Was really hoping this was one of the movies that George filmed with his Dad, but I'll take this

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Yup this is pretty much how I remember it, which I haven’t seen since I saw in theatres oh so long ago but they were good times haha. Definitely recommend checking out Beavis and Butthead Do America and its sequel if you get a chance. Fun movies all around either way ☺️

Alex Ch

Very rare that I recognize a Simone opening line, but this one was one of maybe three things I remember from that show (and like maybe one of three episodes I’ve seen?)

Philipp Roensch

I had the (questionable) please to see this in 3D back in the day, it was equally impressive and disgusting. The increased budget really did allow them to do some wild shit. It's been great fun with your reactions again!

Sergio Meira

I see, another masterpiece of North American cinematography.

Thomas Larsen

I wonder if anyone as a kid ever thought they would say "not the guy with his penis in the thing with the woodpecker" and actually be asking a question....

LadyFinger

You guys should watch 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 at some point. they are basically like whole other movies

Great reaction! Honestly, y'all can stop here. Jackass 4 sucks compared to this one. No Bam or Ryan, and the stunts are like 80% cock and ball torture, while the pranks have a weirdly mean-spirited/cruel vibe to them. There's also one big "public stunt" that I'm 90% sure is staged as far as the 'public' being in on the whole thing.

DCray

They said they went and saw Jackass 4 in the theater together.

Odd Thomas

Ah yes, that festive classic... Jackass 3

Jay

Nah, Jackass Forever was fucking brilliant. No Ryan was sad, no Bam was a blessing!

Jay

Ah guys, add Beavis and Butthead do America to a future poll. Watched it recently for the first time in years, it's brilliant!

Mycenaeus .

While George rightfully pointed out the remade Wickerman's subpar quality, you might want to consider watching the much better original from 1973.

Joe

You guys should really do the .5 versions of the movies. They are equally as good.

Tyler Foster

It should be clarified that the .5s are not extended or further unrated cuts of the movies but complete bonus films assembled out of deleted footage.

Sean S.

I would also recommend Beavis and Butthead Do the Universe. I think it might be funnier than the first one

Jacob King

I’d definitely draw a line from Hunter S Thompson to Johnny Knoxville in the history of American freak culture. The Samuel Johnson quote at the start of Fear and Loathing “He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man” is 100% Jackass. The other epigraph at the start of the book is “When the Going Gets Weird the Weird Turn Pro” which is also appropriate.

Knoxville was friends with Thompson during Thompson's last years and was with Thompson the last time Thompson went out before killing himself. Knoxville said Thomson was different that weekend. Just sad, not wanting to socialize, and just wanted to go home (I believe he did end up catching an earlier flight home). He was dead very soon after.

Beavis and Butthead have a movie called Beavis and Butthead Do America. The show is these little shorts broken up between the characters watching MTV music videos. The movie is an actual movie.
