But I hope the Muppets get a shot. For next Christmas I wish for The Hogfather :D.

JBirdLowdown

THIS! I think a lot of ppl actually don’t know the brilliance of Murray in Scrooged

rick trevino

no disrespect but lampoon again??its not that funny and only has 1 good scene(guys know)... Klaus should win this!

Jethro Divine

I don't really do the Christmas thing but Klaus really hits a special spot in the heart void. Happy to see it in a poll.

cincassette

"The Hateful Eight" would be a great non-Christmas winter movie. Personally I always watch "White Christmas" with my family on Christmas day. On this poll, though, my vote goes wholeheartedly to the "Muppet's Christmas Carol"!

Thomas Yanez

"Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas", dammit. Since that isn't on the list, voted for "Violent Night". It's a hoot.

OrangeMg

Home Alone 2 will be in the next poll, right? 👀

William Burnham

Scrooge ( 1951) is the best version. Arthur Christmas is also a great Christmas movie

Michael Johnson

Not sure if it's technically Christmas, but The Shop Around The Corner is a delightful classic

jmundt33a

Scrooged and Love Actually are classics. Krause has a good reputation, and I loved Muppet Christmas Carol. The rest of it…woof.

jmundt33a

Have they already done the Ephron remake of that?

Philipp Roensch

Now as uncultured as that may seem, no thanks^^.

Rupert Purcat

Scrouged and Klaus are epic - one that should be on the list is Fatman (2020)

HereBeMeghan

Also for anyone watching Muppet Christmas Carol on Disney+ : go to Extras and select the Full Length Version. That one has the cut song ("When Love Is Gone") put back into its rightful place and makes the emotional beats of the story work better. You're welcome in advance.

Brad Lowry

I am voting for "Love Actually" just as a Holiday Present for Simone! I'm a Rom-Com fan – kinda... I am so much more of a Rom-Com fan watching along with someone such as Simone!

Alex Ch

They have done You’ve Got Mail - in addition to Simone’s 800 other viewings on her own time. Not as Christmassy though.

FWPJR.

It’s great to see that Christmas Vacation is winning right now, but hopefully sometime in the future you two will react to Scrooged. It’s really great and Bill Murray is fantastic in it. And please react to the real and original Grinch sometime in the future, I’m a huge fan of Jim Carey ( especially his older stuff ) but the original is so much better than the Jim Carey version ( imo ).

Helly R

You've Got Mail is like Simone's favourite movie. Or one of them.

Brad Lowry

Yes, but I'd say if Ephron chose to remake it, that indicates that I'd be more likely to want to watch it. Also, isn't "You've Got Mail" (the Ephron remake) Simone's favorite (¿one of her favorite?) Rom-Coms?

Brad Lowry

I think we're talking the same film... the only thing I look for is Alister Simm as Ebenezer Scrooge!

Twisty Twitties

Muppets Christmas Carol is a necessity for christmas!

D

i recommend Klaus to anyone, a nice wholesome movie with good animation and great dialogue

sarCC

Hope you give yourselves a present and watch RRR soon.

King_Panarisi

Looks like you forgot Home Alone 2

Steven Cavanagh

The first poll where I legitimately wanted to vote for all the options.

Jirka Šulc

I totally agree. But people are gonna vote for the old classics.

DooK

I have been watching National lampoons Christmas vacation the day before Christmas every year in 30 years now

Mr. Treat

Was hoping silent night deadly night part 2 would be on here. Oh well

Chase Lonnergan

Aw, man... Christmas Vacation? Why? "Shitter's full!"... There, that's the whole thing that people are voting for. Meanwhile, other movies on the list are entertaining and well-made throughout the WHOLE movie.

Rhiannon

The fact that Klaus isn't higher leads me to believe that not many people here have seen it - it's SO WONDERFUL.

Dean Makin

Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets! Muppets!

Rhiannon

It's so lovely!

HereBeMeghan

You're totally welcome to your own opinion!

Brad Lowry

Regardless of what wins, I trust that I am NOT alone in saying that I will be watching Simone & George reacting to that Amazing Xmas Episode of "Ted Lasso"! I think it is the best series Xmas Special ever! (although "The Closer" and "Monk" always did well)

Daniel Smith

Nativity! Deserves a watch. Not sure if it is well known outside the UK. Stars Martin Freeman

TheGrimOne

Vacation will be a great watch. I hope you guys watch Violent Night even though it won't win. It's so much fun. Scrooged is also good.

Rob

No surprise here. National Lampoon Christmas Vacation is in the highest tier of holiday movies.

Vellu

I thought everybody and their mom already had reacted to Scrooged. But definately watch that one too, yet another role made for Bill Murray.

Roger Davies

Muppet Christmas Carol. Dang nab it.

Julian G

The muppets have Michael Cane... need more be said?

Jeff I.

Klaus went under the radar, so it'll never win a poll, but it's really good. I think y'all would both love it!

Wulfric

Home Alone 2 this year? Its been three years since they did the first one.

Wrencher86

Yes, Christmas Vacation is a classic and you guys should watch it. But The Muppet Christmas Carol is the kind of movie that makes your life just a little bit of a warmer, kinder experience. Can't recommend it enough.

2026-09-05 05:00 I don't understand how people can put up with Chevy Chase.
2024-12-02 18:23

Seahag

Klaus is such an insanely good movie. Remember watching it right after it came out and being surprised how well done it was. Don’t know if you’ll get to it this year, but hope you do it eventually.

Seahag

Totally unrelated to Christmas, but have either of you seen Jawbreaker(1999)? was reminded of it today, good movie.

Horrible

Just one choice imo. Go go griswold

sahliente

You forgot to put Eyes Wide Shut as an option.

Matt DSM

No “Hot Frosty”??? C’mon now

Terry Light

Please, cech out Rare Exports: A christmas tale. It's a Finnish movie but sooo freaking awesome

Robinson vs. Parkinson's

It has to be Christmas Vacation of course, but Violent Night is really fun and would be a great reaction. My recommendations this week are: LEGENDS OF THE FALL & FIELD OF DREAMS.

2026-09-05 05:00 What??? No Santa Claus Conquers the Martians? Christmas movies are tough because I'm not sure I can think of a single one I consider legitimately 5 star great. Love Actually is the best movie on that list. Star studded, slick, with young stars who would go on to become A-listers and with a hilarious turn by Bill Nighy. But I'm sure it won't win because we are all movie sophisticates here who vote for mangas and movies about road trips about strange guys who are constantly drunk and high rather than sweet romcoms. I kind of like Scrooged, despite it being flawed. But I say Christmas Vacation is the choice. I thought that movie was legitimately funnier than the first one, and had at least one ROFL scene late in the movie. P.S. Jingle All the Way might have been a competitive addition to the list.

Tyler Foster

If you guys are doing the Vacation movies, I really hope you don't skip the underrated 2015 reboot. It is the debut feature by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the directors of Game Night and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. You liked those two so much that I hope this alone is enough to get the movie on your radar. Admittedly, I've never been a massive fan of the Vacation movies (I like the original, but it's not one of my favorite 1980s comedies), so I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I think it's the best one. I also find Vegas to be pretty underrated as well. (European Vacation, I can't say I care for it.)

Tyler Foster

My friend Russell wrote that movie.

Tyler Foster

While I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas Vacation, there are many people I have no trouble watching in movies but would not like to meet in real life.

Tyler Foster

Ah yes, the holidays -- a perfect time to watch a great 2000s British Christmastime rom-com with an all-star ensemble cast (including at least one Harry Potter cast member), featuring a boy dealing with his first crush, a hit festive radio single, a struggling stay-at-home mom, and a climactic school stage performance, starring Hugh Grant, which is of course About a Boy (2002).

Dan Holmes

Surprised Scrooged is doing as good as it is. Hope it wins 👍🏻

Owen 'Boots' Davies

If its not Muppets Christmas Carol, we are robbing them of wonder!

2026-09-05 05:00 National Lampoon?! Are you kidding? Muppets is the only answer
2024-12-02 19:26

REDR58

Finally! Christmas Vacation way out in front!

REDR58

On a related note, I know many people have their own favorite version of “A Christmas Carol,” but my favorite is the 1984 version with George C Scott. If anyone is interested in watching you can look at it on YouTube for free: https://youtu.be/Fd31WpkEi_8?si=xWUWPa3-h6wfVBfc

Dan

Brad

Four Christmases is a very funny Christmas movie

JLee

If not Klaus, then Tokyo Godfathers. Or both is better.

Polecat21

Miracle on 34th Street (1947)

Jesse

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is the best Christmas movie, besides maybe It's a Wonderful Life, though obviously a very different tone between the two!

shaneth138

Poll winners are always the most boring choice.

shaneth138

Highest tier of most overrated movies.

Brandon Meng

Idc if Simone has already seen it, Love Actually would be a timeless reaction on this channel I would probably watch and rewatch several times. If not for Christmas, I hope they get to it for Valentine's Day or add it to a future romcom poll. Home Alone 2 huge omission, surprised it hasn't been mentioned more. I'm rolling at someone mentioning Eyes Wide Shut, I forgot that was a Christmas movie. Would make for an unforgettable reaction (this is putting it lightly). Can we have a dramas-only poll? Manchester by the Sea Perks of Being a Wallflower Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri Sideways The Royal Tenenbaums Cheers!

Jacob King

Finland is a pretty solid movie country.

Jacob King

I love The Hogfather! Best Discworld adaptation by a good margin.

Terry Light

Yeah I kinda miss-spoke, i didn't mean to imply otherwise

HeyHeyJK

I would say "In Bruges" but you've already seen it, so ... "Krampus".

Mycenaeus

The Apartment (1960) is kind of a Christmas movie.

REDR58

It’s sadly an A24 movie that they have been avoiding lately.

Gareth Turner

Violent Night is now my go-to Christmas film. It’s great, and I hope it gets watched at some point.

REDR58

That would probably be watched best with the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version. I wonder if Simone and George are at all aware of that show?

Joel the Human

Absolutely love Scrooged, but Christmas Vacation is a must watch!

REDR58

This is madness, I say, madness! It is the best of the National Lampoon Vacation movies by far.

mky

🎵 Oh, let's have a Patrick Swayze Christmas this year! 🎶

Nat B

Violent Night would be so much fun! But I voted for National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation because come on.

Eliana

National lampoons over muppets is gross work

jyol

hi.. I really wish you would watch: the it crowd. it is a fantastic british comedy tv show..

REDR58

Something that might be fun to react to (assuming you have not already seen any of these) is watching some or all classic Christmas animation specials in a block as they are relatively short: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964) stop motion by Rankin/Bass (55 minutes) A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) (25 minutes) (you must watch this above all others if you have not seen it) How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966) (26 minutes) Frosty the Snowman (1969) (22 minutes) The Snowman (1982) (26 minutes) All of these specials were part of my childhood in the 1970s/1980s and most of them I have not seen in decades.

Farbod

Scrooged is amazing... Still my favorite true christmas film.

sarCC

lol Gremlins 2 definitely isn't a Xmas movie

sarCC

And a New Year's Eve movie, too!

Cc Decc

I was going to protest, but then remembered that the Dropkick Murphy's song/video "The Season's Upon Us" is by far and away my favorite piece of Christmas media, so who am I to talk?

Dan

Oh yes, you're right. For some reason I had it in my head it was set around Xmas due to them having visitors.

2026-09-05 05:00 Muppets or Murray over Chase any day, fuck that asshole
2024-12-03 02:17

BigGuy209

these are all great choices. I know Klaus won’t win but that movie is so good & sweet

William Burnham

Indeed, the same film. Alistair Sim is the definitive Scrooge

Cc Decc

a couple of random lists (the mental gymnastics for this was Bill Murray and Chevy Chase in the poll above --> Dan Akroyd) leads to a few comedies for the future: Multiplicity (1996) -- Michael Keaton, Michael Keaton, Michael Keaton and Michael Keaton Back to School (1986) -- Rodney Dangerfield! Get Smart (2008) -- Steve Carrel, Anne Hathaway, The Rock Sneakers (1992) -- Akroyd/Redford/Poitier etc. Crazy Stupid Love (2011) -- Steve Carrel, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and if you want something totally silly and 80s: My Stepmother is an Alien (1988) -- Dan Akroyd, Kim Basinger, + several very young Buffy stars

ChristianK

Crazy Stupid Love is a must watch come Valentine's Day or for the holidays guys :)

DinChild

I understand the desire to push the classics, but man -- Klaus is really good.

MacGuffinStuff

Ah no Krampus? Love that movie, it's now one of my Christmas classics, along with Christmas Vacation, Bad Santa, and Gremlins.

Will Sofer

While I think it’s genuinely the best adaptation of “A Christmas Carol” that i’ve ever seen, judging by the comments here, it seems a lot of people have never seen it.

rictus grin

these films don't really represent the Christmas movies i grew up with, in the UK in the 70's/80's the tv ran movies like Where Eagles Dare, one of the Carry On movies, (British comedy movie series, generally starring the same actors but playing different characters) and always a Bond movie.

Villa Lobos

I’m hoping everyone is saying let’s get the movie with that POS, Chevy Chase, out of the way. When we are closer to actually Christmas they’ll watch the Muppets.

Graeme McCutcheon

For a new years seasonal movie, you should get another Coen Brothers title under your belt, the oft-overlooked The Hudsucker Proxy (1994). Note: don't look at the poster if you can avoid it, there's a minor spoiler.

Dustin Duvall

Violent night not doing better is sad :(

Godrick

i am actually baffled by how much better the muppets are doing then the grinch

BangDroid

Haven't seen Love Actually for years but used to watch it yearly and it made me cry every time.

Foodassassin4life

So just wondering if you guys had any plans to watch Home Alone 2? I know it's been like 3 years since you watched the last one but I got to say this one is the best. The other movies after this one are just knock off or reboots with a different kid that should be ignored but please watch the second one

rictus grin

and its got snow so it counts as an xmas movie ;)

Craig

If you do watch the Muppets Christmas Carol at some point, please try to watch the full length version, rather than the US theatrical release. If watching via Disney+, it is available in the 'extras' section. Thank you!

Shawn B

Scrooged was my family's go to Christmas movie

Renee MeowMeow Beans

It simply HAS to be The Muppet Christmas Carol. It's a feat of incredible craft, and Michael Caine!! 😁

Renee MeowMeow Beans

It's just wonderful - I loved it the first time I saw it. "You know . . For kids!"

Renee MeowMeow Beans

Love that movie - so fun! Also - Jacob, I agree! Have you seen Valkoinen Peura (the White Reindeer), 1952? You have to get it on physical media, but it's one of my favorite "Christmas" movies.

Renee MeowMeow Beans

Also LOVE The Hogfather, watch it every year! Terry Pratchett is part of my moral compass. 😁

Renee MeowMeow Beans

I completely agree! I tend to adore him in anything, but he's such a great Scrooge.

Erinn Daum

Renee, have you seen the video of a fashion historian being absolutely in love with the costuming? If not, it’s a real treat.

Kyle B

I love me some Christmas Vacation and Scrooged. A recent surprise was how much I liked Violent Night, its Die Hard with Santa. A horror christmas movie that should make a poll some day is Finnish film called Rare Exports, such a wild ride of a movie.

Alex Ch

Ok, I suddenly feel ambivalent about their watching Christmas Vacation. Some things had slipped my mind. Drat.

Christopher Feiertag

My favorite Christmas movie of all time is in front. So that means that there’s a good chance to first watch “Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas” and after that “Christmas Vacation”. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Justin Hunt

I'm shocked it came in last, especially losing to Love Actually.
