What a rare gem of a film. I don’t watch much from India, but the first time I watched this I was blown away—by its epic scale, way it shifted genres, the action sequences, and of course the two lead performances. I’m kind of jealous you got to see this for the first time. It’s one of those I wish u could wipe my memory to watch it fresh again.

A little known connection between this and Indiana Jones is that Alison Doody who plays Lady Scott also played Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the woman who ultimately couldn’t give up her greed for the Grail (and also slept with both father and son).

Just FYI George: I watched the uncovered version of RRR this afternoon and realized it was overexposed. In bright scenes the whites are blown-out and the contrast seems boosted. The problem is not present in the YT edit. (not saying it needs a re-render, it's watchable) Just maybe something to watch out for in the future. Left: how the film is supposed to look. we've reached out to our service provider, hopefully an answer at some point. for now try clearing your cache, as well as maybe another browser? this doesnt seem to be a universal problem for everyone as we can see the posts are getting views on the hosting site. so we're kind of trouble shooting alongside with you.

that is odd.. 5xx errors mean server usually, but 500 means its uncertain what the cause is, just that theres difficulty communication with your devices request. its the same across multiple devices and browsers? or just one device so far?

The side to side head bob is the Indian nod. It's funny to me that they are the only culture that does this. I really want someone to explain to me how every culture in the world has about the same head movements except the one culture in the middle of the cultural trade.

Loved this: so glad you've already got it in your library. I watched it in full, then turned it on again immediately. Another one I like is Om Shanti Om, but I haven't seen anything except what I remember of Don 2 that could even come close to this.

I didn't expect George, the hobby historian, to think that this (awesome) film is an accurate representation of British colonial rule. His comments about watching Chinese anti-British propaganda films about Hong Kong was telling. It's almost like he doesn't appreciate the enormous privilege he has been given: The honor of being a subject of his Sovereign, King Charles III. The monarch and ruler of the slightly damp corpse of the British Empire, which still includes Canada. Huzzah! ;-)
