The Demon Slayer corps don't know where all the upper ranks are. Uzui was following a lead and just happened upon one, the other Hashira are following up on other leads presumably. If they knew where one was they would almost certainly send multiple Hashira.

I’m not sure if you read these, but just in case this is NOT a spoiler don’t worry, the anime won’t go over this. This is just side content that’s not in the story line. But there are manga panels with how the hashira view each other. Obanai (the serpent hashira) does seem cold and heartless here. But George is right, Obanai’s personality is just like that but he does genuinely like and respect Tengen. He just comes off as malicious due to his tone. But they do like each other. Tengen just thinks Obanai is too serious because as we know Tengen is very eccentric and flashy and Obanai is more quiet and reserved.

Excellent choice for something away from the shonen genre. Not a shonen hater myself or anything, just like it when people can get into an anime that’s not revolved around fight/battle sequences.

Even though this arc is a fan favorite, I agree that the plot doesn't progress much. It's mostly fighting. So excited for season 3! My favorite characters are going to be introduced ☺️

Honestly the story is pretty good but I'm beginning to be really annoyed with Inosuke and Zenitsu. The constant shouting out of what attack is happening and I cannot bring myself to care about the backstory of demons who've killed hundreds if not thousands of people.
