We now need a new LONG (4 seasons or more) tv show to replace the Better Call Saul slot! Whatever show wins this poll will begin after Season 1 of Andor ends, and we'll continue to Season 2 of Andor after the first season of this polls winner!

Again, this poll is for LONG tv shows, which is anything with 4 seasons or more. We'll be doing another short tv show poll after Andor is completed. So if the show you want didn't win the last poll, dont worry, there will be more polls!

A show that didnt win isnt deleted forever, it just means it will be watched later, thats all.

Anthony Fumai

I would love to see you guys react to The Sopranos.

ChristianK

Come on cousin!!! Please hopefully the Bear wins

Michael

I really hope Barry wins this one

Anhad Kalra

The bear is amazing and by the time you reach season four season 5 may very well be out.

Nathan Jasper

Walking Dead or Stranger Things! Hyyyyyyyype!

Inkpendude

This is more serious and important than a presidential election vote

Dragonhunter

Oh my god. A barry reaction would be sooo good! Hope it wins.

Vengeance

Plus the new season starting soon

DonkyDave

I’m sure the comments on this poll will be very mature with zero arguing or conflict

akaTheBAY-AY-RON

I ask you... Where's the gabagool, George and Simone? WHERE'S the gabagool?

Jeff K.

I’m fine with Stranger Things because I’m rewatching it with my son (his first viewing) anyway, but I have to admit I was hoping Succession or The Bear would pull this one out.

Adam

I think Barry only has 3 seasons. And each season is just 8 half-hour episodes. You could knock out a season in just 2 weeks. It probably belongs on the short poll.

Denashi

Stranger Things! I also want to recommend Fringe!

SANAMDEEP

SOPRANOS IS A MUST WATCH!!!!

mojo shivers

I feel like Stranger Things is going to win, which is great. But I don’t how good of a fit it is for the channel. I can’t put my finger on why. Like somehow it’s not the channel I would think for doing Stranger Things despite loving how well most reactors take to it and despite this being an S-Tier reaction channel.

Roberto Abitua

15 seasons of Supernatural instead. Complete it in 2030. Kidding. Sort of. (Barry!)

Grant Uebel

Ahhhh please please please be stranger things!!!! Perfect timing with the final season: part 1 being released end of November!!!!!

funky weapon

Succession or Mad Men for me. really can't go wrong with most of the shows here.

Inkpendude

this sucks for me because the later seasons where kinda bad, except maybe the last one. oh well

Paul Mix

Have either of you already seen Battlestar Galactica (2004)?

Michael

I think Stranger Things is good but I just don't enjoy/watch/vote for any reaction for any channel I follow when 50% or more of the viewers aren't first timers. Just how I roll. But one day they'll get to Sopranos and Korra and everything else on the list so I'm not fretting over it=)

deific

When are you guys going to finish The Expanse?

Liam Nissan

I desperately want George's take on The Bear

Mark Polo

C'mon guys we need the Stranger things for S5!!

Collinson

Fingers crossed for Sopranos. Such a legendary show.

BoredLittleLady

I’ve heard great things about a lot of these shows but I can only give an honest vote for what I’ve seen and enjoyed. Stranger Things! Legend of Korra! Mad Men! I must recommend (again) Cobra Kai!!! (Just watch the Karate Kid Trilogy first)

Matt

I'd love a chance to watch Succession again with a reaction so that would be my top pick but honestly all of these shows are great, not on the list but MR ROBOT is my personal favorite show of all time I'd highly recommend 😊✌

NymarosGames

Would love to see Lost among the choices, arguably one of the shows that kickstarted the modern era of serialized TV. It’s also one of my all-time favorites, and I’d really enjoy watching you react to it and hearing your theories along the way. All the best George and Simone, really love your stuff!

Zhivko Yakimov

I enjoyed the first season of Stranger Things, had enough during the second one, so I stopped watching, just not for me. It appears it will win, given the steady lead already, so it is what it is. I did like the soundtrack of the first season, though, I love old analogue synths, so at least there is that. I remember you mentioned during the second batch of Andor episodes that you would have enjoyed something different from sci-fi or fantasy. But I guess if that was the case, you should not have put a hugely popular fantasy show on the poll, right? :)

Carl Noraas

I feel like wars will start over this one. Hopefully everyone just sticks to "breakin' bawllss".

J Danger87

Resident Alien would be a good one in the future. Season 4 just finished.

JBK405

Okay "The Sopranos" is my #1 choice, I would LOVE to re-experience this show with you. There are several good #2 choices as well. Unfortunately "Stranger Things" is in the lead right now, and I'm oddly uninterested in re-experiencing that show. Season 1 certainly ain't bad, but I've got no urge to rewatch it. Come on Tony!

Andi Herr

Crazy that Mad Men doesn't have more votes.

Inkpendude

there's always that one show/movie that is perfect in every way, but not a lot of people have seen so it never wins the poll

Jonathan Eaton

“Woke up this morning and got yourself a gun.”

noura s

please let sopranos win this time..

Warmachine1228

Check out Burn Notice. 7 seasons. Amazing show!

Tcrimson05T

Oh we need the Bear 🐻. The Bear is absolute Cinema.

dys

Much as I want them to finish their journey in the Avatar universe and much as I love (mainly the later seasons of) Korra, there’s no way I can vote for it against a whole bunch of the greatest TV shows ever made.

Matt

Alien: Earth is off to a good start so that might be a great sifi show for the future too 👽

Alexrandom

To me that's "the leftovers" or "Watchmen" but not many people are fans of that. (And honestly hardcore fans tend to be a bit annoying 😅)

Jasper Collins

Still really sad that the Expanse just wasn't right for you. I wonder how you'd feel now.

Encorvado

What do you mean part one?! The drag...

MR

It's not a very "reactable" series.

SANAMDEEP

sopranos has to pull it off cmonn

Jeff K.

And I've said it before, but man, I would love to get George's take on it given his history working in kitchens, as well as his dad's.

Hanno

I need Mad Men desperately

Śéáń

Barry on a poll! It won't win this time but The Hope now has filament! Mad Men is eventually on the cards too, hopefully. Lots of strong contestants, I wouldn't be mad at any winning this one (well, I'd be disappointed with just one of them, I guess)

Clipped

Stranger Things gets ridicules after s01 imo. It’s like, that entire town goes through an apocalypse every single season? S01 is truly special tho. Barry is excellent. Unlike anything I’ve seen on tv. Smart and very funny. I’m still hoping for Gilmore Girls. It’s in my top 3 shows all time and I would have known how good it was unless I stumbled on it during s01. It was marketed to young girls so I was not the demo. But after one episode I was hooked. It’s so fast and so funny. It’s like small West Wing + Veep + Northern Exposure + crazy obscure alt music references with appearances from Grant Lee Buffalo, Sonic Youth and Sparks!!! Brilliant show.

Adam

For the love of god pick the sopranos!!!

CD

Now THIS...is a tough poll!

Alex Laime

Fargo is so good. Barry also, but I could have done without that last season.

Jeff K.

Hard same. Would love to get his take given how realistic the kitchen stuff apparently is.

Greg Johanson

I wish I could sopranos 20 times

PIG

I’m rewatching it with two other reactors and I’m surprised how well it stands up. Incredible writing and acting.

Will

Goddamit was really hoping for Succession. Stranger things really falls apart at season 4, feel like the show has run it's course really.

Patrick

Barry is a good choice.

Sikozu

Would Walking Dead not be 3 weeks only? S1 has only 6 episodes. My first pick: Succession seems unlikely to win, so throwing some love to Stranger Things (Had a psych major flat mate obsessed with Sopranos at uni and this show gives me war flashbacks xd but I understand it has plenty of fans so will not begrudge them if they win)

Kim Jong-un

Fargo season 2 is peak television. Stranger things is good, but only the first two seasons.

mraran

Korra is so magical, I would love to enjoy some fantasy and orchestral score

PIG

Get that Old Fashion ready (I’m sure they’ll watch is some day)

Grant Uebel

Season 5 episodes will be released in 3 chunks. Part 1 at Thankgiving time, part two a month later at Christmas, and the finale part will be released New Year’s Eve. It was incredibly successful when they split season 4 in chunks a month and a half a part. I love the choice to drag it out a little. I don’t want it to end!!

Clinton Bull

Soprano's absolutely. Any HBO classics are gonna get the vote from me. Especially Deadwood -nudge nudge wink wink-

Martin

C’mon guys…Sopranos.

Sikozu

Also throwing in short show rec for post-Andor: Silo.

noura s

Anyone who doesn’t vote for the sopranos is going to the mattresses.

mpd

Everybody vote Sopranos and then log off!! That cookie shit makes me nervous

Eric Taylor

Definitely Stranger Things. Has Simone seen any seasons past the first?

CD

Soo good!

PIG

I loved it but I don’t think many of these people watched it.

Greg In East TN

Did you consider Longmire? (It even has "long" in the title!). It's a great show and last year, I visited where they filmed(?) it. It was a top-rated show on A&E. But the executives at A&E didn't like the demographics of those tuning in (40+ years old instead of teens to 30s), so they canceled it (a bad decision, IMO). Anyways, Netflix picked it up for three more seasons (4 through 6). I think it's a great show, and last year I went to visit where the filming locations were, the town, Las Vegas NM. The town still keeps the door decorations on the glass on Longmire's Sheriff's office door on the street in the town square. It's about a small town sheriff who recently lost his wife, along with his three deputies. It's supposed to take place in Wyoming, but the logistics for the production company were prohibitive. Anyways, you should check it out. I've seen all the episodes 4 or 5 times. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1836037/ Be well, Greg

David

succession will never win 😞

BoredLittleLady

Hadn’t thought about it that way but I think Mad Men would still be a good series for commentary.

PIG

Not too bad so far actually lol

ShōNuff3K

Oh no. Fargo has no chance. Vote Fargo! 🥺 Pleeaasse

Dirk

What about DARK?

TheLeftPecOfTheLord

Honestly I’d consider just alternating between sopranos and stranger things, comparatively speaking ST is a lot shorter than Sopranos. ST is 32 total episodes in 4 seasons and Sopranos is 86 over 6

Hanno

This is for shows with 4 more seasons only. Hopefully Dark replaces Andor

Liam Nissan

I also put my vote down for Mad Men, since i've heard really good things.. but.. really.. I am willing to pay money to get George's perspective on The Bear..

Dan Holmes

Freaks and Geeks for the next short show pls ♥️

Dirk

Ah yeah, I didn't read properly ^^

SANAMDEEP

i feel like a gambling addict the way i keep checking to see if sopranos is winning

Don Kanonji

It would confuse the shit out of them both But could be fun

Thomas Yanez

I'd love to see your reaction to "Letterkenny". 12 seasons, but only 6-7 episodes per season.

John

I certainly hope The Good Place will make either next short or long tv polls. I think it would be a great watch.

SJB

I was looking for an excuse to watch The Sopranos again, so fingers crossed. And as they're obviously going to come first and second, I'm behind teg suggestion of alternating between that and Stranger Things.

lalaland

theyve probably seen it being Canadian and all. pretty sure Simone even mentioned it before.

Sean Cole

Sons of Anarchy, 7 seasons from 2008-2014, total 92 episodes

Hanno

Mad Men not being a "reactable" series is nonsense. 'Watch This! with Joe and Kevin' and 'LM Reactions' reacted to Mad Men and it was an incredible watch

lalaland

i would imagine it would say "Season 1 and 2 only new to George" or whatever if shes seen past it.

lalaland

lol i think if the shows on run are Star Trek, Wars and Gate. a lot of people would just leave.

dave

Lost.

Thomas Yanez

🤔 Heh, yeah. Duh. Good point.

lalaland

or we can, you know. let them decide for themselves.

lovemoose

Yea there are some really good shows here so I hope one day they start alternating. It kinda sucks to have to wait for them to finish an entire show before they start a new one.

Michael L.

Is Stranger Things really worth watching beyond 2 seasons though? 1 was really good, 2 was pretty good, 3 was fun but insubstantial, and I don't even remember if I watched 4, which means if I did it was forgettable (is there a 5?). I really wish they had stuck to the original idea of an anthology show.

Chris Graham

Stranger things would be great before the final season but also I think they would like Stargate SG1, such a good show

John

Fringe is a great show, very layered and I would argue a more focused version of the X-files

lalaland

i think the way fans of that show treated S&G soured the show a lot too. i wouldnt want to watch a show if every recording people just tell me im 'watching it wrong' or 'youre not suppose to feel that way thats wrong, you should feel the way im telling you to feel'.

Jessi

Stranger Things, definitely

Jimmy Olofsson

Out of the options I think either Succession or Sopranos would be cool. Would also like to shout out The Shield that I just finished (awesome show) and maybe a more unlikely one - Lost (maybe my all time favorite show).

Kim Jong-un

Yes, no one is allowed an opinion!

maikeru

All of them are great. But although I’d prefer they watch Sopranos and Succession first, it’s kinda weird that TWD and Mad Men are doing so poory on the poll. I mean, TWD is a must-watch IMO just like Sopranos.

maikeru

it doesn’t look good rn :/

Richard Hill

I prefer comedies. Would love to see something like Community or Big Bang Theory, Parks and Recreation.

Matthew Hamby

IMO, 2 was the only drop off season. 1, 3 and 4 were great. The only problem with the show is the amount of time between seasons. Something, they won't have to worry about.

Steve

Agree. The first season is amazing.

FWPJR.

Damn, I really needed Sopranos to win this. I’ve been waiting to see you two react to it for awhile now. It’s my second favorite show ( BB is my favorite ) but I knew Stranger Things was going to win, and right now it looks like I’m right about that. Well, maybe next time.

Jonathan Eaton

Even though Strangers Things takes place in my home state, has a main character with my name, and he graduates the same year I did, I would rather watch Sopranos, Fargo, or Barry because only the first two seasons were great.

Jobbe Smit

I agree with the Sopranos but we might not want to admit it, it's old. TWD though it's almost as bad as GoT where the later seasons completely destroy whatever the early seasons had build as quality.

maikeru

@Don yeah, that’s why it’d be better if they watched 3 or 4 episodes per video/week (the reel rejects guys watch 4 ep Dexter in a row per week) because waiting a week after every 2 ep will make them forget stuff here and there and shit will get confusing in Dark very quickly.

VirtuallyVeronicka

Stranger Things to get ready for the series finale this winter!!

Jobbe Smit

Stargate is such a classic, I second this.

PIG

“Cocksucker!”

Graham Bullman

How about Alien:Earth for the next short show poll after Andor? Also agree with Fringe for the next long show poll.

Korpse

A legit reason to go back and rewatch stranger things woot 🙌

maikeru

Furio will visit them

Lemons

BARRY!

maikeru

I’m currently watching Succession s3 and I like the whole show very much, the score is amazing too.

matan ron

Please watch Fargo. It's so good.

Smooticus

As much as I emjoy Soppranos, I had to put my votes in for other programs, mostly becasue it' son too many other reaction channels right now. We're seeing oversaturation

SANAMDEEP

ikr i'm so sad lmaoo

Beginning_of_a_new_era

Stranger things pleaseeee and for short show wednesday or cyberpunk edgerunners

Chris

Stranger Things beating any of, much less all of, The Sopranos, Succession, The Bear, Mad Men, and Barry... makes me very sad.

Graham Bullman

Also, Adolescence for the short show poll, as it's only a 4 episode limited series.

Mastervodo

Easy pick! Stranger Things!

J Lawrence

If sopranos doesn't beat stranger things I might lose hope for humanity

Jimi Hart

Have you guys seen “as good as it gets” if not you need to do a reaction. Oscar winner from the 90s with Jack Nicholson. 🪓

Jimi Hart

As for TV shows: American Horror Story needs to poll at some point

Raven Dark

Yaaas! Stranger Things!

Emily G

Mad Men!!!!!!! Omg

jose giron

Honestly adding a pause between seasons to any of these shows IDK man, don't think thats such a great idea. Can't imagine only watching season 1 of succesion.

howtocookazombie (Stan)

I have an alternative suggestion: Set up cat-cams and make a lifestream for us. 😍

ChiefKC

No "Person of Interest"?

Will

George seems to like a fair amount of English TV would be curious if he's seen it already, if not think he'd definetly love it

lalaland

who said the switch between seasons would mean they would only watch season 1 of a show?

Dragonhunter

They watch all seasons. They just switch the show after each season so people who aren't interested in the one show have a chance to watch another show after each season.

Joe Baldwin

yeah I have been trying to rep them Peep Show for years now lol

Clipped

Me too. But it became a cash cow. And you're 100% right, s01 is damn near perfection. A great show has to have an unmistakeable vibe (s01 Twin Peaks will forever be the king imo) and s01 Stranger Things nailed it.

Dragonhunter

I think 2 was the worst. 1 and 3 were fun. 4 was good but some sideplots are boring and some episodes way too long. But I'm happy with it if it holds the lead. I think I'd rather watch that again then sopranos.

Elroy

Can’t wait to see 30 year olds play high school freshmen and them do the same thing over and over again by having Millie Bobby brown scream

SANAMDEEP

sopranos cmon man LMAO

Adverb

Mad Men is the best show on this list, too bad it's not winning. 😞

R_Van_S

Or Stargate SG-1.

Hugo Bovenius

The serie Lost would be a perfect fit

Brian McG

With how much you loved the movie, I'm still wondering when you're gonna watch What We Do In The Shadows. It's 6 seasons.

Dragonhunter

Doing a show with 214 episodes would be horrible. And as nostalgic as I am for the show, it's just not very good compared to most stuff on the list.

Dragonhunter

I think season 2 is my favourite too. I skipped season 4 though.

Colin Reid

Not really into any of those shows so I’m not voting so as not to skew the poll for those that do like some or one in particular.

HeyHeyJK

Ugh, I shouldn’t have hoped that Barry would be in the top running. Still one of the greatest TV series I’ve ever watched and for as much as Simone, in particular, loves Bill Hader, it would be such a great watch because it’s an amazing show. Oh well.

Dragonhunter

Kidding was really good. Was nice to see Jim Carry in something more serious.

Xavier Casanova

Simone has mentioned Alias before so I assume she's watched LOST but has George? If not, he'd LOVE the mythology in it. And if Simone hasn't, she'd love the drama aspect. It's the perfect show for them both.

Xavier Casanova

I immediately posted LOST without even seeing the comments. I'd be surprised if at least one of them hasn't seen it already but if not, they MUST do it. It's a perfect fit for both.

JayF

Thank goodness the logical choice is winning so far. Still waiting for at least one season of Fringe. Sci-fi show with an 8.4 IMDB rating, stars some of your favorites like John Noble and Lance Reddick. There will be more you may recognize from previous reactions. Some other good shows to consider - Justified ER (the first 5-6 seasons are incredibly good, set a new bar for network TV at the time) Miami Vice (so 80s it will 80 your 80s but incredibly influential) Battlestar Galactica (the 2000s reboot)

Matrim

No Buffy?

Brandon

Can't you do some of us a solid and vote Sopranos? 😉

Philipp Roensch

Guess I need a Soprano Box set finally. This looks promising, Fargo, some day.

Alex Ch

(Edited because my original comment seemed harsher than I intended.) I really enjoyed Lost, but I don’t think it would do well as a reaction experience on this channel. I can’t really elaborate on the reasons without spoilers.

Brandon

Agreed. Sadly a show like that will never win a poll against shows with zombies, organized crime, time travel etc.

Philipp Roensch

Still on my long list: Rome, Twin Peaks.

Alex Ch

I’d like to see Arrested Development in a long poll at some point. I think it really rewards George and Simone’s watching and reacting styles.

Roger Davies

Red Dwarf you smegheads. 🤪

Tucci

I'd say binge Stranger Things since the finale will be during the holidays and then just edit and release it slowly but you guys are probably pretty busy. It would suck to get spoiled because of social media though.

Hugo Bovenius

Nah i think it got plot twists and cliffhangers enough to be resistant to spoilers. Even if y got a spoiler early on you wouldn't understand the spoiler until u see it

Hugo Bovenius

Even if u got a spoiler about the ending of the show now you would not even get a glimpse of 99 procent of the show

Tay Schumaker

I'd be happy with any of The Bear, Barry or Stranger Things. I think Barry and The Bear are stronger shows, but I'm a sucker for ST too, and it's the perfect time to start it for your views

Lukas

I second this! Although it seems to be in yet another league in terms of length compared to those currently for selection ...

jmundt33a

New only to George? Would that EVER win a poll as new only to?

Haye Zeus

People still care about Stranger Things? Interesting. I dropped it during season 3. And I know it has memes and making old artists popular again. So I know it has its foothold. But it beating The Sopranos? Strange….Things.

Stephanie Bedworth

I think I can count on one hand how many channels I’ve seen react to it. It’s a shame, that’s for sure.

jmundt33a

Mad Men, Barry, Sopranos, Stranger Things In that order of preference.

SANAMDEEP

took the words out of my mouth exactly

D

Out of my mouth. Exactly.

Cory Garron

Fringe also has Joshua Jackson, who im sure they know of, considering he's from Vancouver.

D

I mean, if you haven’t seen the Sopranos yet, I’d say that should probably take priority, but we shall see how the vote shakes out. To the victor belongs the spoils.

John

Person of Interest is a great show and asks really interesting questions

ExquisiteCapybara

i hear that Fargo is based on a true story... seriously though: Fargo is similar to True Detective in the sense that each season is its own storyline with its own characters. so maybe this is more something for the "short show" poll?

Cinebinge

Hi Chris, while we understand that the show in lead may not be to your personal liking, we ask all patrons to remain respectful of other peoples preferences. You have been warned about this before, as well as to not spam reply this to multiple people. We feel that perhaps our channel is just not suitable for you and that it will be best for both parties, as well as the enjoyment of everyone else here that we simply terminate this patronage permanently. We wish you good luck in finding another channel thats, as you put it, geared towards adults. Good bye.

Flori85

I bet (!) so much you would love Mad Men, keep up the fun guys, all the best

adv97

How is fargo not even top 3 in this poll?

LengyelFlo

Cobra Kai per chance, sometime? (The first 2-3 seasons are good.)

Actuarial Lurker

Mad Men is on the same level as Breaking Bad and BCS without the "action". To pull that off with a period drama is insane....that's why I voted for this and The Sopranos

Inkpendude

Stranger things have happened

D

Mad Men is so good. I look forward to seeing them react to it at some point.

VampMa

Let's get some science fiction in there ya'll! Write in for the Stargate's ... all of them... or Babylon 5 (a much more manageable workload at 5 seasons) :P

Sean K.

Sopranos and Stranger Things <3

Da Big Appa

As a walking dead fan I would say stop watching after season 1. So in that case it would be a waste of time for them to watch it on here when they could be doing another better show and watch more seasons.

Adam

Lost is a great show, but it would take them years to complete it. Maybe it can take the Star Trek slot once they finish that.

Adam

I voted for it, but to be fair, this poll is stacked with high quality shows.

adv97

Get used to it mate, feels like that’s been the trend from the polls off late unfortunately.

N.A. Vreugdenhil

I agree, it's definitely not necessary to watch back to back.

adv97

Stranger things is well past it’s sell by date unfortunately

N.A. Vreugdenhil

Season 4 is actually much better than season 2 or 3. I'm pumped for the new season coming up

Da Big Appa

I would rather have them start a show they will make it all the way though. I am still sad they did not finish The Expanse. I loved that show.

Adam

Fargo could be on the short poll because each season is a one-off and only seasons 1, 2, and 5 are worth watching. Also, Mare of Easttown would be great for the short poll. 7 episode HBO mini-series with Kate Winslet

Erinn Daum

Seconding Babylon Five!

Adam

I guess it is 4 seasons, but like I said, each episode is only a half hour and there are no more than 8 episodes per season.

MasterElodin

To be honest as much as I want to watch sopranos and I only heard great things about it, from what I heard it sounds similar to breaking bad/BCS at least somewhat. So I understand that people want something completely different. And don't get me wrong I loved BB/BCS but between those two we had crime and drama shows for a pretty long time now so I can see people voting for mystery or horror or sci-fi.

sarCC

As long as TNG is on the schedule, I'll be fine even if a show I don't want to watch is chosen. (Luckily, Stranger Things is a blast and seems to be leading.)

noura s

it looks like sopranos is loosing it to stranger things :( i know u guys have a schedule already, but is it possible to watch both of these shows at the same time? considering the high demand for both

Daniel Kapity

Hey you two I would love to recommend either the librarians or Grimm both shows are fantastic and have a magical or Supernatural element to them Grimm has more of a supernatural / superhuman element in the confines of a cop Style Show and librarians is a light-hearted funny and sometimes goofy take on Magic I strongly recommend those shows I personally love them very much and I would love to share the journey which is both of them with you if possible and if you do choose to do either especially if it's grim need to go in as blind as possible because that will make it more interesting

Jay Perry

on the short series, I want Rin

DonkyDave

Alien: Earth would be very poggers

MasterElodin

Just watch the first maybe 4 seasons then? I completely agree TWD lost me after a couple seasons back when I first watched it and I have no idea about the shit show I heard the later seasons apparently are. But the first few are really good and definitely worth watching. Same thing applies to a lot of shows. Supernatural for example. Only the first 5 seasons were originally planned I think and the 10(???) after that were added on the fly and not part of the original storyline. But the first 5 are really good so still worth watching at some point. There are lots of shows like this. But I understand that it can be weird to watch them on the channel because it would be hard to decide when to stop without upsetting at least some people so maybe it's better to keep the hands off them I don't know..

Reid Mclellan

Probably not, but the fact that it's 2nd place makes me happy nonetheless, It seems to be making the rounds through the reaction community. Hopefully by the time they're done with stranger things it'll be first place, was honestly worried it would be out voted by succession

Jefferson Smith

They'll enjoy the shit out of it. Hopefully soon...

Brien

Two Juggernauts in a 15 round fight. Sopranos with a left, Stranger Things coming back with a hard right. Haha

MasterElodin

They already are alternating with a short show though. If you add another long show there would be two seasons of a short show and one of a long show before you get to see the other long show again. Unless they drop the short one instead I guess

Brien

Has Simone only seen season 1 of Stranger Things or every season? Asking for a friend.

Owenrock1221

Has Simone watched all of Stranger THings? The reactions are much better when neither have seen it, if shes only watched Season 1 and the rest of it is new Id vote that, but if she has already seen the whole series then my vote goes to Sopranos

RLYtoxic

Was hoping Ash vs Evil Dead would make the list.

Angzarr

I'd prefer B5 but would like to see the SG's too. But, I think either plus Trek is probably too much SciFi on their schedule at once.

PrimitiveCruisingArtist

Oh, my, you haven't seen Stranger Things? I don't know why, but I assumed you had. Oh my, oh my... Get ready for a Breaking Bad-level experience. (Different vibe, though.)

Angzarr

Farscape would be great

Jordan Steele

Not in the poll but I’d love to see you react to The Good Place.

Joe

Ah still no Black Sails? Booo!

Angzarr

"Indeed"

StonyD

...where is the "More Star Trek" button? Hmmm. 😜

Daniel Jones

I think the best longer show you could possibly watch is The Twilight Zone from 1959!

Keen7981

Highly recommend Sons of Anarchy at some point. Not everyone's cup of tea, but very good nonetheless

August21

Succession should be higher tbh

adv97

Stranger things lol?

E G

So many good shows in this poll

Brien

'Hello'. 'What, you don't recognize me?' 'We used to play catch.'

lalaland

yes, please disregard what thousands of paying customers voted for because ShadowStunts didnt personally enjoy it. his opinion is the only thing that matters cause hes the main character. and forget letting yourselves decide whether you like it or not, he said its bad so just go with what he said. 🤡

Timothy

Disappointing list tbh

Stephanie Bedworth

I enjoyed it through season 3, and then it took some effort for me to get through season 4. After that, it seemed like they just made season 4 over and over again. I finally put myself out of my misery and stopped watching.

Angzarr

Much better options, for sure.

Jacob King

Fringe is really good. It’s probably the last great show of that type (22 episode season, monster of the week, network tv). It also manages to build up the central mystery into something big and satisfying that changes the status quo of the characters, something comparable shows like Lost and The X Files struggled with.

Stephanie Bedworth

People have different tastes. I tried watching The Sopranos on a few occasions and just couldn't get into it at all. Doesn't mean it's a bad show, it just wasn't for me. Mad Men is an incredible show but it's second to last in the votes here.

Christian Valdersnes

What is wrong with giving your own opinion on a show? Aren't there shows you don't like and have opinions on? And where did i he say that " his opinion is the only thing that matters" ?

CD

Yes, by all means…heed what Stanis says instead. ShadowStunts expressing HIS opinion…is sooo much different, than EVERY other one of us expressing our opinion…by comment or vote; because his touches a nerve of Stanis’ 🤣🙄🤡 Don’t worry George; no need for a warning. I don’t plan to engage in any back and forth. The hypocrisy is just hysterical.

Scott Cressotti

Eureka, Warehouse 13, Monk, Grimm, Burn notice

Jacob King

Twin Peaks would get my vote. It’s the TV show every subsequent TV show wants to be. Also, Twin Peaks (2017) is as close to perfect as it’s possible for TV to get.

CD

^THIS

Christian Valdersnes

i would love Twin Peaks myself, but in this lot i would go for sopranos.

Steven Cavanagh

You should check out Amazons Secret Level, 15 episodes, all based on Video Games, the first Episodes D&D.

Jordan Barnes

Stranger Things’ reputation is well-founded. At the time it came out there was absolutely nothing for YEARS that had good writing, good acting, good setting, etc. and then this random show comes out of nowhere with all of that and so much more.

Tom Hess

Kind of disappointed that there aren't any 90's shows on the poll. No Farscape, no Stargate SG-1, no X-Files. I bet you'd have a blast with some of those. And no, I'm not saying that JUST because it was my favourite era for TV shows...

Zectorman

Stranger things kinda just falls off for me, but Sopranos is Kino throughout

Jacob King

Noah Hawley’s new show Alien: Earth is doing Fargo but for Ridley Scott instead of the Coens.

CD

So…I thought I got CENSORED; and who knows…maybe I did or will. I was trying to respond to George’s PUBLIC banning (and shaming) of Chris D. Turns out…the structure is that a reply to “George”…goes against the parent post, which of course has been deleted. What I said was…I thought this wasn’t the airport? You know…no need to announce departures. Well…what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. I think you COULD have, and SHOULD have…moved him along in PRIVATE.

DonkyDave

I hope you get the help you need

Tony Rogers

No complaints about the list. Some great picks. Just wanted to make the suggestion of one day watching What We Do in the Shadows the series, because I think you would both love it.

Jacob King

Jim Caviezel apparently reached Marlon Brando levels of insanity on set. It could have been really interesting to put that on screen. The burden on knowing the future causing reality to crumble…

Actuarial Lurker

George- when you do the next iteration of this poll please consider adding Fringe and Boardwalk Empire. The first is sci-fi and quirky the latter is about Prohibition Era gangsters and has top tier writing and acting. I would venture that doing one or more of Mad Men, The Sopranos, Fringe and Boardwalk Empire would draw A LOT of new fans to the channel while also pleasing your "current fan base".

Jacob King

I’d be happy with Farscape but it’s completely unavailable in my country (which is also the country where it was made) because digital streaming rights are a mess.

Bruce Woodcock

There are many many reactions to Stranger Things out there if you're interested in that. There are not nearly as many reactions to Mad Men or Succession.

KnittingHaven

Seriously, I think they would really enjoy it. I'm loving Resurrection.

adv97

Even though the democracy of involving their fans is great the flaw is always going to be however bad a show is the mainstream one will always win.

Khan1001

THE SOPRANOS IS ARGUABLY THE GREATEST SHOW OF ALL TIME OR IN THE TOP 3 EASILY. SIMONE HAS ALREADY SEEN STRANGER THINGS AND GEORGE JUST HASN'T SEEN SEASON 1, I'M SORRY BUT RESPECTFULLY, THAT DEFEATS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF WATCHING PEOPLES REACTIONS WHEN THEY HAVE ALREADY SEEN IT.

Ginger

Aww maaan, I wish The Bear was higher up. Oh well, maybe one day. Walking Dead is also a good show for 5 seasons. Still holding out hope for Dark as well. ^^

Ginger

Always wanted to watch The Sopranos and never got around to it. This channel is also a great way to catch up on these shows (like for me those are The Wire, Better Call Saul, Ted Lasso, Severance, Firefly and The Wire.)

lalaland

- first of all, why are you yelling. - second of all, take a deep breath. its a poll, not the last poll. - thirdly, i think in your tantrum youve misunderstood what "season 1 only new to George" means. its not george only hasnt seen season 1, its that he hasnt seen the show at all, and simone has seen season 1 but not the rest. so s1 will be new to just one of them, then its all new to both of them after that. - no one said sopranos isnt the greatest show, just cause something else is winning.

Alex Ch

Apologies to Hugo and Xavier if I was dismissive of your opinions in the way I originally phrased things.

Adam

I'm referring to The Sopranos, The Bear, Fargo, Succession, Mad Men and Barry. Stranger Things is fun and nostalgic, but not on the same level of quality as these.

Emily G

Kinda crushed that Mad Men is not gonna win 😭

Emily G

I love Mad Men, I’m so sad that it’s doing so poorly.

Khan1001

I'm not yelling or having a tantrum, that's my opinion which I'm entitled to, YOU don't get to tell me what to do or how to feel, as for the misunderstanding as to what seasons they have or have not watched, perhaps George & Simone can clarify please.

lalaland

all cap = yelling. first day on the internet? secondly, at what point did i 'tell you what to do', or that youre not entitled to an opinion? you had a bit of a tantrum and then got defensive. thats all that happened. lastly, "only new to" is something theyve done for literal years. suddenly now its unclear to you?

Epileptic Trees

I KNOW MAD MEN WILL NOT WIN THIS, BUT I'M STILL RIDING HARD IN THE HOPES THAT SOME DAY IT WILL

Jay S

Hope Black Sails is on the next poll!

Cinebinge

hello Khan1001, here is the clarification. stanis is correct, only season 1 is new to just one of us. the rest is new to both of us. and while we understand a poll may not go the direction you wish, it is important to remember that a poll does not determine what show to not watch, but rather what to watch later. so please help keep the peace of this community and keep things civil. thank you.

Emily G

Me too friend!

Michael H

Sopranos is the only choice

Khan1001

Thank you for clarifying, yes I will keep the peace.

Kurt Hockenbury

Venture Brothers should be added to your radar.

Inkpendude

on top of that, season 1 came out a long time ago, no way she remebers everything (I don't). same thing has happend with movies and the reactions have been just fine.

D

Fellow Sopranos voters, if it doesn’t win we will just have to keep waiting. Like patience on a monument.

Tom Hess

Funny, what are the odds that a user with the initials "CD" would take issue with the way "Chris D" was banned? Jokes aside: public shaming is an efficient dissuasion tactic. You do it for the same reason that hangings and beheadings used to be public events. You do it so everyone can know what will and will not be tolerated in this space. Harsh but fair.

Big Gee

Come on Soprono’s!!!

Da Big Appa

I went all the way to season 9 of The Walking Dead before I had to quit it.

lalaland

agreed Tom, not to mention it also lets the community know that theyre on it, that theyre observing and handling shit as they come.

Roy A

any chance of doing the Marvel shows (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Punisher, Iron Fist, Defenders)?

SANAMDEEP

i grew up with horrible histories, Ghosts is a really clever comedy i can back this up

Happy Hanukkah

I know that binging is the new normal, but not even pausing between seasons?

Haye Zeus

No I understand the popularity. The public at large tends to have mid to horrible tastes(jk). And there’s regency bias. I’m just shocked that people are still excited about Stranger Thing cause I honestly don’t think it will have a long of a cultural impact as The Sopranos. Cause whenever people talk about is usually when the new season premieres and everyone is shocked how the kids look like middle age people now. But besides those times I don’t hear anyone talking about it. Meanwhile people are still arguing about that Sopranos ending till this day. So idk. I’m just surprised by it more than anything. I’m not upset. I think the first season is still good and I know George and Simone will enjoy it. If this was a fair world tho, I think everyone would be excited for Mad Men. I like that show way more than The Sopranos tbh. But I know that it has gone down in cultural relevance over the years and I think that’s bullshit.

Happy Hanukkah

Babylon 5 all the way. (I acknowledge Angzarr's point and reinforce it: How could they possibly enjoy ST once they've been exposed to B5?! :-P )

WastedPo

I have an unconventional TV show suggestion (unconventional because it's probably not in line with the demographic of most reaction channels): "Only Murders in the Building" It's a relatively popular show, so it might do okay for your YT algorithm. I also think it's a shame that none of the bigger reactors have done this series. (Again, it's pretty different from the typical "Band of Brothers" or "Game of Thrones" series that all reactors seem legally obligated to cover.)

maikeru

why is dexter not on the poll 😥

Zhivko Yakimov

I also love Fringe, but I’ll be the first to admit that it was uneven throughout its run. Season 1 was shaky, and only got better towards the end. Season 2 started to find its ground, and in its second half was one of the best things on TV at the time. Season 3 was absolutely peak TV, no words to describe it (also, Andre Royo!, aka Bubbles from The Wire). Season 4 was … weird, with some really great episodes, but a bit off in overall feel. Season 5 was a very solid wrap, but it could have been better. Still, a great series, though I think it would have been immensely better if it had shorter seasons, like 12-13 episodes per season, rather than 20-22.

Jasbro

Would love to rewatch Stranger Things with you guys to get ready for the final season in November.

Lachlan Caldwell

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: The Magicians, 5 seasons, 13 episodes per season. There's a heist episode in season 2, a musical episode in season 3, and one episode in season 5 is a heist and a musical episode combined! Also the writing is top notch and the characters are iconic (Queen Margo; 'nuff said).

Zhivko Yakimov

No, The Sopranos and Breaking Bad are quite different, both in terms of protagonists and tone. The common thing is that they are both dramas that deal with crime, but that is pretty much it.

Zhivko Yakimov

I watched only the first five seasons of Supernatural, i.e. the story that Eric Kripke originally intended, so I think I am fine. I mean, after the Season 5 antagonist, it is a bit much to claim that there is something even worse, even for a show like this …

Florian

Woohoo, lets go Stranger Things ❤️

BoredLittleLady

Season 4 is the “Freddy Kruger inspired” season.

Adam Vialpando

I got into The Sopranos last year finally and I definitely want it to win. Not only because it is an amazing show that, along with The Wire, paved the way for drama television as we know it today and is the reason half these shows got greenlit in the first place. But because 3 reactors I follow all recently started The Sopranos within a few weeks of each other. And I just think it will be funny to add a 4th to it.

Nuclear Reactions

Man I really wish the Sopranos would catch up in votes!!

Daniasaurus

Stranger things is one show I never want to rewatch again. Lol lots of good moments but as a show overall it sucks. At least that’s my opinion on it. Very uneven in quality, storytelling and acting. Been wanting Legend of Korra though! That’s another that’s kinda shaky at times (most of season 2 isn’t that great) but overall I think the show is fantastic! I love it.

BellaBlue

I love ST...but good thing you simply don't have to watch...easy peasy

Jose Robles

Great shows!, but why Korra is a long show? I would suggest to do Korra between seasons of the poll winner, If I remember correctly each season is just 12 episode, you could do some similar to Andor, 4 or 3 episodes per week and finnish each season quick. My vote is for Stranger Things, The Sopranos or The Bear, and Korra as a show between seasons.

BellaBlue

peeps get so crazy on this thing.... I've hardly watched along w any of their series choices cuz didn't want to..but didn't post a whole tantrum over it..haha... hope ST holds on... peeps really need to touch grass

BellaBlue

How good or bad a show is, is a matter of taste and opinion even though I know the rationale behind that is hard for many to comprehend

BellaBlue

oh well....good thing you can choose not to watch along..S4 was best season of ST imo...but see how this works...everyone can have a different opinion! BTW who is KINO?

Epileptic Trees

I hope so too but mostly because Sopranos and Mad Men have overlapping fanbases and I'm hoping we can ride the Sopranos momentum into a Mad Men win

James M

Early seasons of Walking Dead were really good. Unfortunately I don't think it held up well after a few seasons. Did you see "Goliath"? I think that was pretty good mostly because Billy Bob Thornton is quite an actor. I don't watch a lot of TV though. I've seen none of these other shows and don't have any interest in them. I'll have to stick to the movie stuff.

BellaBlue

peeps just love to crap on ST now because of the extra long time between seasons...which is def annoying..and unfortunately a function of how steaming works these days...but the reality is the show is still excellent...S4 was my fav in fact...(all opinions valid on best Season)...but it has become popular to crap on it just because...so many peeps are just sheep tbh

Tom Hess

I think it holds up pretty well. The HD 16x9 remaster is excellent, too. You should watch the first two episodes of season 1. X-Files isn't a slow starter. It was good right from the start. If you're not hooked by episode 2, you'll know it's not for you.

Stephanie Bedworth

I thought the entire show was consistently good. If you weren’t into it after seven episodes then it’s probably not a show that’s going to appeal to you at all. Nothing wrong with that, of course.

Zectorman

I really enjoyed season 4! For sure the strongest after season 1. Of course you can have a different opinion, all I did was voice mine. Kino is just an internet slang for "high quality" in regards to cinema/TV

Relic

Glad to see Sopranos on the poll, and Barry.

D

Who’s that speaking here?

Random Nevermind

Suggestion for the long show. 'The Crown'. Add it to the next poll please.

Cinebinge

Hi Davy Jones. while we understand you may disagree with the opinions of others in the matter of taste and preference in regards to TV shows. We must ask you to keep things respectful and do not descent into personal jabs, especially by replying to every comment made by those you do not agree with. Help us keep the peace and keep things civil, we are all adults here and it is important to remember that beyond a name on a screen is an actual person. So lets all behave like civil adults.

Roberto Abitua

It's never better than those first 5. I still enjoyed it through its run, but definitely not always the same quality and for sure there's a lot of repetitive story beats.

soup3097

Stranger things beating Sopranos is why I can't do this anymore

Eugene Reilly

Would love to see Shoresy added to a poll.

Ginger

I think it's an age demographic thing. No judgement, that's just what it might be.

Tenn Seven

That show is really fun.

lalaland

theyve done a poll on the average demographic, probably to stop this blame. https://www.patreon.com/posts/what-is-patron-104593101 people just like different things, its not that complicated, and the world isnt going to end cause one tv show is happening sooner than another. i mean seriously, if i didnt know any better i would assume Sopranos is a kids tv show base on some of the overly dramatic tantrums happening in the comments.

lalaland

if i didnt know any better i would assume Sopranos is a kids tv show base on some of the overly dramatic tantrums happening in the comments. your show not getting the most vote is not people saying its a bad show. your show not getting the most vote does not mean the show is forever lost. your show not getting the most vote is not some personal attack on you. your show not getting the most vote is not a sign of the end times. your show not getting the most vote does not mean everyone else is wrong.

Ciarra Jade

I chose both the sopranos and stranger things . I’m happy if either wins . But I do hope sopranos wins , I’ve only seen a few episodes

Hugo Bovenius

No not at all. Just fun to have different opinions

Roy A

A suggestion for a short show: Freaks and Geeks. It aired for 1 season between 1999 and 2000 and has 18 episodes. It stars Linda Cardellini, John Francis Daley, James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, and Busy Philipps. Among others.

Alex Hyrule

I would vote for Mad Men but kinda just sounds like Prime Ministers Questions

Stephanie Bedworth

I think I saw it explained under another comment that she's only seen the first season.

Steve kephart

You guys should have added Dexter to the list as well. It should do well for you guys as the current re-boot is really popular right now and for good reason. Personally, I preferred Dexter to Breaking Bad as you can root for the main character despite his massive flaw.

Steve kephart

That's what I was wondering. It is the perfect time for it and they would love the show.

Steve kephart

I would be on board with that one. It has a TON of talent.

adv97

I guess you can’t blame people for getting into a tiz if this is the only thing they look forward to in their entire week

Max Carter

Shocked that Succession isn't higher. Stranger THings is ok but is so wildly inconsistent compared to The Sopranos, Succession, Mad Men etc I really am shocked Stranger Things is so popular it's kinda average honestly

Mike Milligan

Fargo is maybe the most criminally underrated tv show of the 2000's imo. I put it on par with Breaking Bad, at least the first 2 seasons.

Akila Thiththawellage

I knew Fargo won't get it's fare shake here but season 1 and 2 are peak television. Great actors, characters, fun stories and amazing lines. One day hopefully it makes it to the top of a poll, probably never will😔

Cosmic Slice

Long time lurker, first time Patreon-er. Would *love* to see you guys do The West Wing or Once Upon a Time for long season tv shows!

funky weapon

I picked a few shows. if I had to pick Stranger Things or Sopranos, I'm picking Stranger Things. why? I like horror and the first season is an excellent miniseries. Sopranos and its subject matter just doesn't interest me at all.

funky weapon

there are some stinkers in the early seasons but no worse than Star Trek TNG. It falls off a cliff around Season 6 or 7, but that was true back in the 90s as well. the revival seasons (10 and 11 I think), were a ton of fun if you liked the show.

Adam

I second The West Wing. That political world is much more preferable than the real one, especially these days.

Cosmic Slice

I love to live in denial and wish the US had those people in government.

Klaven

Damn, Don't lose sight of Mad Men. It is so unbelievably underrated.

Ben from Tenn

Actively setting up bots to bump Sopranos 😏 Lol no way I have time to take that journey again. Cinebinge + Sopranos would be dope tho, Sopranos is the goat

Michael

For a future long show, my all-time favorite is the X-Files

DM DC

I would like to see Burn Notice on a list someday. Great show.

G T

Damn glad to see Fargo on the poll. been pushing it since 2022.. Shame it can't win, some of the picks have major nostalgia value for a lot of people.

Daniasaurus

I didn’t mean to come across any kind of way. Just stating my opinion. Can’t I say I don’t like something and it not be a big deal? I’d be interested to watch again to see if I like it better but I didn’t think saying I simply didn’t like something was a big deal. Apologies.

Daniasaurus

I was being civil in my comment I believe. If you don’t want me here that’s fine but I didn’t think I said anything out of line or whatever. Just stating an opinion. Sorry if it came off rude or something but I didn’t mean that to be it. I love movies and media and I like being able to say something sucked without other people thinking I’m dogging on them. I’m not. I love everyone here and respect everyone here. Thank yall. ♥️

Brandon

It's one of the best rated shows of all time. It just doesn't appeal to a wide reactor audience. 😥

G T

Agree completely. Honestly, I think the Fargo name might hurt it - before I watched, I assumed it was just a cheap knock-off of the movie. Couldn’t have been more wrong. This is top-tier writing no caveats. I've heard only season 4 is weak and season 5 was a return to form.

ChrisJayR

Would love them to do X-Files one day. Not expecting it soon though. I bet they would recognize lots of places because a lot of it was filmed in Vancouver.

lalaland

Daniasaurus, they werent replying to you. the comment literally begins with who theyre addressing.

Brandon

I think the whole series is peak. Season 5 especially was top knotch after season 4 kind of went "out there" a bit.

Brandon

Stranger Things gets so aggressively mid after season 1, it's almost hard to believe. I'm still hoping for a last minute Sopranos victory. 😥

G T

Agree about Stranger Things, but it was a watercooler show, everyone was talking about it when it came out, it was Netflix' early big hits, it has name recognition. If you haven't seen Fargo give it a watch, I went in expecting just another crime drama and ended up watching one of the most gripping, well structured seasons of TV I’ve seen. I'd say give it a watch because it's unlikely to win a poll anytime soon. Then come back and vote for it on the next poll lol

Collinson

Man we're never getting Sopranos are we :( Always the bridesmaid never the bride. No chance of "Two" long TV shows?... I just want to see a Soprano's reaction before I retire lol.

G T

I think part of why people defend The Sopranos so passionately is the time they first watched it. For a lot of viewers, it was their first taste of prestige TV, and they experienced it as it aired, week by week. That creates a strong attachment beyond just the show’s quality. I never caught it at the time - by the time I considered it, the pacing and late-90s style felt a bit dated - so it’s stayed on my “eventually” list. Cinebinge might finally change that… though I’d still rather see Fargo get the nod.

Max Carter

Oh I love Fargo, it's brilliant

Max Carter

Yeah season 1 is pretty good but it's not great after that

Jpsynergy

Honestly lost all interest in Stranger Things at this point. Maybe seeing it with G&S will get me somewhat excited about the new season. Don't get me wrong I like the show, but the wait between seasons is so long at this point. So I'm going for Sopranos.. Good luck all, let's see if we can get Sopranos over the finish line. If not there's always next time, and at least we'll still have Star Trek!

G T

If we’re talking pure quality writing, tight pacing, and an intricate plot, I’d put Fargo at the top. But I’ll admit, I might just be stirring the pot a little.

max

I cant lie.... Stranger things winning is so dead. When Sopranos, Barry and Fargo are on there

Thank yall. ♥️ (also I never said anything bad or against anyone here. I just said what I think that is all.)

Jpsynergy

It's crazy right. But it's got a lot of fans.

Daniasaurus

Oops my bad. For some reason I didn’t catch that and thought it was for me. I feel really stupid now. But thank you for pointing this out to me! I was very confused why my original comment would be taken any kind of bad way.

max

I mean its a really good show don't get me wrong. But the rest of this list is just surreal to beat.

Relic

Suggest Justified for a future series poll. "He pulled first." If you liked Walton Goggins as The Ghoul in Fallout, you'll love him as Boyd Crowder.

G P

Hoping more Sopranos fans come out of the woodwork, Stranger Things was good but nowhere nearly as good as a lot of others on this list.

Charles Clover

Nearly the same runtime as Ted Lasso.

Thomas Hilbert

...you...haven't...seen...Stranger...Things, yet? Oh my god I NEED you to watch this!

Tay Schumaker

I'm 43, I voted for Barry, Stranger Things, and The Bear. I have no desire to see them react to The Sopranos. But I am not going to throw a fit if it wins either

Donna Castellano

I love ST and I still voted for one of my Top Ten shows, The Sopranos.

Flora Smith

NOWHERE near as good obviously, also ST is long series where it isn’t new to both of them….okay for a random movie, but those reactions are never as good IMO

Cyber

theyre gonna like sopranos most on this list

temsik28

Sopranos! New for both! Get yourself a gun! Best show.

Tall Paul

just when I thought I was in, they pulled me back out

zak

Stranger Things is such an odd outlier in this list, with the exception of s2 I've loved watching it, but something about taking almost a decade to make 34 episodes has really dulled my excitement for it, I could actually skip the final season and not feel fomo. That being said maybe seeing George and Simone go through it would rekindle my excitement.

droodly

Eh, Simone only saw one season and I'm guessing she won't remember it. It'll be fine.

lalaland

3 movies a week and 2 other shows on this channel. nothing is of interest to you? damn, thats crazy.

Khan1001

Same, I wish they would scrap the poll and just pick themselves, this is really frustrating, Sopranos loosing to Stranger Things, its a crime

Khan1001

Same, I enjoy Stranger Things but they took too long in between seasons and its not even in the same league as Sopranos, George & Simone recently said in one of their recent reactions that they miss 'The Wire', well Sopranos is from the same family, HBO and its on the same level if not better.

Tall Paul

its a reference Stanis

Kelly Pickard

I hope Barry gets a watch at some point. It's such an odd, funny, intense show.

Boris Kopp

4 8 15 16 23 42 One can only hope for a LOST watch along. For this poll I'd be down for Sopranos and Stranger Things.

Daniel Bjork

Succession and Sopranos are the best shows on this list and its not close. Multiple other channels doing sopranos right now. Do succession

Pat. N

I feel like the schedule should be changed to have 3 TV shows and two movies at this point (maybe 4 episodes of the long show and 2 of the short?). Simone and George have already reacted to most if not all of the best movies, and will eventually run out of good movies to watch. But there are SOOO many great shows still to be seen, and they take longer to get through. I would like to see most of these reacted too eventually, but at this rate it will be years to see them all.

micah

i think fargo should be on the short shows list as its an anthology show..the first two seasons connect but that's it. would love to see it what y'all think of it it is EXCELLENT. but as far as this poll goes i hope the sopranos has a late push

Pat. N

This is unfortunately the case for me also since the end of BCS, I'd be interested in any of this poll's frontrunners though :)

Khan1001

I agree, it takes the fun right out of it when they have already seen the thing, but I was told, Simone has watched season 1 only, George hasn't seen any of it, I misunderstood this earlier and some crazy people came after me, I guess its easy for SOME people to be Aholes when they are sitting in front of their computers or phones, no restraint.

CD

Likely not going to happen; but a good suggestion IMO. Part of the reason, for ALL this debate...is the fact that, it's what...a year...until another "long" show?

Donna Castellano

It'd be awesome if they checked out Oz at some point too. Was surprised at how much I love that show.

CD

Yeah. I voted for The Sopranos, The Bear, and Barry. In hindsight...and I'm not sorry I voted for it; I think "empirically" it's the "best" show. But...I actually think Barry probably makes for the best REACTION; from G+S anyway.

CD

Or Shane Vendrell?

CD

I've never even sought out a reactor, who does TWW. It's too near and dear to my heart.

Cosmic Slice

Watch This with Joe and Kevin are closing the series out right now. It's just *so* good that I never get tired of it. Perfect tv....

CD

@mavs4177 Of course...all opinion is subjective. We've all got our favorites, and that can't be argued. But there IS also an empirical case to be made; and if someone wanted more than just "because I think so"...well, there's a LOT of "documentation", The Sopranos is among a literal handful, of the best shows. Personally...I'm starting not to care; in fact...this nonsense is making me regret, PAYING for ANY of this. But...if you find me ONE thing, that ranks ST higher...I'll eat my words.

Joe

wow

G P

Oz is up there with The Wire and Sopranos as far as I'm concerned

Adam

I just started a re-watch of Deadwood earlier this week. Great show

BigM

It saddens me that Banshee is still not making it's way to any reactors.

ScotchBeard78

Six Feet Under & The X-Files, please! :)

John Collins

Please check out American Vandal ! It's a fun, short and easy to watch mockumentary. Very unique and funny!

fockendope

I would love to see Marvelous Mrs. Maisel included in one of these polls. Just to see if has any traction at all with the other patrons. I personally love this show and believe Simone and George would as well. Cheers.

Ben Stevens

it does get a little difficult around the entrance of Agent Doggett

Its_Apollo

The Chicagoan in me has to vote for The Bear tbh

michael murray

@pat. N - lol c'mon man. Disclaimer and all about opinions, but saying they've watched "most if not all of the best movies, and will eventually run out of good movies to watch" is insane.

Matthew Langley

You would love The Magicians! Basically Harry Potter but in college meets Narnia and a lot of dark humor.

michael murray

@Alex Ch - i saw and liked your comment before the edit, just to say i don't think it was harsh and i understood your point (and agree). It seems like the replies misunderstood that you were worried that G&S would find spoilers, but you were actually saying you couldn't explain your point without mentioning spoilers.

Jack

It’d be long but I wonder if Stargate SG-1 might make the cut one day

Donna Castellano

I mainly checked it out once I found out some of the same people behind Homicide: Life on the Street - my all time favorite show - were involved with it. My dad watched it when it first aired. I'd come into the living room when he was watching it and I was like WTF are you watching?? After he died in 2002, I decided to give it a look because of the Homicide thing and I really loved it. I know I'm in a minority but Said and McManus are my favorite characters.

AVATAR-X

Sci-Fi Babylon 5 [Space Opera] Stargate SG-1 [Military, Action-Adventure] Sitcoms The Good Place [Philisophical] Brooklyn Nine-Nine [Workplace, Police Station] Better Off Ted [Workplace, Satire, Tech Company] Scooby Gang Procedurals Leverage [Caper, Action-Comedy] The Librarians [Adventure, Fantasy] Warehouse 13 [Adventure, Mystery] Limitless [Sci-fi, Comedy-Drama]

Matt Cammalleri

God please not stranger things. lol Unsubbing for those weeks. lol

Darren Boyle

Would have preferred to maybe continue with some of the unfinished series before committing to another major length show seeing as we already have one running (st-tng). 1 punch, witcher, mando/bobba fett, true detective...

Darren Boyle

i dont think it held up at all once the zombies stopped being the main threat, was all downhill from there 🤷‍♂️

lalaland

you find nothing else of value from this channel? 3 movies, 2 other shows, none of those interest you?!

lalaland

they also just finished BCS and before that Breaking Bad. maybe ppl just want a break from gritty crime dramas.

lalaland

man youve been crying about everything for like a year now, threatening to leave but you never do. all ive ever seen you do is rear your head around poll time and shit on everyone else's joy.

lalaland

in past polls where stranger things didnt win, i dont recall a lot of tantrums about the show not winning, there were people sad about it. but none of the ST fans whined that someone elses show got to go first. meanwhile, the soporanos fans on here are mostly just shitting on other peoples joy. makes one think which show has a more mature audience, not just older.

Robinson vs. Parkinson's

The one that comes to my mind is The Expanse. Definitely needs another chance.

Adam Vialpando

Why don't you take your quotations book and shove it up your ass.

Nick Kessler

I have watched you guys for years at this point. You need to and will love Barry! It is also a fast watch. 4 seasons 8 episodes each about 30 to 40 minutes each but it still feels rich and full. It is Bill shaders masterpiece.

Saifu

Are you guys going to go back to shows like The Expanse and House of the Dragon?

Jimmy Olofsson

I didn't realize there was still hype for Stranger Things. I don't think I know anyone who is planning on watching the new season and I have several friends who did watch it initially (myself included)

Steve kephart

That one would be fun after TNG since the shows are somewhat similar.

Steve kephart

If they did they would definitely have to do Atlantis and Universe as well.

warcrimes

Coming from a zombie afficianado, pls dont waste your time with The Walking Dead but DO watch the pilot, it's a Frank Darabont-directed/written movie length production.

warcrimes

Any Supernatural fans? At least the first 5 seasons.

Jack

Indeed, especially Atlantis given that they ran concurrently

Orphan Crippler

100%, nearly 3 and a half years since season 4 was released, and it will be close to 4 years when season 5 finally drops, 4 years is long enough for most people to just not care anymore

Jack

Indeed

Truth

Tbh you dont give the other newer shows like The Bear and Succession a chance when you put them up against well known titans such as The Sopranos and Stranger Things. I personally think that newer shows should be on their own list and older established shows on theirs but that's just my opinion.

Mike W

Love supernatural, even when the quality dips I still think it's good

Vellu

Barry should be in the "short" show poll, it has 4 season but with half-length episodes it would take only two weeks per season.

Mike W

It's probably not practical but I would love to see you pick a show to react to in almost real time. Take a show that gets 1 episode a week and it's like we are watching together.

Vellu

You could always alternate between Stranger Things and Sopranos after each season. Both great but also very different shows.

Michael Johnson

Alternatively, some short show suggestions - The Night Of and Rubicon are both one season and really good, IMO

Mike G

Sad Succession will never win because it isn't as mainstream as some of these others. For real you both would love it (I think,) it's one of the best written shows ever made.

jmundt33a

Korra is a very pale echo of the original. I highly recommend skipping it. My autocorrect is being stupid today.

lalaland

basically a remaster of Goguryeo, theres also a terrible spin off called North Korea.

jmundt33a

Succession is as mainstream as it gets. Seemingly tougher to laugh at the Murdochs while lionizing Rupert than to observe ad execs or hedge fund bros.

Matrim

It might. It’s still popular, the new series is coming soon, and Simone is notoriously bad at remembering stuff she’s seen, so I think she’d be rediscovering stuff as they went.

Stewart Denew

I'm gonna throw a couple of suggestions out there for potential other long series; Babylon 5 Farscape Taskmaster

Mike G

No, it's not. In fact the two current leaders (Sopranos and Stranger Things) are considerably more popular/mainstream.

Jay Davis

I'm certain Babylon 5 was left off the poll due to a simple clerical error. Certain of it.

WastedPo

I hope you're joking. I was subscribed to another channel that had their polls compromised by bots, and it basically ruined everything.

China Andronicus

Shorter show recommendation: Black Sails. Going to keep tossing this one out there. It’s so damn good.

BubblyRainbows

Is that a short show? I thought it had like six seasons. Or maybe I'm thinking about something else.

China Andronicus

Four, ten episodes per season (though season one has eight). I think on this channel it qualifies? If not, recommended under long shows. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

jmundt33a

Farscape. Absolutely.

Chase Lonnergan

That must be it. There is no other viable reason.

Ginger

If you add up all the options that don't win and the result is more than the winner - all that means is that the winner didn't get more than 50% of all votes. It's still a valid result. Otherwise this would be an incredible high bar. Imagine if every election was invalid where the winner didn't win with a supermajority.

Jose Robles

Will be nice to see "Harvey" again ;)

Tall Paul

Although worth remembering this is a mechanism to placate the masses! I like the idea of an elimination bracket but probably more trouble than it is worth

Ben from Tenn

All I know about bots is how to spell it.

Matt

Ya we're never getting the sopranos on here lol. The stranger things fans are going to demand they watch bluey after this.

Cinebinge

hi Matt, we understand it can be frustrating to not get the show you personally want right away, but we do ask all our patrons to behave like civilized adults and treat eachother with basic respect, and to understand that everyone has different preferences and there is no need for this kind of insinuation. After all, we are all adults here capable of not requiring instant gratification all the time. So please, remember to keep things civil and there is no need to imply fans of another franchise are children.

Christian Valdersnes

Hey, the ones who voted for Korra, your not gonna win. Let's be real.. if you instead vote for sopranos, i will pay you... 10... well actually i can't afford to pay, i'm quite poor. but you will always be in my heart. for a while at least.

Stephanie Bedworth

As a 54 year old who voted for Stranger Things and Mad Men, I’m highly puzzled by this declaration.

Chris

I liked Banshee! But man, I don't think many people have seen it.

John W Foster

I love Babylon 5 and Farscape both, but I would totally love to see someone react to Taskmaster

lalaland

hey Matt, you should read the new post. its calling you and a few others out.

Paul Mix

Oh, I definitely second a Justified reaction! Stellar writing and cast, and one of those rare shows like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul that stayed consistently great through the end.

Ronny Boss

I second Black Sails. It's so flippin good.

Paul Mix

Perhaps G&S will react to Alien: Earth and we'll get our Noah Hawley fix that way.

sarCC

I've watched the entirety of The Sopranos and I prefer Stranger Things much more. I rank Mad Men above Sopranos because it is funnier and focuses much more on characters other than the sadsack, "woe is me, I have everything, I'm so sad" white male antihero.

Matthew Brown

Stranger things would be a great way to re watch especially sense the next season is coming don't get me wrong.I was expecting the sopranos too, but this is a good way to go :)

Ronny Boss

Deadwood and Rome would be some goods ones for the short Series. Looking forward to the day you fine folks get to those shows.

Pat. N

I think my point was that the balance may be off. On this trajectory, over a long enough time, they will run out of moves worth watching long before tv shows. There are definitely still many movies I look forward to seeing on here eventually, but there is more tv (in terms of watch time).

Todd

Deadwood is SO GOOD.

Brian Harris

Succession was a massive ratings hit that won multiple awards and was memed almost to death. How is it not mainstream?

Hanno

Mad Men might be the best show ever made. Damn shame that it's not popular

Brian Harris

There is no empirical case to be made on something like this. That attitude is a huge part of the problem, people forgetting that there is no such thing as scientific proof that one show is “better” than another, whatever better means.

Christian Valdersnes

Since you're not responding, i will explain my whole comment. i was talking to the korra fans to change their votes to what i want, and give them nothing in return as a joke. i thought it was funny, which incidental is also my middle name. That was what the f... it was about.

Beginning_of_a_new_era

I know it's a funny comment but still to tell people hey vote for mx show because yours isn't winning I even would pay you if I could. Common now the votes are not fair.

Emily G

I agree! I hope, hope, hope they watch it someday! I’d pay extra for it lol.

Brandon Meng

I picked four things here and they're all getting crushed 😭😭

Alex Ch

I think Rome is probably unlikely to win a poll because George has seen it many, many times. Still, it’s possible they decide to watch it on-channel someday.

Will Sofer

@John W Foster The channel “Neil Talks”, while currently on permanent hiatus, has dozens of Taskmaster reactions. He loved that show.

Emily G

It’s a little slow at the start (the first season) but I absolutely love it. I truly think it’s well written, and the characters are some of the best written characters in any show ever. The trauma that causes some characters to grow, and others to not grow as people at all. The antagonists that you want to punch. Main characters *cough* Don *cough* that are like a human tornado, that causes devastation for everyone in their lives. The interactions are fantastic. Also, historical events tied in. Not to mention the cinematography and aesthetics. (That’s my word salad.) You should (if you want) give it a second go, and try to make it into the second season where in my opinion it picks up.

Emily G

I’d also like to suggest at some point maybe watching Outlander. I don’t think there are many if any other reaction channels reacting to it. 🙌❤️

Alex Ch

I would personally argue for the current balance because when they do a movie I’m not excited about, I know there’s another one next week. A tv show is a lot more commitment. I would also say that over the last 100+ years, to me there have been a lot of movies worth watching. I don’t think we’ll run out too soon.

Will Sofer

From comments that they’ve made in the past, I’m fairly sure George has seen both Daredevil and Jessica Jones (at least the first seasons), and Simone has almost definitely seen the first season of Jessica Jones.

Alex Ch

Pretty sure they’ve seen Justified. Or at least one of them has. They’ve talked about it during Timothy Olyphant appearances.

Ian Tellam

The first season is still very good - and feels like it was always really designed as a one off that ended being way more popular than anyone anticipated. I think the shaky second season shows they didn’t really know where to take it, and it’s been inconsistent since then. It’s a bit of a True Detective in that regard.

Nick Kessler

I’m so pumped Barry is doing so well with these other juggernauts of television!

Ian Tellam

I agree. Surprised to see it here. It’s a perfect ‘between other shows’ snack.

rictus grin

for the next poll maybe something older like I Claudius amazing cast including a young Patrick Stewart (with hair), Brian Blessed, John Hurt and Derek Jacobi

Stephanie Bedworth

I kind of thought with the huge popularity of The Boys and Antony Starr, we'd see people discovering it and getting into it but it's never happened, unfortunately. A great show with some very memorable characters.

Alex Ch

Hmm, maybe we could get some momentum for the first Librarian movie at some point? Or do you just love the ensemble from the show (which I’m pretty sure I liked)?

Alex Ch

Speaking of Marlon Brando levels of insanity, I don’t think enough people have seen The Island of Dr. Moreau to want a reaction - but I’m recommending it (and the documentary about its making) to anyone wandering through the comments.

Alex Ch

I think Community would be a fun reaction.

Spence Lee

I never really look at these comments until there is an admonition to be nice, then I run to them

Spence Lee

Also- if you ever select The Man from UNCLE movie I will be sooooooooo nice to everyone here.

Alex Ch

Kinda surprised (in a non-negative way) to see that mentioned a few times here. I enjoy it and the old USA shows are relaxation rewatches for me. It’s interesting that it seems to have more of a fan base here than Monk or Psych or White Collar.

Jimmy Olofsson

I haven't seen it since it was new but I do remember liking S1 and I think the show in some ways suffered because of its popularity. For me at least, some of that 80s nostalgia really wore off after a few seasons and the charm sort of evaporated

Alex Ch

Honestly I feel like I’m in the post-melee scene of Anchorman. It really got out of hand and Brick killed a guy with a trident!

Will Sofer

I assume you mean “popular on this particular poll”, because it’s one of the most awarded and widely watched shows of all time. It’s not exactly “underrated”.

Matthew Hamby

That's how I was with Breaking Bad and The Sopranos. And I have friends who have both of those shows in their top 5-10 of all time. I, for whatever reason, can't get through the first season and I've tried multiple times. Sometimes, the characters just don't speak to you. My wife can't get through a single episode of Firefly and I still love her :)

WastedPo

Well, that's a relief!

jmundt33a

Outlander is awesome.

jmundt33a

I’d take a four year gap for a quality close instead of a one year gap for lazy, undercooked, worthless crap for an ending. I know whereof I speak.

jmundt33a

The Librarian movies are better than the series. Ditto the Limitless film vs. the show. Leverage is great, but be careful to get the episodes in the right order. I wish John Doe was available to stream. Excellent early Purcell.

jmundt33a

I think The Night Of and Night Manager are both quality.

jmundt33a

Still putting it out there can’t hurt.

Torstein Skurve

Can I please suggest Peacemaker? New season is coming up and I`m hyped!

Matt

I did and I completely agree! I wasn’t trying to insult anyone earlier, I was just making a prediction about the direction of the channel. There’s nothing wrong about liking stranger things or bluey, no judgement here!

Actuarial Lurker

It's the best drama that isn't "action-oriented" (i.e. violence) and MY favorite show. But that may be its downfall is its subtlety...you have to be immersed in US post-WWII history to get its cultural references

BellaBlue

def a fun watch and the fact that characters that are in SuperMan (which I'm guessing they'll watch fairly soon) will be in S2 of Peacemaker makes it a bit more relevant as well

Boop

PureGonzo

I would have preferred a couple of the other choices too, but there’s no denying that Stranger Things is still an amazing show.

michael denny

I would rather they react to The Americans but sadly that show would never win democratically

michael denny

I would like to see ranked choice voting be implemented instead of vote free for all it is now.

Roy A

Amazing? As someone who's watched every season and will watch the new season later this year, I wouldn't call the show amazing. But I agree. The way people react in the comments is embarrassing. I was hoping Sopranos would win, but I'll be watching the ST reaction when it drops.

G B

While I strongly prefer the sopranos, there is something magical about the first season of stranger things. The tone, score, cinematography and acting just blends together masterfully, certainly worthy of all its praise. While the 2nd and 3rd season were inferior to some, I think they hold up quite well, with season 4 returning the franchise to the upper echelon of television shows. Either choice is truly a treat.

SANAMDEEP

i rlly do suggest alternating thru sopranos and stranger things to keep ppl happy once u finish andor, but if that disrupts scheduling or something it makes sense not 2 do it

Ginger

That would be great (my favorite show of all time) but also a long term commitment line Star Trek.

Ginger

and Origins - eh... okay, maybe not that one ^^

Ginger

Thank you for the link. It wasn't my intention to blame anyone rather than offer an explanation but I see how my comment comes across that way. Especially with regards to the latest post, I'll do my best to avoid such generalized assumptions in the future. In fact, I've commented occasionally here that I LIKE when things get picked that don't interest me or wouldn't be my first choice, because it shows a wide variety of tastes and I'm always happy for the people who are excited about it. (I mean, they watched a 3 hour german movie with subtitles. I loved it but it's probably not for everyone. So why should everything be for me? ^^) I'll still say "Oh too bad my pick didn't win" - but for me that's way different from saying: "I hate everything and everyone who likes X or doesn't like Y is an idiot!" At the end of the day we're all here to have fun and watch movies together <3

Tall Paul

There isn't anything I'd rather see as a second show than Sopranos but I'm not sure. For someone who doesn't like Sopranos or Stranger Things that is a year without even a poll. I'd rather have one episode a week of six shows than three episodes a week of two shows but that would be quite a big change.

noura s

For short shows, i recommend The Leftovers it's a mystery-drama with excellent acting and dialogue.

jmundt33a

CC Decc—Falloff was present in the most recent season, but season 2?🙄

Kieran

You gotta bee ona your hat!

Kieran

You know, Quasimodo predicted all this.

Kieran

All this from a slice of gabagool?

Kieran

Cunnilingus and psychiatry brought us to this!

PIG

Yeah that first one was really great!

Maria Forsström

A tip for a show for some other time: Banshee. It is really good and only 4 seasons.

John Every

I know its not on this poll but please consider Lost as well!

Mastervodo

Great one-off spy movie as good as any James Bond flick.

Brien

I think we have a winner folks.

Beddoe

For a short show I'd like to suggest 'Happy!' (2017). It's adorable and disturbing, and only two seasons.

Huckleberry lobo

Would love to see you guys react to Dexter one day. 🙌🏼✨✨

Rash Bandicoot

I think Fargo could be reclassified as a short show. Each season is its own thing so you could do Fargo S1 as a short show?

Adam

Mindhunter would be a good candidate for the short show poll. Especially with October on the horizon

jay

yes yes yes. i just started this recently and came to recommend it. genuinely one of the greatest shows i’ve seen in so so so long

jay

i couldn’t tell you why, but i always told myself i will never watch stranger things. i guess maybe part of it is due to netflix starting to operate in purely bad faith and just not really caring for anyone in the cast, but i’ll definitely tune in to it with you guys. i was just thinking of starting the sopranos last week so i really hope to see that one pull through!

Phosphorus

Oh yes, the West Wing.

JJ Hennessey

The Leftovers is one of my all time favorites. Would love for that to be on the list.

Cosmic Slice

The politics we all wish we had...

BoredLittleLady

I’m really looking forward to rewatching Stranger Things with you guys!

Belucian79

I am so looking forward to see you react on the What we do in the shadows series!!! I know it's not posted as an option here but I am SURE you will thoroughly enjoy it!!!

Christian Valdersnes

Okey, Stranger things is gonna win. To any fellow Sopranos fans, i recommend a YT channel called "LM Reactions" they have just finished it. And they are good. Not as good as George and simone but still great. and i kinda look forward to watching ST. My gf loves stranger things... eh who am i kidding, if a had a girlfriend i would watch it with her. But it might be good, i've heard Sam Gamgee is in it. 8.6 on IMDB is solid.

PIG

Oh I remember LM! They did The Wire too. I stopped watching because the blond reactor seemed suspiciously on top of what happens next in the plot, but maybe she’s just really sharp. It looks like they are up to S2 for madmen too! I think I’m gonna give them another try.

PIG

They really are both great, with sopranos being great through all its seasons. I really recommend watching them along with the channel!

PIG

Amen. S1 and S2 later, full stop.

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

supernatural -15 seasons .. arrow - 8 seasons.... lost - 6 seasons... sons of anarchy .7 seasons... not sure if youve watched peaky blinders ... so many choices that didnt make the cut

Tall Paul

I recommend LM too. They are very smart and have watched a lot of TV. A different style of reaction with long intros and outros discussing the episode.

John_rd

How would it be 8 weeks for the walking dead? Only 6 episodes in season 1. Do two episodes at a time and it would be done in 3 weeks. Great show. Stranger things is on another level though.

N.A. Vreugdenhil

One day, Barry, one day... lol (though I think it should be on the short shows poll - there's only 8 episodes a season and they're only 30 minutes long) Excited for Stranger Things though!

Lachlan Caldwell

I'd forgotten about Warehouse 13. Yeah, it's kinda Scooby Doo-ish, but in a good way. Also: The Good Place ~ great show. Can't adequately sing it's praises without major spoilers. Bottom line: it's awesome.

Andy Goergen

I'd say it's not popular in that none of the big reaction channels have bothered with it. It's always kinda bugged me.

Gareth Hackney

Babylon 5 so you can compare to Star Trek as you watch it.

Jefferson Smith

Unfortunately that show has no conclusion. Still pisses me off, what an incredible show.

Hank Scorpio

You really only need to watch season 1 and 2 of Fargo tbh

Ben Schwartz

I'll always be a Trekkie, but Babylon 5 absolutely still holds up and even more so than Star Trek in some ways. The visual effects in B5 are still pretty awesome.

Wazz

Please consider how many other reactors have done stranger things. Please do something new.

Logan Nelson

With Season 5 dropping soon, I'd hope they get caught up with Stranger Things....

Liquor & Swords

I've never seen this movie requested, but you guys need to watch Great Expectations with Ethan Hawke!

erosennin

For future considerations I'd like to throw some suggestions in the hat: Deadwood - Great HBO show, 3 Seasons and a Movie The Sandman - 2 Seasons, finished Dirk Gently's Holistig Detective Agency - Unfortunately cancelled after 2 seasons but wonderfully bizarre and out there

Orphan Crippler

Who tf cares what other reactors have done? I personally don't watch other reactors because most of the time they exaggerate there reactions to make it more interesting, which is lame..

Cinebinge

Hi John. Simone has seen only season 1 not the rest. Hence the 'only season 1 new to George'

Wazz

The only thing lame is someone named orphan crippler who gets angry over a complete strangers opinion. I feel bad for you and your intolerance. It must be hard to live in a world you don't understand.

MarisoL

Hopefully you can do Mr.Robot one day. It's truly underrated.

lalaland

its been like a week since the 'dont be a dick' post S&G did. and both of you seem to already have forgotten about it.

Jay

I have finally joined for multiple reason but a big one is to hopefully, finally be heard by a YT reactor that The Shield (FX show not the marvel show) NEEDS to be watched. It is a multi award winning Police drama That was on towards the end of The Sopranos and it's last season aired when Breaking Bad started. It really did usher in the era of BASIC cable having HBO level dramas (ya know swearing, violence, nudity all that adulty stuff) Somehow it has just been....lost. Every once in a while there will be a retrospective review on YT that praises it but it seems it never gets talked about. Show had great ratings too. so it is a mystery. Maybe it's the big anti police sentiment in the US now (this show does NOT glorify police, like at all) It stars Micheal Chiklis from The Commish and Fantastic Four (thing) and Walton Goggins from most recently Fallout. It is an insane ride with one of the most AMAZING endings to a series ever. It is really hard for shows to stick the landing BB did it well, others......not so much. The Shield did it. I will try not to be annoying in suggesting but I have been screaming into the void at other youtubers for years to watch it. If you Like BB,The Wire and The Sopranos it is a must watch show.

Nathan Jasper

Agreed, The Shield was groundbreaking

CommanderBrownCoat

The Action movies poll reminded me to suggest Reacher! Amazon Prime, only three seasons but something to keep in mind for the future! Could also consider Daredevil, maybe roll into the Punisher?

Josh

Would absolutely love to watch you guys react to BoJack Horseman at some point in the future.

Duron Ball

WWDITS SERIES PLEASE 😊😊😊

timel0rd

Need to get The Expanse on the list!

Jordan Hume

The only thing with the Sopranos is that each season is better than the last and, while even S1 of Sopranos was ground breaking at the time, it is pretty rough when watching nowadays. I recently rewatched it with my son (was his first time) and it took a lot to get him to hang in there through the first season. Even the second season, while better, is still nowhere near as good as the last few seasons. It's COMPLETELY worth it, if not just to watch James Gandolfini's incredible performances, but just be warned.

Jordan Hume

They already watched season 1 and I think season 2. Honestly, it kind of goes downhill after season 3. Mainly, because of Naomi Nagata. She went from being a forgettable and boring character in the first few seasons to being a frustrating and idiotic annoyance that should have never made it that far. I kept hoping that Bobby would join the crew (even better if Naomi died!) but she never really did as of season 5 when I finally gave up on the show, mostly because of Naomi. I know they were following the book, but man, do i wish they could have written the characters better after season 3. Naomi was the worst, but a lot of characters started making really dumb and annoying decisions.

CJ Mullins

Hoping to see Dexter as an option soon

I get this opinion, seasons 1-2 and 3-5 are different. I prefer seasons 1-2 where the characters are built to 3-5 where there is more focus on plot. But good throughout. Polls on this channel tend to skew towards newer releases though so we might see a newer show winning next time.

I really think you guys should check out FRINGE. It's a damned good show and there is at east one character in it that I KNOW you guys would love

TWD was missing on that poll, too. I don't think they watched it in the past otherwise they would've recognised Merritt Wever from TWD when they watched Severance. It's not a big role but they would remember her, George at least. Or Steven Ogg when they watched BCS who is also in TWD.

Let's get Lost on one of these polls! One of the first shows that started big budget serialized television shows as a format. And also, a favorite of mine.

Guts

I second Dexter. It's a great one.

Dopesick (miniseries) with Michael Keaton

Beir Benkins

Omg, the HANNIBAL tv show too

Bill Haynes

Please consider the shows Reservation Dogs and Atlanta, both of which are on Hulu, for a watch. Both shows are phenomenal and have funny and heart-felt moments peppered throughout!
