The top 3 winners of the last poll were 50 First Dates, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Field of Dreams!

Field of Dreams will be available to you this coming Saturday :)

Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Comments

DonkyDave

Requiem for a Dream needs to win this poll

Jihad Lee

I have a feeling of what will win

Logan Whitaker

Friendly reminder that landman exists and is a great show

lovemoose

Ratatouille is a must! Especially for george!

DaniDaniDaniDani

I said something hopefully nice on the last poll before it got deleted and replaced with this one. Don’t want to rewrite it or it’ll lose its spontaneity. So just pretend this comment is awesome and lovely - save me some effort :)

Garrett Jay Christian

A.I. gets undeservedly forgotten; it's sort of an unofficial posthumous Kubrick.

FWPJR.

I really hope that Me, myself, and Irene wins this. It’s such a great and funny Jim Carrey movie, and I feel like it doesn’t get as much love as it deserves.

Shawnie

Heads up I've edited a version of AI for a channel before. The whole kids in danger stuff on youtube. You know the drill haha.

slowprodigy

For what it's worth, I saw it.

Mr. Treat

I've been waiting years for requiem for a dream to show up. Don't let me down fellow patrons!! 🤞

Dragonhunter

Still hoping for the Crank movies some day. I'm just never sure if I should keep bringing up stuff I'd like you guys to react to so it's not forgotten or if it's more annoying to mention them all the time because it's already on your list.

Chase Lonnergan

Looks like Requiem is gonna win this one. Which has me a bit torn. It's a fantastic movie, and a definite "must watch"... But it's kind of a "must watch once". It's the same thing I feel about Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. I can only handle that much bitter, hopeless, stylized nihilism in small doses.

The Gunslinger

"If you focus on what you have left behind. You will never see what lies ahead." Ratatouille is another animated masterpiece from Brad Bird.

Michael Johnson

Dear god, don't subject yourselves to Requiem for a Dream. It's a good movie, but boy o boy is it bleak.

Michael Buhl

I'm really surprised to see Requiem for a Dream winning. It's an exceptionally well made movie that does what it sets out to do, but it is extremely painful to watch.

Twisty Twitties

Requiem for a Dream, that will be one hell of a bleak way to start the year 😅 Do it!

Robb

Requiem for a Dream Oh boy 🤐

Mark Gassen

Haha Requiem for a Dream! We're going to have to chip-in for some psychiatry sessions for Simone after this one.

BlindPanda

I definitely won’t be tuning in to watch Requiem for a Dream. Once is enough ✌🏻

TheGrimOne

Requiem for a Dream would be terrible movie to watch for a reaction. Pick any other movie on this list.

Chase Schleich

Wow. This may be the best poll you've ever done.

ShōNuff3K

Anyone know the wear abouts of Furiosa? Studio issue?

Kyle Peterson

I see we are collectively trying to destroy them with requiem for a dream 😂

Tay Schumaker

I’m good not ever watching Requiem again, but it’s a great movie

Daryl 👽

You got this, Artificial Intelligence 💆‍♂️💆‍♂️💆‍♂️💆‍♂️💆‍♂️💆‍♂️

Inkpendude

Ratatouille is one of the best animated movies ever for me. The story, The characters, the music, the way it ends. It's all so heartwarming. I hope it wins so I can see it again.

Anamondaris

I had to vote for Requiem because everyone should see it at least once. That being said, good luck with that emotional thunderstorm😂

Ari Ramirez

Requiem for a Dream is an incredible film with stellar performances and powerful music that I never want to watch again. That being said, I do think it's one that anyone with an interest in films and filmmaking should see at least once. It'll be a pain in the ass (pun fully intended) to censor for youtube though!

Galactic Cannibl

100% requiem for a dream! WHAT A F#@$ING FILM! Even though I'd love too see George's take on AI

Ken

Requiem should be a required watch in High School.

Joe Baldwin

yeah man, can't believe that shitty farrelys past their prime thing is somehow beating RFAD. A react to the latter would be so much better

Jeff I.

MM&I is one of the more forgettable Jim Carrey movies, in my opinion. Surprised it's doing so well, but Requiem for a Dream is a must watch! Excellent storytelling and great acting. Ratatouille is also a pretty good one, which I think Simone will love.

Jeff I.

Also, I had to give a vote to Million Dollar Baby. It's so good but probably a bit under the radar to ever get in the top two of a poll!

Jeff K.

I'm on the same page as you when it comes to Me, Myself, and Irene, and not just because you've got a terrific first name. I don't understand the love for it, honestly, but to each their own of course. I'm hoping for Ratatouille at this point, because as with any film like that, given George's background with restaurants, I'm super curious to hear his take on it.

Jon Johns

I think George should watch Ratatouille with his Dad 😉

Random Nevermind

Two movies from 2000s that I can suggest for the future poll Mr. Nobody 2009 The Painted Veil 2006 Thank you

Felreign

Ratatouille, please and thank you

Jonathan

When I read your reply I was like... "really? why?". Then I realized this isn't the movie I thought it was. I was confusing it with What Dreams May Come.

JC

Please add Into the Blue (2005) to future 2000's polls

RichieRich

New poll time. Good excuse to request Toy Story again

Ari Ramirez

Yeah, you don't wanna make that mistake at the family movie night eh

MacGuffinStuff

Day After Tomorrow is a ridiculous movie, Roman Emmerich doing his thing. But I love it like I love a good PB and J, with extra peanut butter, just a nice little snack, slightly indulgent, when you don't need a full meal.

Noel Valdez

Jurassic Park 3 is a guilty pleasure and I think personally while not a good movie a fun watch. Lol it’s also short and better than all the Jurassic world movies IMO.

MacGuffinStuff

I put 2012 in that category too. Which, btw, the Mayans didn't say the world would end in 2012, they said it would be the end of one cycle of history and the beginning of another, and I think that's true, before 2012 I could never have imagined what 2024 would be like.

RedCrusade

While Requiem for a Dream is an objectively great movie that George and Simone should watch, I decided after my first viewing I'd only like to watch it once in my life. Similar to The Mist. So, if that wins, I hope they enjoy that experience.

SuicuneSol

Aw man, AI Artificial Intelligence is not a film most reactors watch. Would be overjoyed if you watched it.

Simone's Coconut Squire

If you’re talking about 2000s, I think Stardust needs to be on the list. I think you two would enjoy that far better than some of the movies on this list, assuming y’all haven’t seen it yet.

maikeru

One of the best movies of the 90‘s: Bound (1996)

Adam

I will never watch that again. Not because I think it's bad, I just don't want to experience that ever again.

shaneth138

Lmao the ones I care about the least are the top 3 😆😅

shaneth138

Yep instead we’re going to get the ones every reactor and their mother has reacted to lol.

shaneth138

It’s a miserable film and they’ll hate it.

maikeru

won‘t win unfortunately although it‘s one of the top three on that poll

Simone's Coconut Squire

I always found Pi to be a superior Aronofsky film, but it’s pretty obscure compared to Requiem.

maikeru

nah, the best polls are where Falling Down or A Beautiful Mind or The Hours wins. also: any poll where the fine comedies The Hard Way or Nothing to Lose are one of the top two

MacGuffinStuff

AI has to be one of the most underrated Spielberg films.

maikeru

why? there are tons of thrillers and horror flicks where protagonists go through some serious/horrific shit yet nobody says it‘s bad for a reaction yet somehow ppl taking drugs and having a mental episode is a "terrible“ movie to watch for a reaction

Matthew Johnson

AI is excellent and has a very dark and daring third act that a lot of people can have trouble with. I remember hearing at the time that it was some uplifting Spielbergian ending, so I was shocked when I saw it because it’s perhaps the most existentially frightening thing Stevie ever put in a movie. A great thought-provoking watch!

maikeru

they let us down the few times Falling Down was on a poll

RedCrusade

It's such a good movie, and book! Simone would love it, if she hasn't already seen it

p0sthum4n

I think AI is the only interesting pick here.

Maiki

+1 Crank (both!), The Illusionist and Michael Clayton (IIRC Simone once mentioned that she's watching it every year on her moms birthday, so would be new only to George)

Farbod

Requiem for a Dream is slept on. Phenomenal film.

maikeru

@Ari well, george could make an exception and not edit that movie for youtube at all and just have the full reaction on patreon.. voila.

maikeru

in what way

Kim

Million Dollar Baby is powerful.

John

Slum dog Millionaire, Munich, American Gangster, Tears of the Sun, The boy in the striped pajamas

Maarten Martens

Requiem for a Dream is one of the most depressing films I've ever seen. The soundtrack is really amazing though. I definitely need some Ratatouille after watching it.

MacGuffinStuff

Good call, that's a great movie. Baby Bale.

Hugh Jass

Requiem for a Dream left me Godsmacked. Amazing film.

jmundt33a

Oof. Million Dollar Baby (with its gutpunch) and a bunch of…yikes.

Keith Brown

"Me, Myself and Irene"- Can't wait for the reaction looks and laughs on that one !!

Zach D

yea man bread crumb spoilers are the best.. ?? 🤡🤡

HUGO TORRES

Damn requiemn started off so strong but iguess consolation prize of me myself and irene isnt bad

jmundt33a

Not exactly an uplifting list.

Dustin

Thats because Kubrick developed A.I. (inspired by Brian Aldiss’s short story “Supertoys Last All Summer Long”) for decades but didn’t think the technology was ready. After his death, Spielberg took over, wrote the screenplay, and directed the film.

jmundt33a

Yes. Overdue. Quality is as good as anything on this list, but definitely more fun.

Arleigh

What better way to ring I. The New Year than with Requiem for a Dream

Dan Holmes

Guys Guys Guys... ONLY vote for Requiem For A Dream Let's get it to 100% lol

Terry Light

For sure!! Can't wait to see tge reaction to that!

Max Carter

Requiem for a Dream is a great movie but it's a very tough watch and frankly I don't think Simone in particular will enjoy it that much. That said it would be an interesting film to react to, there's a lot of interesting stuff going on with it

Brandon Meng

I gave votes to Million Dollar Baby and Ratatouille. Arguably Jay Baruchel's best work (alongside How to Train Your Dragon and She's Out of My League) and quintessential Disney/Pixar. Please consider for future polls: Perks of Being a Wallflower Manchester by the Sea Forgetting Sarah Marshall Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (perfect having just seen Moon) Sideways Nebraska Moonrise Kingdom About Time Midnight in Paris Blue Valentine Cheers!

Opti_Frog

Yes. Absolutely rock solid high-concept dramedy. And then Secretary. =)

Centuries of Sound

Guys we can't make them watch Requiem For A Dream, that's no way to start off a year.

maikeru

we can & we will 🤪

maikeru

@shaneth nah, they won‘t hate the movie. one thing is feeling bad for characters in a movie, but there is also the filmmalking, great directing/acting/cinematography/score..

Funny That

Well that is a list of movies from the 00s... if the Jackass crew did an 00s movie night, those would be the menu options, with RFAD being the one that you hope someone else ends up with. Good luck.

maikeru

🤪😩🤕🙈😅🥳

maikeru

I think, watching the Terrifier movies would destroy them 🤕

maikeru

🍪 👈for you

maikeru

yeah, he likes cooking 🧑‍🍳🐀

Lachlan Caldwell

Me, Myself and Irene. The writing is not the best, but you get to see Jim Carrey at his absolutely unhinged best. 😁

Cinebinge

Hi Adv20297 while we appreciate the passion and opinions everyone has towards their favorite movies, and we understand the desire for your personal choice to win, we must ask app patrons to keep things civil and refrain from needless and childish insults. We are all adults here and let's please try to keep things civil and pleasant. Continuing to insult the community and we will have no choice but the permanently ban the account. This is your only warning. Thank you.

Joe

Me, Myself and Irene tries way too hard to be funny and just falls flat. Easily the worst film on the poll, which explains its predictable lead.

Martin

The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford. Don’t think about it, just do it. You can thank me later.

sagesaria

These polls and cinebinge in general remind me just how far behind I am on movies I've watched, lol. Someday I'll fix that.

Helly R

Yeah the end is Kubrick. Some of the dark stuff in the middle are Spielberg additions. Many really misinterpreted this movie when it came out (I was one of them). It's been critically reappraised quite a bit since.

Daniel Simmons

Voted for Jurassic Park 3. I think it's the third best in the franchise behind Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. Very simple & fun monster/beast movie.

Helly R

It's brilliant but it's one of the very few great films I have no interest in ever seeing again.

iFixSAN

lol. Were all the comments about the reposted poll deleted or just mine?

Robinson vs. Parkinson's

My recs for this week's poll are: DRIVE - (2011 Nicolas Winding Refn) LEGENDS OF THE FALL - (1994 Edward Zwick)

Rob Church

Some of ya'll are a little dramatic about Requiem. It's a bleak movie sure, but you guys treat George and Simone like little kids sometimes. It's not the tape from "The Ring"

Mark McConnell

And Jude Law! Wow, he’s great in AI.

Jay Davis

well it has my vote

Sergio Meira

Mine, too. But it won't win, will it?

Sergio Meira

I don't think it's infantilizing to merely point out that Requiem for a Dream is quite the downer... G&S can certainly watch and even enjoy it, in the sense they enjoyed Black Mirror.

Ashkaun

A.I. sucks. I’m surprised anyone is voting for it. IMDb score if 7.2? Like, how?

Shane Willis

Me, Myself, and Irene is my if I'm sad or depressed I watch it movie. Jim Carrey unleashed is the best. I love that movie. I know it's not for everyone, but I like the over the topness of it.

Tirel Barnette

please watch requiem for a dream cuz it actually has a message

Happy Hanukkah

What I recall having "trouble" with, personally, was one ending after another after another.

Happy Hanukkah

In that case, I'll go with Henry V (1989). Oh Lordy, pick-a Bale! :-P :-)

Happy Hanukkah

Requiem for a Dream, eh? Did you know Ellen Burstyn stars in it? Did you know that soon afterwards, she was in the cast of the TV show That's Life (2000)? Did you know that I can't find this show anywhere? Do you know where I may be able to get or download a copy? Please? :-)

Rob Bob

Requiem for a dream will destroy you guys. Make sure you're ready for a film with no real happy endings (if you watch it that is lol).

Scott CineRam

Requiem For A Dream is ROUGH. Be advised.

Turnt SNACO

A.I was the first thing that caught my eye, not nearly enough reactions to it -- but Requiem??? I mean come on, it's no contest....

Jeb Manning

Definitely some other 2000's movies you should react to in the future. They would be so fun: -Road Trip (2000) -Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002) -Waiting... (2005) -Beerfest (2006) -The Slammin' Salmon (2009) -World's Greatest Dad (2009) -Coraline (2009) -Up (2009)

Olli

+ Drive

Olli

They loved In Bruges so Three Billboards by the same author/director should fit nicely. Manchester by the Sea wrecked me. Moonrise Kingdom is my favourite Wes Anderson film. Might even be just my favourite film all together. Simone mentioned on Grand Budapest reaction that she had seen some other films by Wes so that might make a difference. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a great modern comedy and I think those tend to do pretty well on Youtube.

Ginger

I recently rewatched Ratatouille and was certain you did that one already, then so wished there was a video for it. So happy it's on the poll and doing pretty well now :)

Florian

Ratatouille would be a perfect George movie I think, I would love to watch him watch it... sounds weird

Florian

I want to reccomed for upcomming St Pattys day, The Boondock Saints. Awsome movie and one of my most beloved Willem Dafoe performances <3

Logan Kerlee

Cannot find a single place online that's hosting that show. Was it abysmally bad or something?

jmundt33a

I love Patton Oswalt, but Ratatouille will always be the thing that delayed Incredibles 2 for a decade.

Amar

Why is Requiem for a dream in this list no one wants to be traumatized on a Saturday afternoon! Can Million Dollar baby win a poll please, these patrons are sadistic lol

jmundt33a

Haven’t they done Up? Road Trip or its cousin Overnight Delivery would be my choice off that list.

jmundt33a

If only it were that mellow.

jmundt33a

HH—sorry, wrong movie. 2006, not 2000.

Dwight Scarn

The first half is the best and then the 3rd act gets a little so so, but yeah Jim Carreys performance makes the movie

Steve Small

I'd love to see you react to Lucky Number Slevin

maikeru

chill, it‘s 2nd place right now, it won’t be on a saturday afternoon if it remains like this, but either way you don‘t have to watch it 🫡❣️

maikeru

@jmundt elaborate please

maikeru

It doesn‘t suck at all, but okay not everybody has the same taste

jmundt33a

One of my favorites. I’ll keep bringing it up.

jmundt33a

Brad Bird boondoggle.

jmundt33a

I’m more of a Spitfire Grill fan. Some similarities to Waitress from 2007.

jmundt33a

I actually prefer the film version.

jmundt33a

I love The Illusionist and Mr. And Mrs. Smith. Crank is mindless fun. Time Traveler’s Wife has some excellent moments, but the ending is a gut punch.

Simone's Coconut Squire

Woah that’s a bold statement considering the novel was Neil Gaiman. Never read it, so not debating, just impressed.

jmundt33a

He also has some weird fixation with a particular CGI collapse. Independence Day, Day After Tomorrow, and 2012. Didn’t watch Moonfall to see if he maintained the pattern.

Wally Hartshorn

I voted for Requiem, even though I've never seen it. It's been on my "watch someday" list for ages, so this will be my motivation to finally watch it. Everyone says that it's the greatest film I'll never want to watch again. I'll see whether they're right.

Nat Num

- Apocalypto (2006) - Big Fish (2003) - The Blind Side (2009) - The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button (2008) - The Proposal (2009)

Jay Davis

As the new year approaches, I want to Drive George and Simone to make a resolution to watch a Ryan Gosling movie from, oh... say... 2011? But let's call it an Albert Brooks movie to get Simone's support?

jmundt33a

If someone has a recording of that Tulalipp set, I’d be interested in laughing at that.

jmundt33a

It’s sort of a Mathilda thing. The body and details of the novel are fuller and richer, but I MUCH prefer the film ending.

Happy Hanukkah

Logan, it was a decent show which only got canceled in its second season. :-) It's just another of those shows that dropped off the radar. I suppose the fact that its lead actress, Heather Paige Kent aka Heather Dubrow, quit acting (or vice versa) also plays a role in its low profile. (I enjoyed her in her role. I especially enjoyed the ensemble cast, with Peter Firth, Ellen Burstyn, Paul Sorvino, etc.)

Happy Hanukkah

jmundt, I don't even remember hearing about Spitfire Grill. I enjoyed Waitress, though I can't guarantee I didn't watch it with fast-forward. (Apropos Spitfire, you now have me going down a Will Patton rabbit-hole and doubting my own memories.)

Happy Hanukkah

Wikipedia: "The show developed a small fan base and received generally positive critical response, but languished in the ratings, despite the presence of well-known names in its cast, in part because it aired during the Friday night death slot for much of its run. It was cancelled at the end of the second season."

Amar

Oh i know i won't be watching it, it will be on Thursday. My favourites keep coming 3rd in these polls, quite frustrating but i love democracy!

jmundt33a

Saw most of the first season on reruns…I think on the channel that eventually became Freeform.

Jay Davis

And here I thought I was the only one pestering them about Drive. Happy New Year!

Jay Davis

Holds a special place in my soul, that one does. And... yes. I even went and bought the watch after seeing it in theaters. Don't judge me!

Kial O'C

Just a few recommendations: Wanted (2008) Mr. Right (2015) Pitch Perfect (2012) + sequels 500 Days of Summer (2009) Get Him to the Greek (2010) Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) Accepted (2006) Yes Man (2008) Grown Ups 1+2 (2010+2013) Blades of Glory (2007) 21 (2008) Up In The Air (2009) Jennifer’s Body (2009) Triangle (2009) Jeepers Creepers (2001) Van Helsing (2004) Night at the Musuem (2006) Shooter (2007) Jumper (2008) Hancock (2008) Tomb Raider (2001) Knowing (2009) National Treasure (2004) The Italian Job (1969 and 2003 remake comparison)

Dirge Girl

Asshes to asshes. Butts to butts.

Tyler

Speaking of Jim Carrey movies, I am surprised that almost none of the reactors have considered reacting to The Majestic. I get that it isn't as highly acclaimed as his other movies, but the story is lovely, and it's directed by freaking Frank Darabont. I don't understand why I'm evidently alone in loving that movie.

Brandon Meng

lots of solid movies here but lemme just highlight these ones: Forgetting Sarah Marshall (best romcom ever, I've recommended it several times) Yes Man (best Jim Carrey) National Treasure (classic, essential Nic Cage) 500 Days of Summer (indie, quirky love and romance and there's nothing like it) Night at the Museum (pure fun)

Brandon Meng

can definitely get behind this

UnlicensedOkie

Y’all are gonna love me myself and Irene

UnlicensedOkie

Still gonna throw out there Dog Soldiers

nossieboy

It is great and it is rough.

Robinson vs. Parkinson's

Happy New Year! I've been holding off from rewatching it in hopes that it will miraculously win a poll.

Terry Light

Really wish you would Bunraku from 2010. Also, Rare Exports, also from 2010

droodly

Requiem for a Dream is like ordering really spicy food from a nice restaurant. You can tell it's a well made quality dish, but may regret ordering it for days afterwords, or at all.

Wrencher86

Seems like the other poll got deleted? Anyway, I'm here to shill for Million Dollar Baby as the superior option to the two leads and recommend Ravenous again. M,M,&I is just another Jim Carrey movie and Requiem trades mostly in shock value (it is memorable, I'll give it that).

Michael M.

No offense, but I think more than half of these are mid at best in my opinon

Kial O'C

Yeah they’re not all incredible masterpieces of film, very few films ever have been or will be, a lot are just fun. My favourite film is Eternal Sunshine but that doesn’t mean it gives me more enjoyment than something ridiculous like Dodgeball or Anchorman.

Alexrandom

I thought requiem for a dream was great when I was a teenager. Now I find every of Arnonofsky's movies pretty immature and without much substance. Still if you guys watch it, it's a pretty unique experience. Hope you enjoy it. The real forgotten masterpiece here is clearly AI. So many people dismiss it as being a minor Spielberg or a half-baked Kubrick. I couldn't disagree more. It's really fascinating, explores deep themes and the production around it is fascinating. I hope you get to this one day (or any other Spielberg for that matter, the man is an absolute master)

Be Human

I'd highly reccomend not watching Requiem for a Dream.

Kevin Ehle

Would love to see 'Wind River (2017)' make the polls.

jmundt33a

Mr. Right is a lot of fun Forgetting Sarah Marshall is great Yes Man is the last of the sweet side of Jim Carrey’s mania. Liar Liar might be his best, but this is good. Up in the Air is good Jennifer’s Body is a great mix of wisecrack, sexy, and horror. Tomb Raider 2001 is mostly about Jolie’s look I like Shooter. And Hancock had a lot of potential I like Anna Kendrick a lot. I like Anna Kendrick singing. And yet, Pitch Perfect is a bit much for me. I’d argue that “essential Nicholas Cage” is almost an oxymoron. Though not quite. And there are many enjoyable Nic Cage films.

Amar

People love shock factor more than calm fun movies lol

Logan Kerlee

Thank you so much for the response! :)

Jay

Yeah, that's why Me, Myself and Irene is polling so badly, that's why a film like 50 First Dates would never do well on a Cinebinge poll.... oh wait.

Jay

Honestly, some the RFAD comments are ridiculous. I get it, some of you want Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Fast and Furious, spoof movies and the like non-stop. Well some of us occasionally want something a bit challenging, something they're not going to giggle their way through for 90 minutes. It's a film about addiction so no, it won't be a 50 First Dates type reaction. Of course it's going to be fucking grim, and rightfully so. Also, I'd say it's worth watching for the soundtrack alone, even if Lux Aeterna has been played to death:)

Jay

Yeah, they'd have a laugh MDB alright:)

Wrencher86

I get where you're coming from (you're likely to be flagged for not being nice enough, which... kind of bugs me but it ain't my channel so I don't make the rules) but at the same time I feel like Requiem isn't really "challenging" so much as just kind of schlocky. I wouldn't mind seeing them react to it, but I think the actual gut punch movie on this list is Million Dollar Baby. Requiem is hopeless from the start. MDB puts you through the ringer on whether things are going to be OK or not.

Lex Kuzma

Oh man. Requiem is absolutely required viewing for everyone just once.

CT

I wish A.I. would win, and I mostly agree. But, I still love The Fountain.

Jay

I wasn't trying to be nasty, but when I see comments literally saying they shouldn't watch a movie just because it's grim or depressing, I do think it's ridiculous.

sarCC

Reiterating that reactions to Longlegs, Strange Darling, and The Substance would be great.

GBmain

I'm voting for the day after tomorrow, good for the occasional CineCringe night

Ashkaun

Obviously I’m in the minority 😂. 63% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is great. I saw it as a kid and again as an adult and was surprised how many people actually like it.

PureGonzo

Oh man, how did I miss this poll? Damn haha. Well I hope Requiem for a Dream still gets watched at some point :)

HeyHeyJK

Wow, 'Requiem for a Dream' came SO close to them watching... and then being scarred forever from doing so.

Adam K

How does Jurassic Park 3 even make a poll???

OldBeardedGuyReacts

I love this channel. I'm a subscriber and always will be...but it is a bit depressing when great movies get passed over because a large segment of the audience is like "oh you liked the 2 decent Jim Carrey comedies? Let's watch you react to EVERY garbage movie he ever made." It is what it is. You win some you lose some. But it can be a bummer sometimes.

Stephanie Bedworth

Me, too. I expected almost nothing out of that one when I sat down to watch it and it turned out to be quite gripping. I couldn't take my eyes off the damn thing.

Deven Tazz

It's a good thing you're not running the channel.

Turnt SNACO

I can't believe Requiem ACTUALLY lost to Me, Myself, & Irene.... One of the most equally amazing and devasting films ever made, got outvoted by what is, at best, one of the strangest and weirdly paced comedies I've ever seen.
