I’d have to go thru all the past polls to remember & I don’t have the time right now. There was always something I was interested in and voted for, but it seemed I was in the minority. I will just say, for the last 16 movies, I was interested in 3. I completely understand that no one can be expected to be interested in everything. I just feel like my tastes more and more are not aligning with the majority of this group.

that sucks to hear! but i dont mean like what you voted for in polls. i mean what you personally want to see. cause the polls decide 1 movie each week. 2 if second place comes close. but the third one is just plucked from recommendations. sooo if you dont recommend something, they wont know what to add to the list.

ya theyve said before they get an email for every comment a user makes. so they see all of it. just comment in the weekly polls what you want to see, and they will add to their backlog. it doesnt automatically mean your recommendation will immediately show up cause theres thousands of people, but it will now be on their radar and has a chance of being chosen at random.

My Aunt worked as a waitress in the restaurant in the alps where they filmed. Diana Rigg didn't want to be hoisted into the helicopter and so my aunt became a stunt double. The fact that she had the name Bond was a fun coincidence.

I generally liked that Fantastic Four movie. Except that they did what always gets done with Dr. Doom. They did my boy dirty and fucked him up. They also tried to make Reed Richards likable, just like the new movie, which is an egregious sin against the character

Have to agree with you, Music. It's been pretty rare for like a year that there are two weeks in a row where there is a movie I'm excited to see a full reaction to. Sometimes there will be a whole month with just one movie, though I lean more into drama and thriller personally over action and comedy. Or they'll start a longer series of movies like the Bond or Final Destination stuff that I have no interest in seeing. But I stick around because they are genuinely great reactors and cool people.

i feel like the genres come in waves. like they just had a week of all dramas and thrillers with end of watch, gangs of new york, falling down and so on and people were saying "so depressing". so now theres some superheroes and fun action. then my guess is the week after will be different again.

OHMSS was previously underrated, but I'm glad to see its getting some love these days. Although Lazenby leaves a lot to be desired the story is excellent and the locations are great, as usual. One of my favourites!

Sadly, not really a DA fan. Watched a few episodes back when it first came out(I was in my 20s and Jessica Alba was about the hottest thing on TV lol), but I never really got into it. I just used DA to make the joke work. ;) Now Horatio Hornblower, on the other hand, that was my jam. :) But if that's Jester in your avatar, then I'm right there with you as a CR fan. I'd love to see Jax watch TLoVM, but I don't know if she'd survive the end of the first ep. Lol (edit: Oops, thought I was on Reacts with Jax. Lol)

Please please please put Apocalypto on a poll someday! It’s Mel Gibson’s best film in my opinion. Also hope y’all continue the Cloverfield movies, or at least watch Underwater (even though it isn’t actually a CF film). It’s so overlooked. I honestly prefer it to CF, depending on my mood.

That is intentional as we needed to do a last minute swap of movie release schedule due to copyright issues. FFDM will be on Patreon next Thursday right before it goes on YT the day after so another movie that was originally meant for that slot can have more time to be re-edited
