Despite the problems, this is my second-favorite of Daniel Craig's Bond series. I know I'm in the minority, but I think it's all downhill from here. I find the following films disappointing. This at least has solid bones, even if the structure built on top of the bones is a little flimsy.

I like Skyfall quite a bit, more than this, and that’s all down to Javier Bardem. But “No Time to Die,” blech. I think it’s one of the worst of all Bond films.

I'm with you on "No Time To Die". I went on loooooong internet rants when that came out. A few years later I happened to say the phrase 'no time to die' at work (It was a very busy time) and that got me so aggravated again i went back and reposted all of my rants just to let out the frustration!

I like Skyfall a good bit but I pretty much agree with you... I guess that makes this my third favorite Craig Bond movie? For all the flaws, I think this and Casino Royale are the only ones to have done something genuinely interesting and unexpected with the character. I love how all the machismo is just an obvious facade he uses to mask some very real vulnerability. Wish they did more of that! But it's cool we at least got these two movies.

This is not to try to persuade you to agree with me, or to tell you you are wrong for your opinion or how you feel. In fact I think Skyfall is a better made movie than Quantum of Solace. But Skyfall did something that Quantum failed to do--and that was persuade me to give up on the 007 franchise. I'm only putting it here bc the lack of negative opinions about Skyfall in the public or internet if baffling to me, and I feel like leaving my FREAK flag out here in a nonjudgmental place, where I do not expect to be attacked for having a different feeling about the movie.

I disagree, even the worst of the Moore movies (and I like all of them to a greater or lesser degree as that’s who was Bond when I was growing up and I’m fond of Moore’s Bond) is far, far better than this movie (and “No Time to Die”!).

Terrible sequel imo. Also i absolutely can't stand the shaky camera. Its a waste of all the stunt work and choreography. But this is bridge to greatness which is Skyfall!!! A MAJOR STEP UP IN QUALITY. My fave bond film

This movie blows ass, not based on the stories of Ian Fleming, shaky cam right from the start, olga kurylenko is a model, not an actress, Craig isn't having any fun, and on top of it, the script was written during Brosnan era, and shelved for being THIS. total let down for me, but there are always bumps in the road, I am happy to walk with you!
